Yeah, so Hila is leaving out the important details: (A) Ramallah is not within the borders of Israel, she was serving as part of an illegal occupation force of Palestinian land , and (B) when she says her brigade would go on nightly raids to arrest "terrorists" she means that the IDF, as part of tactics to enforce the illegal occupation of Ramallah, raids peoples homes without warrants to harass and terrorize civilians to intimidate them into being too scared to resist the occupation. Hila is being coy, this wasn't some run-of-the-mill boring office job. She was very much complicit in a very inhumane, illegal military occupation force.

I love watching the h3h3 podcast and show, but we need some real talk for this video: Hila is talking about working in the IDF, illegally occupying the West Bank.
There are countless stories of these night raids and how brutal they are to the Palestinians. Ramallah is in the West Bank; in this scenario, Hila is the "bad guy".
"Give me liberty or give me death" isn't something a Palestinian can say without being labelled a terrorist; and subsequent being arrested by people occupying your country. But Americans (us, me and you) value territorial freedom and say it all the time.

Most volunteer military members want war. That's what they signed up for.

But again, with Israel, the rate of brutality is less, but the issue is that the Palestinians when having issues with Israel soldiers don’t go to a civil court the way African Americans do. They aren’t Israeli. They go to a military court. Just for them. It’s impossible to be a 100% moral occupation force. You are occupying people so the people will always retaliate. The thing is Israeli soldiers aren’t taught to behave like police. Some are taught to kill terrorist some are taught to manage a border but none are taught how to deal with occupied civilians cause you can’t properly teach people how to be a military who occupies another people. It’s not about brutality with Israel it’s about occupation

@@khalil42 jews literally are indigenous to israel. whether you like it or not, we have historical significance there. there have been countless things found in that region that prove that we've been there for at least thousands of years. hell, one of the biggest attractions, the kotel, is proof enough. that wall is THOUSANDS of years old and is proof of the existence of the jewish temple, showing that we've been there for thousands of years.
