Damn! This brought back memories! Class of 08’ Rip Crespo . Shout out power 106 DJ inferno. DJing on the quad every Friday during lunch! I wish everyone a blessed life , I credit that school for the success and blessing I’ve accomplished in life thank you Mr santibenez
Class of 83 here! Going to Kennedy was such a great Kick Off to entering Real Life as a young adult in the Awesome 80s!! As of 2020, when this video was shot, Kennedy mostly was the same apparently, as when I went there. I spent most of my High School Life in the Drama Theater and so everything else is more of a Blur.. I wish you would have been able to film the Theater's inside, but this is a great video because everything is so crazy these days that we can't even go back to visit as Alumni.. Me and my friends used to hang out at the Quad and sit there to eat lunch because I didn't like how shaded and cold and breezy the lunch tables were in the Cafeteria area.. Good Times for sure!
Was there '84-87. North of the cafeteria were the "shops". Unfortunately "auto shop" wasn't offered anymore. But "wood shop" was very helpful for me to this day! Mr. Robert Hazard(ironic last name to teach wood working safety..lol) was just a mellow dude. Even in a emergency like situation, he was very calm. I always compared him(in looks) to "Monroe"(too close for comfort sitcom). Good times there at JFK! undercover student(cop) football star romance thing happened during my time there.. crazzzy😮😉
thank you Jason Sandoval for posting this video. wow. I haven't stepped foot on campus since I graduated there back in 1990. I saw a lot of new stuff happening there from your video but all in all, it was the JFK I definitely remembered.
Ain’t nothing changed but the decor, haha it’s a nice touch though, class of 2014 alum here bro it’s cool your sharing man sure brings back a lot of memories
class on 21'. Haha, I believe a huge change gonna happen in the next few years because they're going to be knocking down and replacing buildings. Glad I unlocked some memories.
This video was done by Jason Sandoval as a gift for freshmen due to Covid 19. The class of 2024 was in quarantine during freshmen year. Thank you to our Link Crew Leader. Also to our Principal Dr. Chavez for allowing him to enter campus! Due to current modernization, this video will be one of its kind after construction is completed. Many of the areas from E, M, Cafeteria, D, and S buildings have not been accessible since last year March of 2023. I am glad many alumni have enjoyed this video. Link Crew will do another video and keep you posted on upcoming changes. Link Crew is our leadership group (student mentors for incoming freshmen).
@@jasonsandoval592 it's been a long time since I've been back to California. Love seeing the track & football field. Spent a lot of time running around that field. Two years track & cross country. Coach Pete Nelson was a great coach. I wish I had done more workouts during off season. Class of 79
@@reggiereseller8252 my present slef has figured everything out, today was funny seeing the seniors run around the building during 6th to get grad night tickets
Seeing the campus brings back memories. Class of 06! I used to hang out in the band room during lunch all the time. great times!
Thank you for sharing. I haven't been on campus since 1985. A lot the same, a few new things. makes me miss being a kid again

Class 1979 Wow, the only thing I remember looking close to 1979 was the Quad.
Wow. That's crazy. We're taking good care of it, don't worry.
