Iron cross is fun to play because you win with every roll, other than a 7. I start out with $30 each on 5,6 &8 and $15 on the field along with $25 on the pass line . Once I’ve collected my initial investment of $130 I start pressing one unit each on the 6&8 with every win on the field bet. Wins on the place bets are collected after replacing the field bet.
How hard would it be to do this with $100 on 5 $150 on 6 and 8 and a $50 field bet $100 on pass line. Also at what point do you put money behind for odds ?

Play $100 on the 5 and $120 on the 6 and 8. Put $70 on the field. Each hit is $70 unless a 2 or 12 are rolled. After 2 rolls I take it down. If the table is hitting a lot of numbers I will put $110 inside and build them up.

If it was me, I would collect a few times power pressing a second time to recoup winnings and make a decent profit in the short run. I would expect shorter rolls and still make money on longer rolls.

i do this too but i press the 4,9,10 also and at some point do a continuous dc bet with hopes of winning that number twice.
When the puck is off and a 7 is rolled for a come up bet does it not wipe your place bets? Or only when the puck is on a 7 wipes it?

Ok, first of all, love the channel and all of your videos. Thank you for everything. Seriously. Second, the child that "popped his cherry", I mean com'n. Elon was right, complete population collapse is heading our way. I digress. Third, where are there $10 tables in Vegas anymore? Let's be realistic, y'all should do $50 minimums so we stand a chance at calculating IO when we inevitably hit a $25 table.
Had a fantastic roll but banked only 56. Love the power press but it's also so dangerous. 3 hits on the 5 and 8, 2 on the 6. $150+ field hits without pressing.
Needed a 4th hit on either 5 or 8 to make 186 vs 168 - 170 + field wins
Do a video on just playing wild. I dig the strategies but I like seeing anomaly's playing outside the box. For instance I kind of like the see a bet make a bet (repeater) every once in a while

I watched a video recently where they played an iron cross from the don't pass... which allows you to win 32 out of 36 times; the greatest benefit of this system being that you have the 7 working for you. Would you be willing to review this system? I think it's called "the iron don't."
I like playing the don’t and iron cross is a fun strategy. I’m going to give it a try.

I have played this and had good luck with it. Set a rule to walk after 2 hard loses in a short time, meaning either loss on comeout or immediate point hit.

I would stick to reducing your bet once you've got your initial buy-in and play on house money. Then you can collect and press after, like a normal iron cross.
This is the exactly the system I use most of the time. If I have $1,000 I’ll play $85 inside no 9 w/ $15 in the field. First 2 hits I collect to help protect the bankroll, then power press / collect on 5, 6, 8.

I wouldn't take the field bet down to press up the 5-6 or 8 after a field win. Only use the winning chips to press. You're putting too much money on the table off of racked chips. I think I would also place the 9. Extra chips when it hits. Otherwise this "system" looks very interesting.
So im learning craps, Ive been lurking on these videos and I noticed something:
Why don't any of these strategies bet or press the odds? Isn't the odds bet one of the few with no house edge? Towards the end of the video, the point is on 6 and he has a place bet on the 6, and you have him press the 5 to $100. I can't for the life of me figure out why you wouldn't move the place bet 6 to odds and use the field or 5 money to press your odds to the max?
If we're trying to set up a win on any number then I understand keeping money on the 5, but dont we want to have most of our money on the bet with the best odds of coming out ahead. Pressing the 5 to $100 screams "long shot bet with suboptimal payout" to me. Any clarification would ve greatly approciated, love the content, thanks!

I feel it's better to just collect all the field wins and for the Iron Cross numbers of 5,6 and 8, just collect on the FIRST hit and then press for the 2nd time that particular number hits and then just keep on doing this for ONLY the Iron Cross numbers!
I like field bets. It's just enjoyment for the extra action.
With triple 2 or 12 the field is better for the player than 5,9 place bets.

I like you guys because you both have a GREAT sense of humor BUT, you have a FULL craps table with ALL of the right accessories so why would you NOT be as REALISTIC as POSSIBLE???!!!
Your shooter should either shoot from the position he was shooting from and toss or shoot the dice to the OTHER end of the table and have 2 cameras - 1 for where he was shooting from IF he was a dice-setter with controlled shooting ( which he was NOT in this case ) to show him actually shooting the dice and what combination he starts with and HOW he tosses the dice and the OTHER camera to record the OUTCOME of the roll of the dice!
Or, he could shoot from the position of one-stick-left if he is RIGHT-handed, or one stick right if he is LEFT-handed, and maybe just use ONE camera to record ALL of the action!
Also, since he IS the shooter, he HAS to put a Pass line bet and I would also put a C & E bet - in this situation, I would put $10 in the pass line and $5 on BOTH C & E - and then once he establishes his point, then I would put up the Iron-Cross money.
Also, I would RECOMMEND dice-setting with controlled shooting because that type of shooter tends to do MUCH better than just random shooters who just pick up the dice and then throw them, or the ones who shake up the dice in their hands and then toss them! And I would also suggest that you do this for at LEAST 10 rolls of the dice until the shooter either makes their point or sevens-out, since you made this TOO short to show a TRUER outcome!
Being REALISTIC gives ALL of your viewers a TRUER sense of what can happen in the REAL world as opposed to shooting the dice in that UNREALITIC BS area as you demonstrated in this video!!!
