I have an O2 ring and Fitbit sleep tracker. I have mild-moderate apnoea and use cpap. I noticed that when I use my cpap whilst I get overall longer sleep, my REM and deep sleep cycles are significantly reduced (50-70%). So most sleep is just classed as light sleep. Are there any studies on impact of cpap to REM/deep sleep, or maybe it’s just me?!

I just started using a cpap for mild sleep apnea. I have used it for about a month and find that I sleep terrible with it.

Wait, so is it a positive or negative thing if you remember your dreams? It wasn’t clear whether remembering dreams is indicative of good sleep or not. Thank you if you see this and answer Dr. B!

I wake up and see the sun rising the time every day. No matter what time I go to bed. 10, 11, 1:00 . But I usually go at about 10. Regularity is very important

Ive run out of places to ask...
For the past 10 months ive been having a weird tremor feeling you cant see in my upper chest, sometimes hands and head. I could feel it in my lips. It moves around Almost every night, this feeling freaks me out. It happens right as falling asleep and waking up. If I lay there and dont move it continues, as soon as I move it pretty much goes away. Last night I had the feeling of doom right before sleeping like 20 times... It take me 3 hours to finally fall all the way asleep. I always lay there afterwards trying to diagnose what was happening but never really can explain how it feels. I know my shoulders felt week. Im pretty sure my muscles are tense after that tho. Im so tired when its happening tho I just lay there on the edge of sleep until it happens again getting more frustrated.
Funny thing is last night before bed I tried some breathing exercises I watched on your tube and last night was terrible.
Anyone else have this stuff? I swear cant I just have a normal life?

I used to have tremors during the night that felt like a distant train was rumbling by. What helped a lot was putting a sublingual B12 supplement (methyl cobalamin) under my tongue. Taking a B-complex supplement was also helpful. The B vitamins seem to nourish the nervous system.

@@angelerodrigue1843 I just started taking b12 under the tongue about 3 days ago. I still dont feel better. I seem to have weird vibrations here and there throughout the day sometimes to like my muscles are tense but thats probably left over anxiety.
