In the USA you would never find actual cut up pieces of onion like these ramen cups had. It's always going to be onion powder or very little pieces of onion. With these cups you can actually tell what they added to the ramen. Wish we got this with our instant ramen.
If you go to Asian supermarkets, you might be able to find Asian brand instant noodles. There's usually a packet of dehydrated veg and meat in it. I highly recommend a Korean brand called Shin Ramyun if you like spicy stuff!
This was a VERY INTERESTING video - I never knew there were so many different types of ramen. I'm always so impressed with Japanese noodle slurping skills. I always make a mess or end up coughing because I inhaled the soup :-(
Just wait til you see all the variations of recipes for _kare raisu_ (curry rice) and _chahan_ (the Japanese version of Chinese fried rice) in Japan. Both are well-known for innumerable home recipe versions.
I’m so American. The slurping makes me shudder. I’m like please stop. I get that’s totally a cultural difference, but I’m just not down with the slurping.
Some of these varieties really surprise me..I mean..ones I think may taste best ..are opposite ..of ones I think.. and you end up not liking as well ..vice a versa ..I never imagined so many flavors of ramen
I second that. I mean, Shinnichi is more eloquent and his english it's better, but Satoshi's accent make everything he says sound so cuuute! They complement each other so well
Okay so I'm fairly obsessed with Japanese cuisine and RUclips videos related to it. I get bored of certain presenters who shall remain nameless, but you guys are different. You are both so sweet that I never bore of you! My favorite channel by far! 💜
We actually have sukiyaki beef ramen noodles in the U.S.! Maruchan makes it under their "Taste of Asia" line, along with tonkotsu, spicy miso, kimchi, and tom yum.
Saw that there's a limited vanilla ice cream flavored creamy seafood ramen coming out end of July. Would love to see a video of it. As always love your videos!
Hi guys 😊😊. So my favorite out of everything I'd have to say is you and Sitoshi . You bring me foods and drinks that are unique and take me to places that I'd never get to experience if it weren't for you. Even though I can't physically experience or taste much of this myself as most of it is only available only in Japan I can get an introduction and idea into what they're supposed to be like which is the next best thing. So Thank You for bringing this all into my life and giving me the opportunity to enjoy it as much as possible. 🤗🤗😊😊.
The flavors are strange, but some of them I can relate to. Mystery meat sounds like a school lunch here in the US. I do love ramen, and could eat it almost every day. Thanks for sharing guys.
I don't eat Ramen noodles so I don't have a favorite but I know those last two wouldn't go over too well where I live but the others might do well. Love watching you guys.
I really want a video with your go-to ramen noodles - the ones that you keep in your homes for your dinner pleasure - and why they are your favorites. I just wanna eat so much ramen right now and I haven't had instant ramen since 2016 probably lol
Oh wow - this was great! I wonder if you had been collecting special cup ramen noodles for awhile, just for this video! I was a bit sad about the french onion soup cup noodle. I think if it were done well, it could actually be very good. The sukiyaki noodles sound amazing! It was such fun to see cup man again, too. He's such a hard worker, and yet so humble. :-) Thanks for the great video, and I look forward to seeing you at the livestream (hopefully Justin, too)!
could you imagine trying to make these flavors into gourmet ramen? like, get your ceramic bowl, your good noodles, broth from scratch... and then put a whole happy meal in there.
Some very different types of soups. Interesting that you can get egg in yours. When the cup noodles first came out in the U.S. years ago they used to have scrambled eggs in the cup. But after awhile they took it out as some people complained the eggs might be undercooked and make people sick. I sometimes scramble some eggs just to add to the soup and noodles.
Always enjoy your videos. You guys are the best. Love how you are so easy going. Anyway......finally found an Asian market with a MASSIVE variety of noodles, pot style and cups. Going soon will be looking for these. Blessings.
Love your videos! You guys have such a fresh take on all the foods you sample! Very encouraging to your subscribers to get out there and try something new!! ❤️❤️
I love how people in your culture slurp when you eat noodles. Lol it makes me want some noodles too. Is there a certain meaning behind the noise? It must mean something good. We love ramen here and go to this Ramen spot here called Uma Uma every week. We love their Miso Ramen. I get level 2 heat. It’s amazing. We also get the bulgulgi beef stuffed rice ball and takoyaki with Benito flakes I love it all. I can’t wait to visit Japan one day and bring my kids.
The noise comes from inhaling air together with the soup which adds flavor to it. That's what Japanese people told me and I'd say it's true, I also slurp Ramen like a Japanese person even at home lol, that's the proper way to do it. First you admire the visuals, then smell it, then slurp the soup, then kindof inhale slurp a proper bite of noodles. Only after this can you go ahead and pick meat or other stuff with the noodles, the order is also important (again, told to me by Japanese people when I was in Japan).
first video ive seen from TabiEats so forgive me for not knowing who is who, but the guy with the "hi" shirt is 10000x better at eating ramen than me. Like just watching his technique and how he slurps and guides the noodles in with his chopsticks is mesmerizing
This video was soooooo cool! I tried finding some of these online but I was unable. Fortunately I’ll be in Japan in September and can’t wait to do a haul! Totally doing a combini onigiri Haul too! Your videos inspired me sooooo much! Love you guys!
Well, you boys talked me into getting the Sukiyaki noodles. I found them on Amazon and they are on the way. I am so excited to try them! Love you Shinichi and Satoshi!! 💕
Those cubes are bread croutons and a "gratin " is a baking type dish . Because French onion soup has cheese and a large crouton on top of the soup and cheese . Then it's put under a heating element to melt it on top.
Hey guys! I love watching your videos and really enjoyed this too! Was wondering if you'd consider doing a video on vegetarian food in japan. I saw your vegan video but as a vegetarian i don't eat meat or fish but I do eat milk products such as cheese and yogurt and eggs! Much love from UK!
Im about 6 videos in, on the day I found you guys channel. And Im hooked! I always like to try new flavors, from around the world! Maybe I can send you guys some stuff to try!
Hi guys! Playing catch up on your videos again.... I know, I'm a terrible fan, LOL. I get so jealous of your ramen taste tests because I wish I could try them with you! Ramen here is so bland so I wish they would have unique flavors every once in a while. I would definitely try them all, but I think I would love the takoyaki and sukiyaki flavors the best. I loved all the different ingredients in the takoyaki ramen. I wanted the mystery meat ramen to be a complete shocker, but at least it tasted okay. Thanks for sharing guys!
Wow, you guys had so many noodles this weekend! So much variety! The takoyaki and Mexican flavors were really interesting. Thanks for the videos and have a great weekend!
Came here from your other Ramen video. Wow your guys noodles look way better lol. I was a bit skeptical about that piece of ''meat'' but you made it sound delicious. The taco one looks like it would be my fav. Dang why don't we have those over here !!! Grr... ****WAIT ... french fries and chicken nuggets??? now that def sounds like something you'd see over here but don't. Wow... crazy combo!
I saw the Mexican style and I remembered - there's a restaurant here in town and the sign along the side of the place says "Indian Style Chinese Food" - my mom finds that the funniest thing and looks for it every time we go downtown :)
Hi Guys!! Sorry I havent been attending your live stream as of late.... Please do know that we watch your videos regularly. It shows at 9pm our time and I guess I'm getting too old to stay up for it!! lol Love you two!!
Wow!!! Some look so delicious!!! I want to try! Are these limited editions? Or do I have a change to taste some of them when I'm back in Japan? Especially the sukiyaki and takoyaki ones. And I think my husband and daughter would really like the fries and chicken nugget taste, since they practically lived at Moss burgers last time, hahaha. I just got the idea to make tamago toji with leftover french fries and chicken nuggets. If it's possible can you do a summer sweets/dessert taste test?
I would like to see a 'best Japanese instant ramen' video! I am from the US but I would like to see what you have for great options, as some of them may be available for US viewers. :) Great videos!

That last one made me giggle a bit, because finding out the Mystery Meat was partially TVP (I'm guessing that's the form of the soybean) wasn't much surprise at all. I'd love to try out the sukiyaki ramen, but a lot of these looked good, or at least interesting. Someone should make Chicken and Waffles Ramen and see whether that will sell. :D
Cup man is the star of this video sorry guys
He def. bends over more than either of these Queens!
You can always count on cup man ton"hold it down" - as this kids would say :p haha
Lol
@@WtfRUclips_YouSuck Wow. Classy post there. Thoroughly covers all the homophobe angles.
It's 6 in the morning for me, and now I'm trying to resist the urge to have cup noodle for breakfast.
Same
Give in to the temptation. Let the broth course through your veins and become one with the noodles.
Why would you ever resist that urge? I dint understand what you are saying lol
This is a year old, but crack an egg in! Instant breakfast! Fresh green onion is good too!
Reesa Anderson same.
I love how pleasant they are, so kind even if they dislike something ❤️
In the USA you would never find actual cut up pieces of onion like these ramen cups had. It's always going to be onion powder or very little pieces of onion. With these cups you can actually tell what they added to the ramen. Wish we got this with our instant ramen.
nanoflower1 Same, especially the sukiyaki flavor.
You should find an Asian market near you! I’m a vegetarian and found at least 10 vegetarian kinds.
They used to have nice pieces of green onion in the regular Maruchan noodles, but no longer.
If you go to Asian supermarkets, you might be able to find Asian brand instant noodles. There's usually a packet of dehydrated veg and meat in it. I highly recommend a Korean brand called Shin Ramyun if you like spicy stuff!
Get Nongshim Shin Black ramen soup. Big chunks of spring onion garlic slices shitake mushrooms. So good
You two are the most genuine people. Thank you for blessing us.
This was a VERY INTERESTING video - I never knew there were so many different types of ramen. I'm always so impressed with Japanese noodle slurping skills. I always make a mess or end up coughing because I inhaled the soup :-(

I can't help myself, I must say again...Satoshi is so cute. So cute!!! Shinnichi, you are so lucky. :D
I second that. I mean, Shinnichi is more eloquent and his english it's better, but Satoshi's accent make everything he says sound so cuuute! They complement each other so well
Are they a couple? I’m new to this channel. M
@@jaygsalvador If they are not, they should be.
@@jaygsalvador I am new also, and yes they are. I have a HUGE crush on them already!
Second video for me and i did not know. But now that i do they are adorable.
Watching TabiEats brings so much joy to my day. Thank you for sharing your experiences, Satoshi and Shinichi.
Anyone else disappointed that the takoyaki one doesn’t come with a packet of Japanese mayo? Also I need a cup man. 😍
I cannot stop binge watching y'alls channel! I LOVE IT! So happy to have found it especially during this time! 💙
I’d love to try all of them, honestly, especially the sukiyaki one.
Okay so I'm fairly obsessed with Japanese cuisine and RUclips videos related to it. I get bored of certain presenters who shall remain nameless, but you guys are different. You are both so sweet that I never bore of you! My favorite channel by far! 💜
So happy I found this channel, it is so awesome. I love food videos and wish I had found it sooner.
I was dying laughing at Satoshi’s reaction to the chicken nuggets so funny 😂
Who is that one. The one without the glasses or the one with glasses
Satoshi is with glasses.
We do not have french onion ramen in America. I used to have to get creative with regular beef ramen. Good thing I worked as a cook for forever.
These videos are always so delightful it feels like it’s only been 5 minutes and it’s already over. Love it, look forward to more! ビデオが大好きです
We actually have sukiyaki beef ramen noodles in the U.S.! Maruchan makes it under their "Taste of Asia" line, along with tonkotsu, spicy miso, kimchi, and tom yum.
Cup man really put in the work this video
Thanks for fueling my need for ramen and traveling to Japan. The Takoyaki flavored noodles sound amazing
Saw that there's a limited vanilla ice cream flavored creamy seafood ramen coming out end of July. Would love to see a video of it. As always love your videos!
So I suppose you should eat the ice cream flavored ramen together with the ramen flavored ice cream, and you'd have a balanced meal... ^_^
Dominique F wait, like, thats one flavor??? 😂😂😂
I've got to find a cup man, I mean everyone needs at least one. I've recently discovered you guys and love your videos. Thank you.
Wish has them. You're welcome

i just discovered this channel and I already love it. cupman is my favorite.
I don't eat Ramen noodles so I don't have a favorite but I know those last two wouldn't go over too well where I live but the others might do well. Love watching you guys.
I need one of those cup men
I really want a video with your go-to ramen noodles - the ones that you keep in your homes for your dinner pleasure - and why they are your favorites. I just wanna eat so much ramen right now and I haven't had instant ramen since 2016 probably lol
Maruchan in the USA makes a chicken tortilla soup flavor in both the kind you cook and in the cup noodle style. Its soooo good
Satoshi laughing at the chicken nugget one was funny😂😂😂💕
Desperately need a mr. Cup man
I'm visiting Japan soon. Where can I buy cupmen?

Mr. Cup man is ready to take it in the rear
Being hungry makes everything taste 100% more amazing too....also fyi: 'mystery meat' usually has bad meaning in America haha.
I just ordered the Qtta Mexican Tacos one off eBay from a reputable dealer and can’t wait to try it! Thanks guys!
I play a lot of video games, and in most video games "mystery meat" is a euphemism for "human flesh." I am scared for you guys right now!
Oh wow - this was great! I wonder if you had been collecting special cup ramen noodles for awhile, just for this video! I was a bit sad about the french onion soup cup noodle. Oh, I want that Yakisoba with tempura and ginger. I'm very jealous.
I wish we had this available in the states.
Great video, you guys are wholesome quality entertainment and i always look forward to seeing you.
“Who would want to eat noodles with chicken nuggets and French fries?” My sentiments exactly!
Sukiyaki is my favorite Japanese dish. OMG, I'm drooling while watching you enjoy it. Where can I get those sukiyaki cup o' noodles?!?!
Found your channel today. I am really enjoying watching you guys! Keep it up!

Great video guys lots of cool noodle flavors I'd love to try. I was able to try the chicken nugget one it was interesting flavor
Love your videos! You guys have such a fresh take on all the foods you sample! Very encouraging to your subscribers to get out there and try something new!! ❤️❤️
Lol the mystery cube in the french onion was bread crumbs cause they often put a piece of toasted baguette on top then cheese

Plutôt appétissante vos nouilles instantanées, merci pour vos vidéos qui sont toujours très agréables a regarder et votre bonne humeur les garçons!
If you could make a "special" ramen instant noodle what would you put in the cup? Which ingredients? What kind of soup??
Hmm...we have to think about that one. How about you?
I keep getting these recommended and I keep watching.
Hey Shinichi and Satoshi, those ramen noodles looks so good and tasty for me, gotta try this. Well done! 😋😃👍👍👏👏💯💯
That sukiyaki ramen looks so good

Well, you boys talked me into getting the Sukiyaki noodles. I found them on Amazon and they are on the way. I am so excited to try them! Love you Shinichi and Satoshi!! 💕
Love the cup man, great idea. To practice my chopstick technique I am trying pot noodles.
Heck - two handsome guys trying noodles and being polite. I’ll watch 😅
I want to shake both your hands and an autograph. Ya’ll keep me up all night binging your videos but I thank you.
I watched one of your videos yesterday and went and got the same one you tried, the spicy chicken flavor one and it was delicious!
Now I gotta go make some shrimp and lime ramen noodles, watching these makes me hungry 👍👍
Those cubes are bread croutons and a "gratin " is a baking type dish . Because French onion soup has cheese and a large crouton on top of the soup and cheese . Then it's put under a heating element to melt it on top.

I think I would like the taco one too Shinichi, but if I could pick one that was a tie I would pick the octopus one😋
Satoshi-san, I love your shirt!
"Unless we actually go to Mexico" - Shinichi-san , I think you're onto something :x Oaxaca food vlog series? :D

And I think my husband and daughter would really like the fries and chicken nugget taste, since they practically lived at Moss burgers last time, hahaha. I just got the idea to make tamago toji with leftover french fries and chicken nuggets.
If it's possible can you do a summer sweets/dessert taste test?

Going to look for some of these at Mitsuwa Market in Torrance tomorrow
Shinichi was looking at Satochi like please taste it and pass it on already lol
Watching this makes me want to go to the store and try all the instant noodles lol
So so so cool!!!!! 😮♥️ cup man is from Akira mabuchi!!!!! 👍
The guy on the right brings a big smile to my face.🙂
These guys are awsome why am I likeing this so much
I've had the Nissin Sukiyaki one and it's really good, you can sometimes get it here in the Netherlands even.
Thank you mr cupman
