anonyslime - I said EXACTLY the same thing before I read your comment. Since junior high I’ve been draining almost all water and adding just enough packet seasoning. Great minds!
I always felt like adding the flavor packets when the soup is drowning in water from boiling that the soup overall has such a watered down (pardon the pun) flavor and makes the soup not particularly good. I need at least THREE packets of flavor if I have to eat it that way. Otherwise drain 3/4ths of water THEN add packet :D

Well its also the sodium implementation. Fresh salt woukd be hella salty but the instant stuff salt loses its punch, so this could 10x more saltier then they like but doesnt taste as so
@Black.Flaps .Dont.Match are you insinuating that fresh salt is not in fact more or less water soluble than the packaged aged salt in an instant ramen pack, because if you were you are wrong as fuck too.

There has been a lot of scaling back of the amount of salt in instant ramen, soup, and other things in the US due to health concerns. They used to be a lot saltier like 15 years ago.
@@jenathent4840 One way to remedy this issue is to simply use less water. That way the seasoning isn't watered down. Be sure to drain noodles to have only a little bit of liquid (not dry, but just moist enough). Watching them eat their noodles was hard because they kept all of the water. I also let the instant cup noodles sit a while. That way the noodles have time to soak up the flavor. When the noodles are stiffer, they don't soak in the flavor very well.

Yeah they were being fair, and comparing them to the instant noodles available in Japan. You notice they even liked most of them. There were only a couple that they didn't seem to like much. The take away from this is that Japanese instant noodles have more salt, and bolder flavors than the ones from America. The ones available in the US are a bit lighter style of soups. The others in the comments saying that is "better"....well that's an opinion. Sometimes you can be in the mood for something lighter. Sometimes you can be in the mood for something bolder.

I always felt like adding the flavor packets when the soup is drowning in water from boiling that the soup overall has such a watered down (pardon the pun) flavor and makes the soup not particularly good. Cheese one is the best one lma9
@@_anonymous_creature_ is your family the same family from resident evil 7?
I’m shocked to see people in the replies who like it 😳 been eating instant ramen for my whole 40 years of life, tried them all, and hands down the cheese one is THE NASTIEST one I’ve ever tasted - my 3 kids won’t even touch it and they usually eat anything smothered in cheese. Only 2 people I knew who would eat it are, well, how do I put it politely, very stereotypically “white” in their food preferences (no seasoning, so flavor, no nada) 😂 (and before you call me racist, I’m white damn it lol)
Hello from the USA! I hit like as soon as I saw cup-man. I cheered again when I saw cup-man return. I cried when cup-man fell. I like Thai Kitchen brand these days since it's light and healthy. I add Sriracha, Hot Chili Oil, and sometimes Hoisen sauce. Top Ramen was a favourite in college because you could get 8 packets for $1, but very high calorie and salty. I agree Maruchan is light, only had it a few times. Nothing at the grocery comes close the local ramen restaurants though. Great review, thank you, and looking forward to visiting Japan someday to try authentic Ramen
The spicy chicken Yakisoba is my favorite!!!
Yes totally agree!
Same! I can't get enough of it!!! I'm glad they liked it 😁
🤯Turns out they also agree 🤩
It honestly fools me into thinking I’m eating Indian food, I appreciate the yakisoba spicy chicken much more after seeing this gem of a suggestion
Same!!! Soo yummy.
I like the teriyaki beef better

I thought you both did a wonderful job. I really enjoyed your comments. I live in Louisiana, USA and have never taste ramen noodles. So you made it easy for me to try what I think I would like. I am 74 hrs old, and you are never to old to learn something new.
So true. Never let anyone tell you otherwise. Keep learning and enjoying life! 😊
