Mitsubishi Montero Compass Backlight Replacement (+ Altimeter, Inclinometer Bulb) DIY

How to replace the compass backlight, as well as the inclinometer and altimeter backlight bulbs on a second generation (1991-1999 in Japan) Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero in some export markets). Only 3 tools are required, making this a simple repair.
Bulb I used (early, green version) - Mitsubishi part number MB898179

my compass and the compass backlight stopped working almost like a year ago, never fixed it, guess this video is a call to action lol. Do you have any idea if its fixable? I know that the bulb can just be replaced, but the compass is not working, only the display shows up blinking...

How do you fix the altimeter and inclinometer????? Mine don't work any more... Also I have a different compass and that stopped working too
