@Lindsay Marsh I don't know what to do afterward. Should I go freelance now or repeat course. My confidence level is not that high yet. I think I'm afraid but knowing I have the course that's what gives me the little confidence I have. Thank you for responding.
@@goodfood1587 Gotcha! Well, there is much more to design than one course. Some people continue to take other courses, join design communities, start to follow some strong designers, find a possible mentor, Find a few people who in a similar spot and form an small group to support each other and encourage each other, there are also lots of really good design books you can read, my list is right here a.co/5DECKYS Did you take the "finding your design niche" part of that course yet? Did you discover which design niche you want to focus on? That would be a good next step so you can start to specialize and take courses or learn in that one area. Some designers decide to keep going and add UX/UI skills, some design to take on branding work and study that more further.
@Lindsay Marsh Thank you! I thought about focusing on one thing and then expand from there. I have three of your courses which provides me what niche I want to start with. I will join Facebook groups. Thank you so much!
and find out which project types/services are in-demand and usually fetch higher prices. They may not always be the things you love doing but tolerable. Eventually you can specialize with enough experience.
Linda ma'am, i have a question for you. As a new freelancer we don't have any experience at all. For gaining experience what we need to do? Do we need to go for intership or should we have to work in a company 1-3 year for gaining experience. What's your advice on it?
It depends. So many ways to gain experience. All of the above, whatever comes first. You can decide to pursue an internship and get direct experience. You can work for non-profits for free or lower cost to gain experience. Depends on if you are seeking freelance career or salary.
Superb video Lindsay! Very useful.Thank you for your effort to provide content like this🙏 one doubt,do you need design thumbnails yourself. This thumbnail is beautiful.you lost weight na😊
thank you! I actually took some photos of me and ran them through an AI to kind of cartoon it a little bit. Makes my skin look better lol. I do all the thumbnails myself and hope to do some lessons on RUclips thumbnail designs once I do a lot of testing to see which ones are most effective.
I have been following you on Instagram and RUclips. Love your commitment and passion to teach, plus how you have made your course affordable to young people. Really wanted yo buy your course on udemy, but my country has made it that our credit card can't make dollar purchases. I really wished there was a way to pay through using crypto currency.😭. That's the only way I can send USD. May God Bless you! I wish to be your student someday. 😩 I pray One day Nigeria will get better. 🤕

Very informative and very detailed thanks Lindsay
Hello I've taken the masterclass but I seem stuck should I just repeat the class to gain more experience?
when you say "stuck" what exactly do you mean?
