Tried this yestersay and it didnt worked :( The blueberry dough was too runny and i had to add extra flour and butter. This hence resulted to a very inconsistent resting time for both by over an hour. And fresh blueberry dough's colour certainly not as bright as yours unless if i add colouring into it. Unfortunately i had to change to plan b and split into making different bun
Would this recipe still work if I placed the 2 dough rolls back to back in a 9x5in loaf pan and placed a cookie sheet over it while proofing for the second time and while baking? I do not have square mold- they are sorta pricey for 1 on Amazon and I cannot find it locally. Thanks for your advice!
This recipe is fail, i made the 2 doughs and proof at the same time, the purple dough just proof, a bit while the white dough proof nicely. At the end the whole bread was failed it wasted time and energy to try this recipe. I think the blueberry jam is the reason to make the dough not proof. I guess he used the homemade blueberry jam instead of the blueberry jam in the shop.
