People may know this already. But (example, in halo ce) if you jump off of high places, yes you will get damage. But if you crouch just before you land, it reduces the damage so you wont die, or at least wont be hurt as badly.

I know I am mega late with the reply - but it mega bummed me out, havent played H2A since, 343 just made H2 speedrun worse every season and now it is unplayable. If you want to downpath to an earlier season, people in the haloruns discord found at haloruns.com will be able to help
No you just cant grenade jump as off-host in H2C multiplayer, that has always been the case, if you go in a custom game you can still grenade jump if you are host
