I think you’ll enjoy the complexity of the zimzalabim dance and the Be Natural dancing I think will just shock you (the song has a lot of soul and they dance on chairs, also predebut Taeyong is featured on the song)

For me, this song is nothing but a *vocal flex* on how this group can sing well. The lyrics might be repetitive but the vocals, gurl. Those harmonies and high notes can send me to heaven. Also performing this live needs great stamina.
the adlibs is more like seulgi doing that like the belts and for the scream the one doing it is irene. Like for real this is one of the hardest songs from red velvet

Wendy and Seulgi are doing the ad libs. Seulgi is the one doing the ah ah ah ah while Wendy is doing the ay yeah ay yeah ay yeah. Irene is actually the person who does the scream like note.

SHINeexokpop sorry but that doesn’t mean anything, and it’s obvious that the run in the end is Wendy’s since she does it live. The ay yeahs sounds like Wendy at the start but the way they end sounds like Seulgi, so some say it’s Wendy, and some say it’s Seulgi, but we’ll never really know who it is unless the girls say for sure. There are times when people have mistaken Wendy’s voice for Seulgi’s and vice versa, so there’s no point arguing as long as we all agree that RV are vocal queens💁♀️

Most of the adlibs are done by Seulgi and Wendy. However if you listen closely, all 5 girls are harmonizing throughout the whole song, and Yeri and Irene are whispering in the background for 75% of the song. Oddly enough this is a song that the general public didn't like, it's also one of their most harder to sing songs because it's heavily vocal focused. IF you notice there is barely any melody or instrumentation. Their vocals are meant to provide most of the melody. The music video is also another tribute to Michael Jackson. It was released on November 30th, the same day Thriller was released which is why it has that campy horror vibe.
Without a doubt, Red Velvet is one of the best girl groups in kpop, adding that they are also very versatile. You did a great job with the names, when I entered the fandom the same thing happened to me. Please react to gfriend they are a very good group. stay happy and healthy!💗

It's so fun to see the makings of a song from a producer-perspective and hearing how they think of the idol's vocals and the process mygod every little detail is explained and how they expressed that they like to compose for RV because composers get to experiment because that is RV's style
I think they composed another rv song and discussed that in detail as well in their yt. But for me, i guess they discussed ladies night better and how they really appreciate the flexibility of RV when it comes to song choices. They really explore yo!

red velvet is hands down one the most talented group out there. their vocals are on another level and it's insane. honestly, every artist under sm are all great vocalists. even rappers can sing. even if you're not a luvie, you can't deny these girls talents. anyways, you're probably my most favorite reactor when it comes to choreos. you notice everything down to the little details and not all reactors do it like you. i hope you get to react to twice in the future! i highly recommend feel special or more & more. those two are straight up top tiers of their title track choreos 🥰

It took me the longest time to learn their faces, you'll get there eventually. I eventually just watched their mvs over and over again and paused on every member and tried to name them. Having die hard reveluv friends helped because they tested me 😂

This song is a VOCAL FLEXER for Red Velvet. They do the background vocals (I think Seulgi and Wendy taking parts with the belting especially in the chorus) They have done whistle, runs, riffs.

The scream is Irene altho she doesn't do it live because it's ear piercing as in it's gonna distort the audio. The adlibs are by Seulgi and Wendy, Seulgi does the adlibs in the chorus. The harmonies are done by all of them.
The harmonies are split by the backtrack and their live singing once it's performed.

You got them all right at the end good job! Also yes the girls are all good dancers but sometimes they aren’t given choreo that showcases their skills unfortunately :( and some of the members even get bad outfits that prohibit them from fully showing their potential (really short skirts/dresses etc.). One of the reasons I got into them was because they’re all very well rounded! :)

RED VELVET IS THE QUEEN OF CONCEPT that has always been the center of attention every time they comeback and her song became a legend and followed by many idols
i always get so nervous watching them dance in heels because i'm scared they're gonna twist an ankle or something lol
i wish their stylist would consider to atleast let them wear wider heels instead of thin ones or much better flat ones because it's really scary and hard to dance with those (you need to balance your WHOLE BODY). i guess that they are trained to dance with those but it really increases the risk for ankle injuries which HELLA FUCKING DAMN HURTS.

This is such a good reaction video, thanks! Red Velvet did say that this was one of the toughest songs they've ever recorded- Wendy said her throat was sore after spending the day in the recording booth haha! Lots of vocal acrobatics, runs and belts, and their voices were basically the main melody line all throughout the thing. Combine this with quite an energetic choreography, I'll probably rank this as their hardest song to perform on stage.

Also, I feel like you liked their harmony since I heard you mentioned it as well on dumb dumb? For harmonies, I suggest checking out their latest SM STATION release, a remake of BoA song, Milkyway. It was their first song release and OT5 apprearance since Wendy's accident last December. Their other SM STATION releases also have amazing harmonies, Would U and Rebirth (a remake of Yoon Jong Shin's song for a project with Mystic Story, where Mystic on the other hand, remade Dumb Dumb) it is a show named Snowball Project available on SM C&C vlive and casts NCT Mark, Henry, RV, SNSD Sunny and other artists. So much fun collab and song making reality show.

RBB is one of the hardest songs in kpop, not by choreography but the way you need execute the large and tiring movements perfectly with those killing notes and being stable at the same time, the stamina needed for this performance is on another level not gonna lie☺️ no one does it like RedVelvet!!!
