Which is why that line was funny.

Mega Man X is one of the greatest improvements to a series ever.
Knight Warrior Not realy the only 3 good ones were X1, X2, and X4, the rest besides X7 were mediocer to OK in quality, X7 was flaming garbage and the series looks bad when compared to the much better much harder but still fair Zero series and those games follow up the ZX series. Overal most people only have everplayed and talk about X1 and it like MM2 is Overrated and overhyped!

Although the reason for Lumine being evil is because Sigma is evil, so technically it's Sigma's fault
Just one final boss after defeating Sigma doesn’t make that huge of a difference. I’d say the only that handled things differently regarding the antagonist is the rpg.

Definitely a good game. Gladly would have taken command mission over Mega Man X7...
It also had NOTHING to do with Sigma. Sure, they had to do the equivalent of putting in Evil Energy into the setting, but I guess that's what it takes for the main villain to not be Sigma.

The Megaman X series was great! Playing it on the PS1 and PS2 was fun
I enjoyed it on the SNES & PS1. Played the collection on the PS2. Plan on purchasing the collections once more on the Switch or PS4.

I owned both on PS2, but I couldn't even finish the first level of X 7. I beat every other megaman game I've played. I just couldn't stand X 7. I bought for like 5 bucks or so, somethnig really cheap, and I still felt ripped off. I used have beef with X 6, but after playing X 7 all was forgiven as it's actually playable. X 8 however was actually really good, and I enjoyed playing it. I agree the damage was done, and capcom stopped there. It's too bad, as I feel like they finnally had gotten past Sigma as a villain, but we never got to see what was next.

Oh yeah, I played them all. Zero campaign in Mega Man X4 is probably the best side scroller ever... if you ignore the cringe voice acting.
I did. Favorites are 4 and 5. X7 is garbage and 8 is actually pretty damn good where Sigma isn't the final boss thank god.
iThinkz I did and X-X5, mostly solid. X6 is fun if you're a suicidal masochist, X7 can die in a fire, and X8 is pretty fun, but only if you played the rest of the games cause there's A LOT of easter eggs.
I've heard good things about the rpg but I've never played it I personally love x2 and feel it is one of the best in all of megaman right behind x4
