It’s because everyone seeks out drama and typed in “black friday” and was expecting people bitching and fighting. People are fucking stupid
when I use to work retail all the TV's that came in for the Black Friday sales were just overstock reject models from the wharehouses that they couldn't get rid of unless they dropped the price by $100's and were willing to take a loss on. People think they are getting these amazing deals but they are just buying junk.
I agree, I dont ever buy anything on offer or deals unless i really want it i dont buy for sake of it, some of the stuff is a premeditated loss just to get the punters in but mostly its just junk no-one wants unless you stick a special offer star on it lol

Mikee Benut exactly. My store would end up getting a lot of the TV's back as returns because they broke down within a few weeks or less. Then they get refurbished and sold at another discount and the cycle just kept continuing

Marc Jones not always. But even the top brands will push out their overstocked models to dump them off on Black Friday. Its sort of like Spring Cleaning for companies to get rid of all the junk they couldn't get rid of all year

Alexandermovies I got a 55 in 4k tv for $300 and it is a good brand. I also got a $600 55 in Samsung 4k tv with an X1 included.

Today we waited to go out shopping so there were no lines. we did get over 600 bucks worth of cloths and other things for the kids for 300 bucks.. not bad..I will be getting everything else online. I just go because my wife likes to, but we are not the crazy people in line, we wait until later to go

Shawn thank you for this video. It was a huge help to show me where toshop. I was also looking for John Wick on blu-ray, but every store only had them in DVD. I decided not to get the DVD of it, and will just continue to look for it on blu-ray. I went Friday afternoon, though, instead of Thursday night. But this video was great. Thanks for the insight

If you are looking for movies and stuff, I think it is best to show up an hour or so after the stores open and the lines are much more manageable. Went to Best Buy, Walmart and Target this year and got the majority of stuff at Best Buy. Glad you found a few good deals.

In Indonesia, all we have are Christmas Discount, Ramadhan Discount, Back-to-School Discount and not all of the products are cut. Electronics usually have discounts during weekdays where not a lot of people go shopping

God Walmart and Best Buy was insane, I really wanted to see that lady drop that tv you were talking about, I can't believe she bought it anyway lol thank you for taking one for the team and showing me what movies where on sale. I think I'll just go online and avoid the madness.
It was a pretty sad selection at Wal-Mart here in NC. But I did get a copy of Clown on DVD for 3.79 and a DC animated feature for 1.97 .
Okay, these locations were busy, but by comparison to some of the crazy fight laced videos of the last few years it appears pretty calm, easy going and mild!

It really is. A friend of mine went to see it and dragged a load of us out to see it the next day even though we had no interest. I'm glad he did though because it was great!

I have never participated in Black Friday. Call me old fashioned but I still enjoy hanging out with family, getting our bellies full and napping. We sleep in on Friday, enjoy more family time throughout the weekend. The sales and the croweds aren't worth the savings and you never get back the time you could have spent with friends and family!!

Black Friday for the most part, Sucked here in Florida too lol! DVD's, DVD's, and more DVD's at Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, hardly any Blu-rays, and most of them were Crap movies anyway lol!

I am from Switzerland, here we don't really "celebrate I guess?" Black Friday. But I see there are some good deals, since I don't have a 4K TV, I maaaaybe would have buy the LG TV at 1:40 for 399.- (Much more expensive here), also maybe the Movie Finding Dory at 1:57 for my little sister :) For myself I would buy the Matrix BluRay Collection at 10:58, and Fast 7 :)

4K is really overrated. No dvd's are 4K and there's very, very little content that is shot in 4K. Hell less than 1% of porn is 4K to give you an idea of where the tech is at. I've seen 4K and 1080p bluray together and you can't tell the difference in 99% of cases. It's an overrated technology for the most part.

Went to Black Friday at Walmart here in Texas, pulled up just before 6PM, instantly people ramming carts into the back of my legs, I couldn't even find the Blu-Rays/DVDs, turned round and walked right out, they knew what they were doing moving it to 6PM

At target I got "creed"$9 , finding dory for $10, and the hateful eight for $6. My target was lonely as hell. No one in there.
That's why tv companies put in like 2-3 inches of foam all around the tv.

The Best Buy I went to had a maze of refrigerators to help shape the lines. It was sort of claustrophobic but better than fragile tv's imo. I waited in line for 30 min to get Bad Boys 1/2 + 300/300: Rise of an Empire, both for only $13. The deal was worth the wait. Nothing better to do and I knew what I was getting myself into. :)
