String Trios are even more dificult to write than the sublime SQs due to the difficulty of balancing only one violin vs a viol and a cello ... But then the composer was BEETHOVEN ! As the story the Opus 3 got an early acknowledgment, quite earlier than Beethoven himself who arrived in Viena with this Unique trio already composed. Bravo and many thanks!
