I turned off the sound of the introduction to rely solely on the Ivrit subtitles. I got the idea that the orchestra was closed out of performing in their hall due to the Israeli lockdown. Then I turned on the English sound and read the Ivrit again, which went by very quickly. These subtitles are so helpful in improving my knowledge of Ivrit.

Beautiful! Sound images of each instrument are nicely spaced and balanced. A large concert hall with no audience noise… in a way this may be an ideal recording condition. Kudos to IP recording engineers. Wonderful sound! Very, very enjoyable. Thank you very much.

These online chamber music performances are the orchestra's way of giving to the community during the time of the Pandemic. We are not able to perform live, hence we recorded in a "socially distanced" way for all of you at home. We do not usually sit so far apart, but the Covid rules at the time of this recording (during the first lockdown) dictated that we sit 2 meters apart from each other. Very happy that you enjoyed the performance! There is a new chamber music work released every week and many which you may have missed....
Wonderful to listen to you in the middle of the night. indeed a sad empty hall but my living room is filled with your beautiful notes...a strange blend of rationality and passion allowing flight from a world that has gone amok! Thank you. Audrey
