Hi Seph. No idea how old you are but am interested to know what music you listened to growing up. Or the music you heard your parents play. How have you never heard this before?? 😱 It’s great to see your reaction
George Michael is LEGENDARY. SO MANY SONGS AND HITS!!! He was 17 when he wrote this classic song and enjoyed a wonderful career as a solo artist, too. I don't like saying he passed away on Christmas day in 2016 at the young age of 53. To me, I'll always refer to him in the present tense. Truly my FAVORITE ARTIST EVER
There was another recording of this produced by Jerry Wrexler ithink that's how you spell it but George didn't like it so back to the studio and produced it himself it took 10 sax players to get what George had in his head it's on RUclips plus he wrote this at 17yrs old he was a genius I adore him, careless whisper was the first time I noticed this gorgeous man and loved him ever since
Great to see you enjoy this! More great saxophone songs: Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, a stone cold classic by the way, and Sting’s Englishman in New York.
Hi Seph, Well, you only have 30+ years to catch up on. George is so loved, always had been. Through the years George got better & better. His fans fell in love with his music, got married with his music, & yes made many babies to his music. George will touch your heart & soul. George sings with such emotion, genuine emotion.
This song is in the billion streams club… legendary song. He won his first songwriting industry award for this piece of work. The Ivor Novello award. I believe he is the all time youngest recipient of this prestigious award. The rest of his catalogue is going blow your head off. Absolutely stunning work he left us.
I love watching you discover this for the first time Seph, love your enthusiasm for this beautiful song. It makes me remember how I felt hearing it for the first time at 16. It never gets old! Beautiful song, and George Michael one of the greats.
First time someone reaction that did justice to this song. Love. I feel the same way about this song. Its a masterpiece. There will never be a song like this. George michael is a pure genius. Still miss him now. Pls react to Where did your heart go by wham
I also highly recommend George Michael's performance at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert with the Queen song ‘Somebody To Love’. George Michael is a fantastic singer.
George wouldn’t have existed without Andrew ❤ WHAM was Andrew in music form. George was just brilliant at bringing Andrew to life. And Andrew equally brought George to life. Without Andrew- George would have never had the confidence to be successful. Andrew taught him all about appearance and performance. Andrew was the theatrical one. George was the musical genius. ❤
This was 1984 Christmas disco at school stuff. This with Spandau Ballet - True, which you also need to react to. Great to be a teenager in the 80s, when the ladies were gorgeous.
This is incredible, the look on your face the first moment you saw George Michael. (0:55) Mesmerized by his beauty... The bass in this one is so damn good, especially in the chorus after George sings, "I'm never gonna dance again." Those 4 pick-up notes before he sings, "Guilty feet have got no rhythm." (2:30) Your beard here. This is what I'm talking about.
@@SephPlaysYou look absolutely radiant here. I'm heartbroken to hear you are struggling with illness. 😢. You do an amazing job of putting a good face forward. I know that is incredibly tough when you aren't feeling well.
Im slowly getting better but it's now the weight im at thats the issue. The medication they put me on made me gain 28 pounds. Im currently sitting at 266. Which is the heaviest ive ever been. So im now working on a exercise and diet "Spoke to the doctors just last week and they gave me the go ahead" this is the first week ive been fully off the meds. So hopefully i can get back down to a healthy weight by the end of the year 😀
@@SephPlays I've become very fond of you in a short period of time of watching your videos. And as such, I find myself caring a great deal about your well-being. I wish you much success on your journey back to health and fitness. May you be happy. May you be free from pain and suffering. May you experience all the joys this life has to offer.
Hey *SEPH* - I LOVE George Michael!!! 80's Girl / TEEN YEARS -- LOVE How You HAVE THE JUNGLE ROOM -- WITH GEORGE MICHAEL'S CARELESS WHISPER - LOLL -- Enjoyed This Reaction -- *SEPH* AND HIS WOW'S!!! LOVE IT....
@@SephPlays OK but my shots would BE - Water - Sweet Southern Iced Tea - Diet Pepsi - or Diet Coke OR A Homemade Fruit Greek Yogurt Smoothie ----- LOLLLL THOSE DRINKING DAYS DRUNK AS H*LL / YOUNG DAYS ARE GONE!!!! HAHAHA
Your right about the Greek influence, his dad is Greek and his mom English, George was only 17 when he wrote this song and yes it is about cheating. George was a very special and talented man he wrote and produced his own music, but he was also an exceptionally generous man as we found out after his death, he gave away most of his fortune , a lot of the time to ordinary people, my all time favourite George song is one more try
If you want to hear more songs by George Michael, I recommend the MTV unplugged concert 1996. You can't find it completely on YT, but you can find single songs. Freedom and Fast Love are dance songs, Father Figure and I Can't Make You Love Me are my favorite ballads from the concert. There is no difference in quality between live and album. An absolute banger is Killer/Papa Was A Rolling Stone from the Princess Trust concert 1993, bringing two songs together. Killer by Adamski/Seal and Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations.
A very good singer great ! You should listen at « Everything she wants » and « Last Christmas » from this period but he did lots of great songs too since after Wham. « Freedom » with Wham is great too. You could also react to INXS, MIchael Hutchence voice was amazing and a great frontman too…
The song was actually inspired by a young George at 16 going for a girl that he had a crush on for years despite having a steady GF. He dated both girls at the same time and he felt a overwhelming amount of guilt about it. He put that guilt into this song but made it a more dramatic scenario. He made it about the singer having his last dance in public with his GF right after one his friends has inadvertently spilled the beans ( the careless whisper ) that he cheated on her. They are in public so they must act like everything's fine hence the dance but clearly it's really not. The relationship is imploding right there on the dance floor and he can see it in her eyes. He's feeling guilty ( guilty feet have got no rhythm ) because he knows she's feeling both hurt and betrayed. He won't treat her like an idiot by trying to deny it and knows it's likely the end of the relationship. He's kind of glad they are in public so there can't be a confrontation that could be hurtful in the heat of the moment. He laments the loss of the relationship in the end and pleads for her not to go.
The first version of this song was produced by Jerry Wexler if I've spelt that correct but George didn't like it so back to the studio and George produced it hmself it took 10 sax players to get what George had in his head it is on RUclips this gorgeous man is a genius you are correct saying his eyes draw you in well you only have about 30yrs to catch up with his amazing songs
Do you live in a private island in total isolation (no internet, TV, radio etc.)? Otherwise there is no way in hell that you haven't heard this song before.
Close actually. I live in Rural Wales I know Last Christmas from my childhood but other than that not much else from George. Never really liked "Old" music growing up and much preferred late 90's and early 2000's music Techno, dance some of the boybands from the time such as westlife, boyzone nsync and such
Of course it's the cheating thing... What else could it be 🤔 I'm never gonna dance again, guilty feet have got no rythem 🤔 Hmmmm..... Come on man... 😂😂 It's not that difficult is it?

This was actually a Wham! song from 1984, although the talent of the group was obviously George Michael. He didn't go solo until 1987.

He went trough 10 saxophonists before finding one who could play that part just the way he liked it.

For me, Older is the best album of George Michael
I agree
Yes, for me too
Wow you said it sounded Greek - his dad was Greek- Cypriot and George Michael was actually born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou
You did enjoy till the end!. If you like slow George songs, highly recommend you "Father figure".
You should listen to "Outside". ;-)

I know the song Last Christmas as i've heard that a million times growning up. But i really should give some more George a go to be honest :D

The copyright on this one was insane. It took me many attempts to get the video uploaded 😭 hence why the blur
Please Play Lynyrd Skynyrd live Oakland Coliseum the song is Freebird thank you
No....the friend he cheated on was his lover. She walked into the room after he screwed some random woman is what caused her to leave him.
Nah he's not talking about his friend's girl....
Don’t like being lied to started out with wham he is a rock Hudson
