I was familiar with the breadth of Salesforce but never put my hands on it - in anticipation of a new job that requires using the platform, this was a super helpful overview!

Before watching this video i have a doubt that if i used to learn this technology then what i have to learn after few years?But surprisingly i have the answer(from this video) that salesforce will be out there for the next 10 years as there is no strong competitor next to salesforce.

Thank you for this explanation on salesforce. Because I only have heard of salesforce as being a CRM as the company I worked was using it in 07 on the sales side. I’ve been researching careers. I can transition into inttect, and I kept hearing people mention salesforce. My cousin is also a software engineer, and works in salesforce as well or maybe he works for salesforce. But I had to get more information since I keep hearing salesforce continuously.
Salesforce is like RDBMS, but running on cloud with additional bells and whistles, sleek UI and code abstraction for more user friendly experience. I had a similar concept in my mind when I was in teens and used databases for the first time, LMAO. I just wasn't as resourceful back then 😅. Great explanation David! Earned yourself a subscriber 😎

This guy cracks me up. And just an FYI salesforce does aggressively increase their prices every year especially knowing the volume we do. It drives me crazy, has I know this cost early on I would have had my org develop salesforce competitor. By this time next year we will be a billion in the hole with them…

I worked at sfdc for over a decade, good luck getting anyone to tell exactly what the app does, and does not do, just expect alot of fluffy bullshit pie in the sky marketing drivel about how its going to make all your dreams come true, just make sure to sign up for 3 years at a time or else you will get spanked on annual renewals, the place seriously gets high on its own supply and believe their own bullshit if you catch my drift...
You have amazing communication skills.
Would watch again for consistent laughs about wifey's anger level - and for the brief, but detailed salesforce overview. Sharing with my friends and family and the ChooseFI group if they haven't already seen it.
