Bourbon Hunting at my Local BevMo!

- Bobby and Parker from Bad Axe Bourbon go to their Local BevMo!, nearest to there house, to see what bourbon/Whiskey they can hunt there. This is California, so we’ll see what they find and compare to what you can fine in your BevMo! or large chain Liquor store etc. where you live. What are form large chain Liquor stores in your state? Or we can just compare the prices to what you can get wherever you can get it.

Merve! They actually do have a pretty good variety. It’s nice to have that, and a little bigger volume than I get ra small liquor store. Although I will support the small Mom & Pop first, within a few dollars. Either way the hunt is fun! That one time when you find something cool for a fair price! Cheers brother!🥃🪓

Haven't been to my local Bev Mo for quite a while. Prices were always higher than Total Wine when I did look. Thanks for the tour

CELAI! It’s nice have a little bit bigger chain store around that can fill the “need” gap for what I can’t get at my local grocery store or small residential area liquor store. It’s fun to hunt in all places! Cheers! 🥃🪓
Here in Southern California we can find buffalo trace for as low as $22/bottle. Albeit, there is not as much allocated stuff out here. Keep on hunting!

Thanks for noticing that. I’ve been trying to make it a point to do that. I’ve found in a lot of the “hunt” videos that I was lucky to see a price or if I saw something I liked it was just liked of a blur. I’m trying to fine tune i. Cheers! 🥃🪓

Can! Right! That Green Top Willet at 108 proof is actually my favorite in my Old Fashioned’s right now. Everyone is always talking about the purple top, rightfully so, but this green top rye gets overlooked because of it. Cheers brother! 🥃🪓

I always liked going to bevmo back when I was in California. Where I found my first blantons and eh taylor small batch. They usually have pretty good prices, only beat out by grocery stores sometimes and Costco.

@@badaxebourbon I have since moved out to Colorado, where I’ve found some good stuff, but not to the same level I used to find at bevmo. My personal secret is to use the app and look constantly for what they have at bevmo. Often they put stuff there that might not be on the shelf! I am a bit on the younger side, but I’m sure sharing a love of bourbon with your son is something awesome! Cheers.

Hello! What grocery store did you find a 1.75 of WT 101 for $23.99??? I’ve definitely been seeing 750mls at $19.99 around Tracy, CA which is where is looks like you’re from too.
Johnathan! I recently saw the WT1.75 on sale a Raley’s. It was a couple of videos ago. It believe it was a Memorial Day Sale. They have some pretty good sales. Lowest I’ve seen for a WT 101 750ml is at NorCal Liquor. Recently it was under $19, I believe it still currently under $20. Cheers brother! 🥃🪓

Actually found one at an auction yesterday, but it went for over $500. 1970’s era yellow label “Early Times” back when it was straight bourbon whiskey, instead of the blended version that exists now. Cheers!🥃🪓
