I own two paper trimmers. The first one is the one my mother-in-law purchased for me to help get me started making my own greeting cards. It was very inexpensive but it got the job done. When I realized how much I enjoyed papercrafting I invested in the Fiskar that you first showed and I am glad that I did.
Me too! I love all my paper trimmers. I have a few more in my collection but I don't use them in paper crafting. Only household/office work. Thanks so much for watching 💕
Just discovered you girls and had to turn on my laptop to come and tell you how much I am enjoying your videos. I watch you on my TV via Roku, so cannot just comment, but you both do such a great job. I have subscribed to both of your channels and have been binge watching you for two days now. Keep up the good work! Hugs from this Idaho Grandma.
I have 5 trimmers. 2 small trimmers,(one fiskers the other is a wescott.). The only reason I have 2 small ones is because I misplaced one and went out and bought the other. I found the misplaced one 6 months later.😂. Then I have the 12" fiskers and bought another by We R memory keepers, but only because it has the 12" scoreboard... The 5th is a 12" Swingline guillotine cutter. I use that for my chipboard and it also cuts up to10 sheets of copy paper, or 8 copies of medium cardstock. I use my 3 larger ones more often... The small are really for traveling... I'm really excited that you are sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so much Terre! I appreciate you watching. I do have two that I used in my home office and my classroom back in the day. I use them for any cutting that isn't my crafting. Then, somewhere ?? I have two small guillotine type ones that I used back when I sold Creative Memories and did crops! I really need to find those.....💕
Thank you. Just found your channel and subscribed. My stampin’ up trimmer always need replacement blades. I ordered the deluxe trimmer it was on sale on Amazon today. 👍🏻
I have the first one. I haven't gotten into paper crafting so much that I would buy the more expensive one. However, if I ever do, then I would probably invest in the second one. You all have a great day!
I have a Fiskars sliding cutter that I bought when I first started paper crafting. It’s a basic cutter, but precise and easy to use. I also have a guillotine/slide combo cutter. I’m not sure about the brand. It too gives a precise cut. It’s good for cutting chipboard and multiple sheets of paper. I use the basic cutter more often because it is lightweight and easy to move around.
Me too! I also have two rather small guillotine type cutters from Creative Memories that are from the late 90s! I have always loved paper. Thanks for watching 💕
I have a tonic guillotine, the small one. I really don't like it. I have an old Close to my Heart paper trimmer and have been looking at the Fiskar's for a while. I do have a question though, when you extend the arm on the smaller one is it nice and level? Thanks for the tool talk
Hey Kay Oh I need to get my paper stash out and create a journal. I love my paper trimmer, I have the same smaller Fiskar one and I love it. TFS, have a creative, inspired, safe week xoxo Sandy
I have a fiskars and cricut slider cutter. Also a we r memory keepers cutter/scoring mat. I prefer that one. I also have a guillotine that may be made by fiskars. I use it for heavy card stock and chip board.
I actually have 2 more big cutters I used to use in the home office and in my classroom when I was a teacher, but I don't use them for paper crafting, just other stuff. And somewhere I have two small guillotine type that we used to take to crops in the late 90s. LOL.💕
I found the 3rd one/procision trimmer today at Ross for 19.99!!! It doesn’t have the butterfly design so I’m not sure if it’s an older model or that’s why it’s cheaper. A flaw in the design maybe? I just tried cutting some papers and it’s perfect.
This was wonderful Kay! Thank you for doing this!
Thank you so much for watching 💕
Thank you for doing this, I learned about trimmers

Thank you so much Sandy! I can not wait to get my hands on some pretty paper 💕
I have a combination cutter/scoring board. Additionally I have a guillotine for heavy duty cutting.
It is so awesome to have more than one! 💕
I was using a Stampin Up cutter, but the company discontinued it, so I order the first one you showed.
I do love my paper trimmers! Thank you for watching 💕
I love my Stamping Up paper cutter. It has a scoring blade too. I've tried lot's of different ones and the SU is my favorite.

I think I prefer the more light weight one. It seems like it would be easier to store, not taking up too. Thanks for the demo it is appreciate it!
You are right! Easier to store, very lightweight. It gets the job done 😊💕
