Chelsea, you keep making these delicious meals and your husband will probably buy that pot set before Christmas. I love how you get your family to critique the meals. Your boys seem to really enjoy the new meals. Look forward to “Cook with me” #3.
Love the one on one idea for cooking with the kids. ❤It gives each one an opportunity to spend time with you and not be a zoo cooking with 4 kids, especially different ages. Looking forward to seeing more videos. You are doing a great job in the kitchen 😊.
So much sugar is sure a southern thing . We here in the Northeast don't have sweet tea. We drink ice tea with lemon and very little or none. You are a joy too watch and love how you explain why you do somthing and let the chips fall where they may.lol
I'm from South Carolina, I use a1 1/2 cups of sugar in a gallon of tea. Next time you make tea get your measuring cup out and measure exactly how much you use.
I love the kids' enthusiasm when they try the food, they are so adorable. My favorite is spaghetti, too. You are so cute cooking there in your new home .
Another fill me up recipe very cool. Story a neighbor asked my mom who's your favorite child with me standing right next to my mom. Mom thought for a minute then said the one that stays clean, causes no trouble and helps with chores. Determined to be the favorite I did all that was mentioned. Had no fun and worked hard that day. Next day I said mom is it ok if I don't be your favorite kid today she smiled and said ok. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you ❤
Love your cook with me videos. I struggled with cooking but have gotten better over the years. Spices have become my best friend when cooking. It looks amazing!
Great idea to build the kids’ life skills and I look forward to seeing each one of those kiddos in the kitchen and the market with their mama teacher! Breaking spaghetti is absolutely OK, we have always done that for ours and it makes for easier chomping. Your boys are so enthusiastic trying out new dinners, what a joy! God bless you, Chelsea, you’re a hoot as I’ve said previously and I just love watching you expand your cooking horizons so keep ‘em coming!!! Have a blessed week! ❤🙏
Chelsea try putting half a cup of vinegar in your tea kettle mine looks exactly like yours, but I clean it with vinegar and it looks beautiful afterwards I have the exact same teapot as you . Half a cup of vinegar and the rest water and let it sit for 20 minutes.
Yay! Another food video! Great job Chelsea! It does look yummy! I have always broke my pasta in half. I like it that way. Also I have favorite spatulas too. I have a very old one for non stick pans that is made of nylon plastic. They do not seem to make them anymore. I found another one at the goodwill just like it. They are strong and thin on the end, to flip eggs or pancakes. The best ones! Stuff does not tick to them either. I think that you are a good cook. You know how it is supposed to look! If someone makes food that her family loves she is a great cook! Have a good rest of your week!
Chelsea, you’re doing a great job with the recipes…seems like they’re a crowd pleaser! Everyone cooks differently and has varied tastes! I’d eat with you!🍝🍝🍝
I Love the cooking with each child, that's a very good learning skill for them. What great memories too that will make for them and you😊 Your such a good Mom.
Chelsea, Enjoy watching your videos. It looked delicious. Cooking with the kiddos will be great. You have a great family. You seem like such a fun person. 😊
Whoo-hoo!🥳It’s “Chelsea in the Kitchen”!👍 Like the idea of Alfredo in the sauce! Something different!😋 The boys are so sweet and kind to you! They rated that dinner to the moon and back!🤭🤣👍. 😇😇😇😇WOW! That’s a neat idea to have the kids cook with you and show US! I will be here for it! ANYTHING with your sweet family is a BLESSING!♥️ I use about a cup of sugar to the pitcher and make sure I add 🍋 lemon to the mix! Sweet Tea is a hit!

I thought the colors would go. They did Thank you. Blessings and hugs.
Really enjoying the cooking videos, you’re so genuine and relatable ❤ I use about that much sugar in my tea too lol, I’m southern 😂 The boys were too cute giving their rating ❤
Your Spaghetti looked delicious! I will have to try it, y’all are like my husband and I. He don’t care for Alfredo sauce but I love it. I’m from North Florida and I put about 1 1/2 cup of sugar in my sweet tea. And I also break my spaghetti noodles in half before putting in the pot, and also have a favorite spatula it’s a pampered chef and I’ve had it probably 20+ years. Chelsea you have the sweetest family and love watching y’all. Take care and May god bless you.
You look like a pro. The dish looked delicious. I think it would be great to teach your kids how to plan a meal, buy the food and prepare it. Great idea!!
Broil is actually usually the highest temperature your oven has; the heat is directed from the top only. Often used (for just a few minutes)to brown or crisp food.
And we were taught adding salt to the water makes the water boil faster, but adding olive oil to the water keeps the noodles from sticking together. Is that right?
I make a similar dish but instead of spaghetti, use Penne, instead of alfredo use 8 oz of ricotta cheese. Stir the ricotta into cooked hot pasta to melt, then layer meat sauce, cheesy pasta and mozzarella. Looks good!
Yes, I have a favorite spatula, a favorite, wood spoon favorite burner on my stove lol I love these cook with me videos there’s so much fun and I love pasta that looks so good. Look forward to more videos, sweet tea sweeter the better.😂
That looked pretty darn good. Gonna be calling you Martha Stewart soon. I think thats a fabulous idea to take one child at a time and cook start to finish. My mom never did that with us and i didnt know how to cook. I could bake though because the only sweets we got were ones we made. Lol
Fingers crossed it goes well! The only thing my mom showed me how to make while I was still at home was devilled eggs and mashed potatoes! 😅🤣 and no bake cookies
Chelsea i enjoyed this video just like the other one . I will be making this . I love the introduction music and I see you and you remind me of me when I was young lol 😊 when I married my husband we didn’t have much and it was the beginning of the dollar store back in my home town I’m from Long Island New York and we got few things from there including a spatula lol 22 years later i still have it and is my favorite I got things from Martha Stuart and got damaged but my old spatula i still have it lol . I was laughing when you talked about it. Can not wait for you and the kids cook together. As always I love your channel and your beautiful family. ❤
Oooh... This ACTUALLY LOOKS DELISH.. I've heard about this recipe but haven't tried it yet.. Thanks for sharing this meal...ok NOW for my REAL COMMENT..the way u JUST turn on the oven , I was like wait DONT U HAVE TO TAKE EVERYTHING OUT FIRST 😅😅😅 That's my life😂🤣...See u on the next one..💛🌻
Hi beautiful thank you so much for the meatloaf muffins recipe it's so good. Love that you're doing this content love watching your family just finished your sister's video ❤
This was fun! I can't wait to watch the kids with you! My aunt takes my 7 year old great-niece to the Dollar Tree and gives her a few dollars to spend. She picks out what she wants and also pays the girl up front. She's learning life skills too and how to pick what she really wants over "wanting everything😊😊😊"!
LOL!! 1-800-HUSTLE, where'd you get that t-shirt? Nice! We made Kool-Aid and Sweet Tea growing up and we only used 1-cup of sugar. Our friends thought that was too much. I break my spaghetti, too. It's nice to see a family that sits at the table for meals still. Stay blessed.
Chelsea what a great video. I have the exact spatula you are talking about and it’s my favorite too. My mom taught me to cook the same way and now when my kids or grandkids ask how to cook something and I say a pinch of this or about yeah much of that they give the “WHAT” look so then I have to try to give it a measurement. The spaghetti looks good so I’ll probably be trying it out. What a great idea to do with the kids. Not only will they learn but you will get one on one time. You and Caleb are such great parents and have beautiful children. Praying y’all have a very blessed week.
Yes 2 cups per gallon of tea , I still break spaghetti and I don't have kids at home anymore lol I have to try it with the Alfredo that looked delicious ❤ you can cook !!!!
sure do have a favorite spatula got it years ago when the first dollar daze opened in our area it is solid metal like heavy duty will never break Thankfully. also I have one of those meat smasher things I dont know what they are called either they are life changing you need to get one super easy to use and makes the meat fine use mine all the time.I have always broke spaghetti too We had 6 babies and even though they are grown and on their own I still do husband N I prefer it that way maybe cuz what we are used to lol I dont like sweat tea husband does and we use just as much sugar for his. Love your channel it is my favorite channel on you tube. you are so real>
I always make sugar syrup for my sweet tea. I love sweet tea, and I do equal parts sugar and boiling water, let the sugar melt then add it to the tea. Probably a cup of syrup to a half gallon of tea, because I try to rein myself in 😂. When I go to visit my grandson in North Carolina, I always get sweet tea because it's way sweeter!! I like your Mickey salt shaker... really cute! These cooking videos are fun! I break my spaghetti too Chelsea, and I'm just me eating here. That dinner looked delicious! Your boys are enthusiastic taste testers!
Lol yes they are! They like being on youtube 😅🤣 they say they wanna be youtubers when they get older lol along with a handful of other careers as well!
I’ve enjoyed your “cook with me” content. Glad to see y’all expanding your pallets and trying new recipes. Once upon a time I cooked for my family of four but now that my boys are grown and I’m single I no longer cook. I’ve always broken my spaghetti noodles in half. That’s a lot of sugar! 🤯 😂 I’m a southern gal, born and raised, but I now prefer unsweet tea, or an Arnold Palmer (lemonade/tea) mix. After I got married I went through my mama/grandmama/mother-in-law’s recipe books and made my own notebook from theirs. Looks like it was hit with the guys. Nice job! 👍🏻
Well it took 2 Try's But I watched, phone never rings 😅 LOOK AT YOU TODAY GF..SEEM already More Relaxed with Utensils & Everything. Looked GOOD FROM HERE!! ❤I'm not a Big Alfredo fan but I haven't had it but a couple times in my life. You just Share Cooking with You You & Caleb or with The Children. 😊 I'll be watching. God Bless & Stay Safe. Hello to All. Shoot for You know it You'll be A Chef!! Practice makes You able to eyeball or just know what food takes. ❤
That looked really delicious!! Not sure if anyone has given this tip or not Chelsea, but if you take a razor blade to your stovetop, it will remove all those “stains”. Took me a while to learn that, but it keeps the stove top looking new for years. I’ll be honest, I was scared at first. 🤣 But it truly does work and doesn’t scratch the surface. 😊
Hey Chelsea! I like my tea sweet too! I usually use 1 1/2 - 2 cups of sugar to a half gallon. And I use about 8 small tea bags to make the tea. I think it's a southern thing. I break my spaghetti too. Walmart actually sells their brand already broken in half, which keeps little pieces from flying all over the place! Now, for that delicious looking spaghetti...I love baked spaghetti, but sometimes it turns out dry. I have never thought about using Alfredo sauce and spaghetti sauce. I will definitely have to try this! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! Take care! 😊
Chelsea you are doing such a great job I loved this meal too I always break my noodles just like you do I love my sweet tea sweet too just enjoyed watching you and your kids are so happy with you cooking I can tell you starved me to death it looked so amazing you really do good❤️ Shelby
Yes Chelsea that is how we like our sweet tea 😅..to each their own ❤. Everyone has opinions but you do whatever makes you and your family happy, that's all that matters 😊. I will have to try this recipe out! It looks good. And I absolutely have to cook my HB meat the same way 😂. Can't have chunks of hb meat. Thank you for sharing!
@@chelseawilson2291you're so welcome! I forgot to add our generation and our grandmas and great grandparents truly cook from the heart. No measuring just until our heart is content and it feels right 😅.
Chelsea You are doing perfect! Breaking the spaghetti is how I always do it, and the sweet tea is correct...have to have it sweet. Mama is always right! 😊
Love your cooking videos. When i first started cooking i didn't do very well. But i just kept it up. And the more i cooked the better i got. The kids are so cute. What happened to the twins on this video i missed seeing them. I want to get that set of cookware your talking about. I have cast iron. And love it. But because of arthritis I can hardly lift it anymore. Looking forward to more of your cooking videos. Thank you for sharing ❤❤
Thank you! And they were just sleepy and needed a break on the couch, they eventually came in the kitchen and both ate about half of their plates lol Sophie isn't a big pasta eater, like Caleb 😅
Hi Chelsea, yes sweet tea with extra ice. Local mc D's has good sweet tea, a little further away, not so much. I asked for extra. ice and it's still not enough. I just made spaghetti last night for supper with corn, salad and garlic cheddar biscuits. May God continue to bless you and your family with an abundance of amazing blessings.
Great video!! I always break my long pasta for the same reasons, it's easier for the kids to eat and fits in the pan, but I am not Italian, so I don’t know why it's frowned upon!! Great idea for the kids to learn those life skills!! I have been parenting for 30 years, and this is one area that my kids say I never taught them to follow a budget, I tried, but I guess no one was paying attention?!?!
Hey Chelsea...I'm enjoying the cooking videos...keep doing them please...the dish turned out pretty...I love spaghetti & pasta dishes...as far as a alfredo dish, i like shrimp alfredo...I dont like my hamburger in tiny pieces i like it semi chunky...I too break my spaghetti.. ha!...& girl I live in Texas, you know we love sweet tea!...ha! I saw a saying about people who drink unsweet tea is just drinking brown water...ha! Ya'll have a good evening...
@@chelseawilson2291 ... Do yall have Olive Garden restaurants up your way? If so you & Caleb go on a date night there...their shrimp alfredo is so good...I don't like a heavy sauce & theirs isn't...
Yea it's about an hr away, I love olive garden!!! It's my favorite, Caleb always just gets the unlimited salad 😅 I like the chicken and gnocchi soup and I dip the bread sticks in it 😍😍😍 and last time I tried some type of cheese ravioli and it was delicious!
@@chelseawilson2291...all he gets is salad?...he cracks me up ...ha! I always eat the same things there...either spaghetti or shrimp alfredo...the shrimp scampi is good but I pick the asparagus out of it...I still don't get why they put that in there...ha!
We do not have air conditioning, but I feel like we are ready for some delicious hearty meals for the fall and winter after watching these videos! I love how you talk to us as you cook and you let us know what you're thinking. You are funny and insightful and I don't know if you ever watch Jennifer Garner's cooking shorts on youtube, but she has nothing on you even though she also is very funny. Yes, I break the spaghetti before I put it in the pan - in half - and then I cut it up and down and sideways when it's on the plate with the sauce. Not going to wrestle with my spaghetti, or worse, splatter it all over my clothes which is what would happen if I didn't cut it. I was kind of shocked by the amount of sugar you put in your tea. That seems like a sure recipe for diabetes, but I am a northerner. I have had to cut back a lot on sugar because my A1C indicator was prediabetic. Cutting back helped lower my numbers, but I still have a little ways to go to not have to worry about it again. When you were talking about frying pans, I thought, "You need Hexclad." Gordon Ramsay uses it. That may make you love it or hate it, but the pans are amazing no matter what you think of him. They have a 12 inch frying pan and a 12 inch wok with lid (the wok is a frying pan with higher sides). My son is into cooking and he got me a 10 inch pan first, but last Christmas I asked for a 12 inch with lid. It doesn't have such high sides like the pan you used but is great for us. You need the wok, I think, because you need the higher sides, and you definitely need the 12 inch size. You can use a metal spatula with it and it won't damage it. (Yes, I definitely have a favorite spatula and it is metal). Hexclad has a lifetime guarantee. My 10 inch pan is two years old and still looks like new. Never had a pan that held up so well. I was usually replacing them every year and a half or so because the teflon wore off or the pan didn't wear well. It may seem expensive - the 12 inch wok with lid is $169., but it will be the last pan you buy. Highly recommend asking for one for Christmas or birthday, etc. Check it out.
Oh yea I would love that but that is definitely out of our price range at the moment. Maybe at some point though! Thanks for sharing with me! Hope you have a great week!
Yes I have a favorite spatula lol, it gets under whatever I need it to. Seems like a lot of sugar and yes I also break my spaghetti cause I don’t like it long and hanging out the pot.
Love it 🥰
Also Caleb needs his own show 😂 he cracks me up!
Lol I'll definitely let him know!

Thank you so much, so glad you enjoy and hope you have a blessed week aswell
Chelsea it looks yummy keep doing this food looks like your kids love it ❤🎉
Thank you, I will 😊
Yes 2 cups per gallon of tea , I still break spaghetti and I don't have kids at home anymore lol
I have to try it with the Alfredo that looked delicious ❤ you can cook !!!!
Lol thank you!
sure do have a favorite spatula got it years ago when the first dollar daze opened in our area it is solid metal like heavy duty will never break Thankfully. also I have one of those meat smasher things I dont know what they are called either they are life changing you need to get one super easy to use and makes the meat fine use mine all the time.I have always broke spaghetti too We had 6 babies and even though they are grown and on their own I still do husband N I prefer it that way maybe cuz what we are used to lol I dont like sweat tea husband does and we use just as much sugar for his. Love your channel it is my favorite channel on you tube. you are so real>
Aww thank you so much for sharing all of that and I'm so glad you like my channel so much! We appreciate all the support!
Nice job! 👍🏻
Lol thanks girl! I wpuld so prefer not to cook either lol but this is just that season for me 😅
Love it will be watching 🥰
Thank you!
FUN
Oh I'd love this meal and yep I'm old and I break my spaghetti too...I think u do just fine Chelsea...every meal u have made looks yummy to me!😊

@@chelseawilson2291 , I have No Doubt You Will Do Super!!
Thank you for the tip! I'll definitely have to give it a try! They drive me nuts seeing them on there
Hey Chelsea! Take care! 😊
Absolutely! Hope you enjoy it too! Thanks so much!
Good stuff!
Thanks!
That pasta bake looked fantastic. Will definitely be trying this soon. I will use plain alfredo sauce, since my hubby doesn't like slot of garlic. ❤
Definitely make it your own! Hope you like it as well!
Chelsea you are doing such a great job I loved this meal too I always break my noodles just like you do I love my sweet tea sweet too just enjoyed watching you and your kids are so happy with you cooking I can tell you starved me to death it looked so amazing you really do good❤️ Shelby
Thank you Shelby! The trick is to let them swim a few hours and they work up an appetite and will eat just about anything lol 😅🤣
I've got to try this !!
Chicken alfredo with a caesar salad and garlic bread, is probably my most favourite meal, ever !
i only put one cup of sugar that is just rigth !
Lol thank you! ❤️❤️
@@chelseawilson2291you're so welcome! I forgot to add our generation and our grandmas and great grandparents truly cook from the heart. No measuring just until our heart is content and it feels right 😅.
Chelsea
You are doing perfect! Breaking the spaghetti is how I always do it, and the sweet tea is correct...have to have it sweet.
Mama is always right! 😊
Lol thank you!
Southern sweet tea has more sugar than tea! 😂❤That pasta looked delicious!
🤣 it definitely does lol we typically drink flavored water during the day but at dinner we drink tea! So its gotta be good lol
It looked pretty good.😋❤️🙏
Thank you
Hi Chelsea, yes sweet tea with extra ice. Local mc D's has good sweet tea, a little further away, not so much. I asked for extra. ice and it's still not enough. I just made spaghetti last night for supper with corn, salad and garlic cheddar biscuits. May God continue to bless you and your family with an abundance of amazing blessings.
Sounds great! And thank-you! May he bless you as well!
Lol yes I was afraid no one would be paying attention either that's why I'm doing it individually 😅🤣 they seem to learn better that way
That looked pretty good to . Hmm two nights dinner looks yummy.girl we know kids are no joke lol
Lol definitely 😅
Hey Chelsea...I'm enjoying the cooking videos...keep doing them please...the dish turned out pretty...I love spaghetti & pasta dishes...as far as a alfredo dish, i like shrimp alfredo...I dont like my hamburger in tiny pieces i like it semi chunky...I too break my spaghetti.. ha!...& girl I live in Texas, you know we love sweet tea!...ha! I saw a saying about people who drink unsweet tea is just drinking brown water...ha!
Ya'll have a good evening...
Lol that is funny! And ooohhhh shrimp alfredo sounds good! I don't think I've ever tried that before! Definitely gonna add that to the list! 😋
Lol me either! I hate asperges 😝 and yes all he gets us salad but he says it's good so whatever I guess lol
Get you one of those meat choppers it works great. At the dollar tree. I like my meat minced up in spaghetti or sloppy Joe, etc.
Definitely thinking about getting one, will probably make it easier for the kids to use!
@@chelseawilson2291 I didn't know I needed it till I got one. Lol
Your awesome 😊
Thank you! Lol
I only put one cup to a gallon I like it sweet but not too sweet I say make it like you like it ❤❤❤
"Cooking with Chelsea" volume 2 just started watching ❤ can't wait to see it ALL!! YUM
Hope you enjoy! Thank you so much!
I'm going to have to try making that!
It's pretty good! 😁
Is that green pot your boiling the noodles in a club pot!!?? Love those!
I have no idea, it was one of my mama's she gave me about 10 years ago lol
Yes I have a favorite spatula lol, it gets under whatever I need it to. Seems like a lot of sugar and yes I also break my spaghetti cause I don’t like it long and hanging out the pot.
Lol yes girl!
