In your bedroom I think there would still be a way to put up beadboard against your wall. Maybe build out your wall a little and then attach your beadboard to the strips...where the electrical panel is make like a hidden door...or attach a shelving unit of some kind that could be hinged. Maybe like a fabric padded panel. Your husband I am sure can make it how you wish it to be :)

Your bedroom as is made me think early American/early farmhouse and I like the simplicity. It is pretty. I am looking forward to your next video to see your bedroom reno. ✨️Here's an idea for your electrical panel box: Get Caleb to frame it out with wood, paint the panel cover same as the wall, paint, stencil, decoupage, etc. a design on it and make a matching piece of art on the other side of the bed to match. You will still be able to access it easily and it will be camouflaged. It will also still be visible incase of emergency, but not too much like hey I'm an electric panel, lol!
