    That's a great looking cabinet. I like the narration with the story and thought process about the projects it makes these videos a real pleasure to watch. The matt black finish suits the shadow of the bottle and as you said, matches the theme of the workshop well.

    Så fint att du visar missarna! Jag gör så många enkla dumma fel när jag bygger. Som att borra på fel sida. Rekordet var härom dagen när jag sågade det sista dörrfodret 167 cm istället för 176.... jag fick åka till byggmarknaden igen..

    • @TheSwedishMaker

    Great video. I have a couple of quick questions though, as a maker in Sweden: Where do you get flat top grind blades? I’ve really struggled to find them. Same goes for self-centring drill bits, I can only find them in imperial from Trend or something. Lastly, do you have any good suggestions for wholesale wood suppliers? Currently using Ceos in Göteborg and Fredricsons in Malmö. I’m based in Malmö so delivery would be required. Cheers in advance!

    • @TheSwedishMaker
      @TheSwedishMaker  Год назад +1

      thank you! I bought the blade from verkter.se (CMT 285; 250x3,2x30; Z40; 15°) - self centering drill bits was from Amazon but they are indeed in Imperial. And Calexico has a lot of wood and I mainly buy from them.

    Ha! Fan vad skönt att höra att det är fler som bara lallar i verkstan och kontemplerar över livet :)
    Men du, finishen du använde, vad var det för nån sa du och var kan man få tag i den i vårt avlånga land? Skåpet blev riktigt bra och jag gillar verkligen den matta finishen och hur ådringen lyser igenom. Tycker många gånger med diverse olika bets och allt vad det heter så ser det bara smetigt och tråkigt ut.

    • @TheSwedishMaker
      @TheSwedishMaker  2 года назад

      Tack! Ja, att lalla runt är livet :) Rubio finns än så länge bara att köpa via ADPN byggvård via nätet. Rubio själva kommer att lansera en egen hemsida vad det lider. Jag är själv ambassadör så jag är inte helt objektiv i frågan, men helt klart min favoritfinish av alla hårdvaxoljor jag testat så långt.

    its my dream to have a hang-out workshop too, I'm far from it now. I agree I don't care for the term man cave, sounds sort of mid-life crises or like some old dad that is sad about every other aspect of his life.

    You have a beautiful wood in ash and you stained it. Black is not a colour. Happy New Year.

    • @TheSwedishMaker
      @TheSwedishMaker  2 года назад +1

      As I understand it. On the light spectrum black is the absence of color but in the artistic world black is a mix of all colors.

    • @kevinronald4137
      @kevinronald4137 2 года назад

      @@TheSwedishMaker Black is a color which results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is the lack of colour which makes it so difficult to use. So much more pleasant would have been the contrast of white ash against your black wall.

    • @TheSwedishMaker

    Why can’t you use gloves on your tablesaw? I use them all the time and I keep my hands, warm and safe from splinters.

    • @TheSwedishMaker
      @TheSwedishMaker  2 года назад

      It´s because of the risk of getting caught by the blade and the gloves could potentially draw your hand into the blade. I guess if your not close to the blade it´s no problem. But there are always people commenting that I shouldnt wear gloves :)
