Although the Russians have overwhelming numerical superiority in manpower and equipment, this incident is an example of the downside of their doctrine of using that numerical superiority to compensate for poor training. An experienced tank crew would have taken at least one Bradley out, and likely both. And experienced field officers would have used combined arms tactics instead of sending a tank out on its own.
Doubtful. They used the gun in this ambush but they could have easily used a TOW had this tank not been a lone and easy target. The improved optics, targeting, weapons, speed and maneuverability of the Bradley has dominated against Russian tanks, in multiple conflicts, for over 30 years. The Bradley destroyed more Russian tanks in the Gulf war than the Abrams did.

The second Bradley came in from a different direction and hit the tank again. Are the Ukrainians using Bradleys (and not the most advanced version) as front line vehicles? If so, that has to change. Still, a tenacious use of support in a surprise dogfight. They took out the turret and optics, drone finished it. Glad the T90 was solo.
I saw the interview with the Ukrainian crew and the gunman credited the driver and his training including growing up playing video games.
Was an ambush set for the T90 hence 1 bradley at either side of the tank engaging it from both sides, well conducted ambush clearly made with overhead survelence, perfect use of the IFVs if you ask me.
lol, you think the bradley's won just because there was just one t-90? No, the answer is that the t-90 crew was extremely untrained and were just begginers and stupid. Literally most of russian tankers are begginers and most importantly, the way the bradleys fought against the so called 'best russian tank' was truly mindful and strategic. The two bradleys and the drone used teamwork. The drone told the location of the t-90, the bradleys went in from both front and backsides at a staggering range and then started blasting up the russian toy. At this point, the russian tankers are the ones who drived tanks by growing up from playing video games. Lol, russian bot just mad cuz his former country tankers just dont have the brain or the experience to fight or use a tank in tank combat.

@@funny_joke_goes_here4406 absolutely not. Bushmaster is barely capable of penetrating any mbt from the side and definitely not from the front. I don’t see any Russians on here talking smack about how the bmp is so great and the Bradley is a failure… wonder why that is… lol…
I mean the older BMPs are comparably cheap and useful if you just wanna transfer infantry or engage easy targets.
The 25mm rounds destroy all electronic detection systems on exterior making the tank worthless. Round didn't penetrate armor as we see three crew all run apparently unharmed from shrapnel (likely heavy PTSD from barrage of hits.) New replacement Bradley's will have 50mm gun....that will inflict heavy damage maybe to hull....

The bradley crew really went: "First, Discombobulate."

"One of Russias most advanced tanks" Is it? Is it really? Or is it just a refurbished T-72? 😂
No - the T-90 is also known as the Breakthrough (translated from the Russian!) A totally new design, not an upgraded earlier model. Not the latest - the T-14 Armata, which has suffered massive production problems with very few being completed.
It’s both, that’s all the Russians can manage

Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
T90 is operated only by best and professional tankers. Russian propaganda is trying to justify so many T90s losses by saying that T90 has been operated by untrained soldiers. Its the best and most expensive tank Russia has and untrained newbies would never be allowed inside of it
@@PerformanceYThat’s a very good analysis. Probably 100% true
This tank was not sent alone, it reached the position alone, the rest of the equipment was destroyed along the way by FPV drones
it's not only about doctrine. you don't realize the scale of the war. Most professional soldiers already died or were injured. it's a war of nations, not an army
The T-90 is relatively new, and the Bradley fought in Desert Storm. Our oldest winning against their best.
the t-90 survived 2 drone strikes and 2 bradleys, crew managed to escape.
@@Plevins So its not a total loss. But $2million of 30yr old tech drove away and the Russian crews walked home leaving $5million on the field. The T90 was destroyed by drones that cost about as much as an artillery round. So it was beaten by brand new tech, and 30yr old armor.
@@bobbarclay316 And so are leopards/challengers beeing destroyed by drones and at some point abrams too if they are ever allowed to go on the frontline...if a bradley were to do the same to any tank it would have the same effect, blinding the crew...simple as that

Under-trained orcs.
Apparently hit by a drone first so the optics were likely in pieces.
The full video shows two Bradley IFVs. The drone was there spotting the whole time, so the Bradley IFVs knew where the tank was and what direction it was pointed. From what I read, tanks have very limited view and one tank by itself is very bad situation.
The first Bradley seen the tank first and hit it. The tank was firing at the first Bradley. The second Bradley came in from a different direction and hit the tank again. People said the 25mm Bushmaster autocannon cannot pernitrate the tank's hull; however, the 25mm AP ammo going off probably caused damage to the tank's optics. They must not had TOW missiles or it was too close range for TOW missiles, because that would have been better to destroy the tank. The crew bailed-out and ran to the trees. Some time after a drone came to destroy the tank. This is the first I heard of the crew's fate.
