What’s crazy to me is why most of these ppl that hear someone breaking in go and hide in a closet or lock themselves in a room instead of LEAVING!! Even if that means jumping out a window from the 2nd story, ur chances of being hurt or killed are almost zero if u just LEAVE!!! Especially the guy in story #2- he was already on the 1st floor when he heard the screaming, which means he was not far from the front door! So instead of leaving & running down the street to a neighbors where he was pretty much guaranteed safety, he goes upstairs where he is now vulnerable to the intruder finding him. I just don’t get it!!!
They hide in the MOST obvious and first seeked out places in every scenario too lol 🤦🏼♂️ if you live in 2 stories, definitely climb out your window, close it back and chill on the roof until further notice. Guarantee success

Kinda weird the guy checked the room, left, went downstairs and then came back up and said "I know you're in there.." He related to Tweety Pie or something? "I tawt I saw a kid. I did! I did saw a kid!"
Hearing these stories I wanted the storytellers to confront the intruders & tell them to leave. But I don't know what would I do if there's an intruder in my house. My expectation, I would act tough & force the intruders to leave but in reality I can only think call the cops then run away.

Before y’all ask, yes it’s very common in Eastern European countries to have blurred glass doors all around the house. It’s socialist-era architecture. Half of my family’s from Hungary and we have em all over there too. Same in Czechia, at my gf’s house, etc etc. it’s actually pretty nice looking. Remnants of a now gone era of architecture (although USSR-era buildings themselves don’t look good)

That person that looked out and saw that man and ran upstairs.. needed to lock the door and put beds between the door and the person keep piling stuff up there. Open your window and call 911! Put large hard to move things by the door after you lock so no one can break in.
