Creepiest home alone story I ever heard was about that kid who's family left him home alone on Christmas. I think they all flew to Europe or somewhere and forgot to take him. Poor kid had to go grocery shopping by himself and even fended off two burglars.

Quick tip:
If your ever home alone, keep a few lights on in the house at night. Like ur bedroom light, a living room light and a kitchen light etc. Or which ever rooms are closest to windows visible from the street and or in the back of ur house. It looks like there is someone home and might prevent someone from coming in. And because u dont want to be that person in a horror movie that walks around their house with all the lights off and get such up on 😂😂
Edit: u dont have to agree with me. This is just something i do if i have a gut feeling or get creeped out occasionally if im home alone. You dont have to do it. I never said it would stop people from entering every time, obviously there are some sick people out there, but it could make the chances less likely bc its easier to break into an empty home and easy to spot an empty home at night. You can have ur own opinion, thats fine. I wasnt trying to start a debate or argue with anyone just giving a tip that may help if you get a weird feeling. Obviously, this tip does not apply if u feel someone is already in ur home. In that case, grab a phone, call 911, try to get out of the house, and if you cant go into a room with a door that can lock and find something to protect urself with. This tip is to make ur house look occupied. Like people are home and in different rooms around the house. That's all. No need to argue with every single thing people say. kind of like from the movie home alone. The robbers thought that nobody was home. When they went to the house the first time and saw THE LIGHTS ON and the music and stuff, it made them decide not to rob the house that night. and again, I will state since some people dont know how to read apparently, I said that if you are ever home alone and have a weird feeling to turn the lights on and that turning the lights on MAY stop someone from picking your house. Never said to turn the lights on if someone is already in your home, that doesn't even make sense to do. I remember my dad used to set a light or two on timers when we'd go on vacation just in case. Also, you dont have to keep them on all night. Just until your nerves go down or till a family member gets home. Ya'll need to chill.

Our guy in Story 3 is a legit badass. Not many people would have the sheer gall to do an armed tactical sweep of their property after seeing that lunacy much less be willing to follow through with deadly force. Either the story is true or just fiction kudos to him.

The sound effects in these videos are TOO damn good sometimes. I'm listening with headphones on and sometimes I can't tell if the sounds are on the video or real. Then during the last story, when he's talking about the creaking/cracking noise, my bottle of soda made a loud POP noise from air pressure change and it scared the living shit out of me 😂

Or you could just have a house key and lock the door behind you. However, the situation to why he left is also widely different to most domestic situations probably because the property is much bigger and he needed to protect livestock. If you're living in the city then yeah don't go outside, but it's much more different in rural areas.

I have a messed up home alone story. This isn't my story but it's one I fully believe to be true that happened to a fellow Marine I served with. For the sake of the story his name will be John. His mom was from Japan so attended ESL classes every week while his dad was in the Air Force and gone all the time. While his dad was deployed his mom would still go to her ESL classes leaving him at the age of 6 to watch his 4 year old sister for the hour she was gone at class. Different times back then, nowadays CPS would've probably taken the kids away.
Growing up John had this recurring dream that one of those days his mom left for ESL class he and his sister were playing in the back yard. A few minutes after his mom leaves he notices a guy wearing a clown mask peaking around a corner of his house looking at he and his sister. Terrified John and his sister run into their house and hide underneath his mom's bed. Not even a minute later he hears footsteps running throughout the house going into each bedroom. Suddenly the door to his mom's bedroom flies open, the bed is flipped over, and standing over he and his sister is the guy in the mask. He picks John up, slams him on the ground and that's where the dream ends.
Fast forward 13 years to when John was 19. While drinking a beer and talking with his sister he told her about this recurring dream. She froze in place with a look of disbelief on her face. When he asked what was wrong, she explained to him that she'd been having the same recurring dream her entire life as well. John and his sister told his mom about this dream and she explained to them that it wasn't a dream... it actually happened. She hoped to never have to talk about the incident as John told her what happened as a child when she got home from ESL class, but seemed to repress the memory along with his sister after that.
John doesn't believe the guy was ever caught but apparently there was a guy seen stalking women wearing a mask on multiple occasions. There were also several women murdered near where he lived, all of which were believed to be connected to the masked man. John thinks the guy was actually after his mom and wasn't expecting to find him and his sister playing in the back yard. He was likely planning to hide out there until his mom got home so he could kill her. John and his sister got lucky he didn't target children.

Just last night my friend was sitting on his roof, he was home alone and we were texting each other. We were in middle of a conversation and he texted me he heard some light banging almost like some one walking around either outside or inside the house, I told him to stay up there until it stopped. After sometime he said it stopped and he'll go back inside. That's when for some reason he knocked on the roof top and something knocked back. We were both freaking out and I told him to stay up there, a couple minutes of waiting he told me he saw in an old car that they didn't use anymore he saw a light coming from inside the car but went away when he looked away. I told him to go back in and he did through a window because the car was in front of the house. I told him to call his mom or any one that he knew but none of them picked up (it was like 1 in the morning so I can see why). I told him to make sure all the doors and windows were locked and grab something (like a weapon) in case and hide. So he did and I chatted for a while with him so I could try and calm him. 2 am his mom came home and we still don't know what was out there with him. (and yes he's alive ;-;)
Remember kids always have your guard up when you are home alone it may seem typical but you never know in this world

If you’re home alone and you leave the house, always yell “BYE GUYS ILL BE RIGHT BACK” that indicates that one the house won’t be empty and there will be more than one person inside.... even if there really isn’t anyone home. I usually just yell bye to my dogs and say something but either way 🤷🏼♀️ you’re right.... you really never know anymore

My home alone horror story:
I go to Tulane, and so I was in New Orleans during Hurricane Ida. The power went out, and when nightfall came, I started hearing strange noises in my off-campus apartment, almost like someone else was there (my roommate had gone home, so I was alone in the apartment). Then, I found that the backdoor, which I was sure I had locked, was wide open. Scared the hell out of me, but thankfully, no one was there.

Thank you for this channel… I came upon it in my algorithm on RUclips and I have not been disappointed yet… I have always been cautious of ppl because I grew up in a heavily gang populated area…These videos have made me aware to be aware of my home surroundings and things I may need to do to protect myself in my home… not sure if anyone knows this but I had a situation where I had to call the police for a break in and was told by 911 that you can text them as well you don’t have to call them they get text messages and can text you back if your afraid that the person in your home may here you.. You have to text them your address and what is going on… I had the police at my home within 10 minutes from my text message.

The second story in this series hit VERY close to home for me. Actually had something almost exactly like that happen to me when I spending a night at a friend's house while getting ready for the opening day of deer season. I had been hung over, but awoke very early in the predawn hours to a middle aged woman in the room that I had been sleeping in. She kept asking "is that you? Is that you?" over and over again and when I addressed her, very calmly and told her that I will try to help her, she saw that I was awake and moved towards me. I continued being reassuring and level, and when she placed her hands on the sides of my face, I placed mine over hers to let her know that I welcomed her presence and that I am not recoiling from her. After a while of asking her questions and trying to get her to remember where she had come from and had last been, it was finally revealed to me that she was the wife of a neighbor who lived just a couple minutes walk from my friend's house. She had been taking a new medication for her health issues and was having a VERY bad reaction to the meds. Somehow she had gained entry to this house via an unlocked back window that was almost level with the ground. However, when she had calmed down enough and regained most of her mental faculties, she provided me with her family's contact information and I called her husband right away. They came over within the next half hour and after everything had been explained, they thanked me again and headed back to their home with her...
NO police was called. NOBODY else had gotten involved. I simply do not trust "authorities" and I would try to rectify as much situations with my own resources as possible. At NO point during this encounter had I even been remotely scared or alarmed. Probably because I had a fully strung and readied 80lb-draw steel recurve bow and a quiver full of arrows with triple bladed broadheads right beside me, and my Ruger Vaquero .357 Magnum revolver was in a shoulder holster sitting on the bed, all within easy reach and would have taken less than a second to deploy if I ever needed them. The fact that she was a woman and not aggressive in her stance played another critical role as well. If it had been a dude acting aggressively and making a lot of noise, my reaction would have been far more different, that is for sure. The rest of the night was uneventful but since I had already woken up at zero dark thirty, with less than three more hours to go before I hit the woods as I prefer to hunt really early on opening days to minimize my risks of being shot by another dumbass in the woods who mistakes me for a deer, I decided to make a pot of coffee and smoke a cigar before heading out...

This isn't a home alone story, but I figure I should share this anyways, since this happened at home. My house is old, like, built in the 1800's. What I do know is that a little boy died in the house a long time ago. This happened to me a couple days ago. I was on my phone, talking to my friends. I always leave my fan on, one reason because it's summer, another reason is because I'm always sweaty. Anyways, all of a sudden, my fan just shut off, completely by itself. I accidentally step on the cords a lot, since they were right by my bed. My Alexa share's the same extension cord as my fan and phone charger. I look at all the cords, they were all tightly connected to the wall. I was confused, so I said Alexa's name just to make sure. She started listening, so I simply said, nevermind, she shut off. Then my fan turned back on, again, by itself. Another time, I told Alexa to play "Turn Back by Tryhardninja" she did, and I sang along. In the middle of singing, however, she said randomly: "okay, here's relaxing sounds" I stopped, and she said, "sorry, I couldn't find the skill you requested. if you want, tell me to list off some skills." I've heard many stories of Alexa, Siri, and other A.I's that are able to hear ghosts. Just like dogs can see ghosts. I honestly think my house is haunted by that little boy that died here.
