On this special episode of Print Pros, we will be fulfilling a Garmeo order for Creations by Nicholas, an organization that sells crafting kits to help raise money for the Triple Heart Foundation. If you are unfamiliar with Garmeo, it is a website where apparel decorators can pick up and fulfill orders for companies and special events.
For this order, we needed to decorate 50 white and 50 black youth foam caps. To start, we’ll prepare the design for printing using the LuminRIP software that comes with the Luminaris 200 White Toner Transfer Printer. Then, we’ll send the design to print in sets of 10 in order to fill up each page and make the process faster.
After all the pages have been printed, they need to be fused with adhesive paper using a heat press to create the final transfer sheets. Once that step is complete, all the individual designs are cut out so they are ready to be transferred onto the caps.
Before the final transfer, it is important to adjust the heat and pressure of your cap heat press to ensure the cap does not get crushed or wrinkled during the pressing process. After the cap press is adjusted to the correct pressure and temperature, all 100 designs are pressed onto the caps.
Once all the designs have been transferred, we’ll press them all one last time using a sheet of Teflon paper to seal the designs.
And with that, the order is complete! If you have any questions about the products used in this video or if you need help transferring designs onto foam caps, leave a comment below and we will be happy to help!

Hey men, love the expression methods the way how to do it, i have seen how long it takes to design / heat and press the caps process , isn't much time in 1day for a great finish depending on how many caps will be done.

at around 16:10, you can see the crease mark going down the middle of the hat... I've always wondered if there is any way to eliminate making any creases on heat pressed hats. Not just the middle crease but where it imprints the the entire shape of the press head... if that makes sense... Any ideas?
