The Anime of the Year for Every Year | The Best Anime Series for Each Year since 1963

My pick for the best anime of every year. Anime that ran for multiple years were only eligible to win for the year they debuted. Movies are not included.
I chose to start in 1963 because that is when anime began airing on TV (with the exception of Instant History in 1961 and Otogi Manga Calendar in 1962, which are lost media)
