Bare minerals are my favorite higher end brand! Quality products and most their stuff has a long expiration date.
I think I have some foundation, loose pigments and concealer powders that are well over 10 yrs old. Still perform beautifully.
I’m so glad someone is finally mentioning how good the bare skin concealer is!!! I’ve been repurchasing it for years and it is my holy grail! It worked for me through my acne years before/during/and after accutane. It was great when I had oily skin and now my dry/normal skin loves it just as well. I haven’t found anything to compare!

When I use the loose powder concealer on my melasma, I use a flat eyeshadow brush to concentrate product to get FULL coverage. Then, buff around edges to soften.

My favorite bareMinerals blushes: Secret, Hint, Crushed Velvet, Beauty, Dusk, oh I could go on & on! They are so forgiving and double as lip tint applied with lip balm and a lip brush. Ok, I have over 200 jars of the loose products... glimmers, glimpses, etc. I created a cheat sheet on how to use the loose minerals. The Gen Nude eye palettes are very nice, though.

Lipstick in Tutu -- lovely sheer peachy pink
Gen Nude eyeshadow + primer in Undress. I have hooded, mature eyelids and this does not crease. Light application is key.
Hey Emily! Love that eye look! Back in the eighties we used a shadow application that we called Vertical Shading. It was just like the halo method except maybe we went a tiny bit higher on the outside. We also used colors like purple on the outside and pink on the inside or, purple with bright blue inside. It's so much fun! 💜💙💖 😁
I have been using bareMinerals for 20 years! Love the versatility of the loose minerals! You can mix, you can foil, and any loose color can multi-task as eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner and lip color, esp the eye and blush colors. I'm a huge fan!

The concealer is my favoriteeeeeee! So skin like, does NOT make your skin look dry or bumpy. Just wish they had more shades!
I worked at Bare Minerals in college! I met my best friend working there and she later introduced my to my husband. Two babies later...I have a lot of reasons to thank Bare Minerals! We have similar skin tones and my favorite blush shade is Aubergine. It is a deeper berry with shimmer - I think you’d love it! My favorite glimmer eyeshadow is Grace. It is gorgeous!
I do not understand why their concealer is not talked about more, so so good!!

I think BM as a brand is under-rated.
They tend to release "safer" products, and go for the "your skin but better" look.
This tends to get drowned out by more OTT launches, with new products all claiming to be "new", "revolutionary", and "life changing".
Bare Minerals is one of my favorite brands. I have used and loved the brands for 20 years. When I want something similar, but don’t want to spend the $$ I go with Physicians Formula.
bareminerals seems to have a more "mature" image so i love how you brought youthfulness to the brand with this look!
BareMinerals is forever a favorite brand for me. Everything is so good, and sits so well on the skin! Can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed!

Especially now at work with the masks😊Rockin my bare minerals. I only use moisturizer and only use the loose foundation to conceal any blemishes.I love the well rested and original bisque mixed. I also love all of their loose radiance shades. My favorite shadow collection was their nude beach 🏝 collection which I still have and love❤️ I also loved the loose sun kissed all over shade☀️I recommend the Monterey blush and the chic radiance💕

Bare Minerals was the first foundation I ever purchased, I was about 18. This year, at 38 years old I went back to it! I’m medium 12, and love the original mineral veil!! I love that baby pink lip on you!

Love me some Bare Minerals. Have been using it since it's inception. Still use other stuff, but go back to my first love quite often. It was the very first foundation I could ever wear that worked on my skin. I had such a light complexion that even the lightest left a line. Now at 71 I can use a bit darker shade but still quite light. It looks great on you.

I used a minimal combo of Bare Minerals exclusively for SO LONG, as an easy to put together work look. When I finally started watching YT makeup videos, I might have thought I was living in a cave, because I found out how much makeup had exploded while I was just using BM. It’s nice to see Emily confirm I wasn’t alone in my devotion, even though I have emerged from the cave. Now I need to actually use the loose eye shadow powders I bought and never had the nerve to try. Thanks, Emily.
BareMinerals really makes such great products! In addition to the original foundation and gen nude blushes you mentioned, the moxie lipglosses and invisible glow highlighter are some of my favorites from the brand.

Good morning Emily and everybody! Bare Minerals long-time user here and so excited to see your video this morning! As I've gotten older and those pores and "texture" (lines & wrinkles 😝) have presented their challenges, unlike ~20 years ago when I started using BM, I really appreciate your demo this morning. Now maybe I can adjust my technique with brushes to more fully cover with my powder base, since pores have really become an issue in my 60s, and if not buffed in well, the powder foundation can just sit on top. Same with those pesky lines. So thanks for the education! Costco at one point offered many, many BM products and I got them all - face, eyes and lips; think I'll put my own full face of Bare Minerals on today, love their stuff and love you! ❤️
A couple years ago you reviewed the Bare Minerals Bare Sensuals, and I bought it. Love it! In fact, every time I see a cool color palette, I think, “I have all those in my Bare Minerals Palette.” So happy for that recommendation!

I love the bisque! I always use that to top the spot concealer I use on any veins or red marks on my face with a tiny eyeliner brush. It works amazing well!

Em!! Bare Minerals released another of those six pan palettes for summer, it’s on Ulta. It’s a rich and bright berry/coral shades. Soooo pretty💖. I really think you’d LOVE it;). It’s called “Floral Utopia” gen nude eyeshadow palette!
I have the rose eye palette. The darker shades are complex in that one too. They sheer out pinky. It's very interesting and pretty
My top pick from bare minerals will always be their liquid lipstick with the whipped texture. They’re creamy, highly colored, and they smell like chocolate cake 🤤

I'm still new to bareMinerals, and actually purchased my 1st products on your recommendations. You did that Ulta video around Black Friday, if I'm remembering correctly. I'm loving those products!
The thing I LOVE about Bare Minerals is how beautifully natural their products make the skin look. Your complexion is enhanced by the foundation, concealer, bronzer, and blush, but it really looks like you don't even have makeup on. Thus, the term BARE Minerals. Just gorgeous and, to me, like no other. The eye look is lovely with the pop in the middle, but blended so that you don't know where that pop begins or ends. Bare Minerals was a makeup revolution when it first came out and has not disappointed ever since then.
The small palettes are so beautiful. Wearing BM "feels" so healthy to me. Love BM.

Haha, I asked you to update BM makeup in your video 2 years ago and here it is. I also talked about the special edition highlight pressed in the shape of a crown. A little darker than I’d use but it can be used as a blush/highlight topper. Why do I save special stuff and not use it? 🙄. 🤣. I’ve really come into my own being able to BUFF not swipe. I love the QVC specials. Don’t see it as much since brands jump between QVC OR HSN. THANK YOU for the updated review. Much appreciated!
I have been using bare minerals for over 15 years! Every product I have tried (and still use) is excellent. I use the original loose foundation, warmth, mineral veil, bisque, well rested and faux tan regularly. My favorite loose shadows are nude beach and pussycat. Both primers for face and eyes are great! I stopped using the face primer because the pump always breaks!! I'm hoping they change the packaging soon! I also no longer use the eye primer because drugstore brands offer eye primers at a lower price that get the job done! Bare minerals make up brushes are fantastic! I have actually never purchased a bare minerals make up brush... You can always get them in kits and sets. My favorite place to purchase bare minerals is QVC. QVC offers awesome prices and kits that include so many extras at a great value price!

I love the Bare Pro concealer stick. It never creases on me even though I have 60 year old skin. Also, I love the liquid Bare Pro foundation because it locks down and lasts despite wearing a hospital mask for my 12 hour shift.
Hi, I’ve been using summer bisque forever, and I got the bisque with the blurring brush a couple years ago. It was a game changer for me when my rosacea flares up.☀️ mineral veil is the best.

The bare minerals gloss in Must Have is my holy grail lip product!!! It is the *perfect* warm pink. Emily if you haven't tried that one I highly recommend it!

As a teen, I had very acne prone skin and after so much money spent on dermatology with minimal improvement, my mom and I made the jump to BareMinerals and Shisedo. My skin improved so much. 15 years later I still love them!
Of all my individual products, I saved Queen Tiffany and Mother of Pearl shadows and I love them so much. I wish I still had all my blushes and other shadows. When my skin went dry, I said goodbye to my beloved Bare Minerals.

Yes love bare minerals I started using it way back when it first came out. That was probably 20 yrs ago shhh 😱. I want to try the gel foundation but now I may look into the stick version. I still use the mineral veil. Great video awesome products
My HG is Beige for Days blush. I use it as a two for one step as bronzer blush. We are the same tone. You will love it
I only wear powder foundation & Bareminerals original was my first. I had to stop wearing it because the bismuth in it made my skin itch (it looked great though). I love the Bare Pro pressed instead. The trick with powder mineral foundations is to buff, buff, buff lol. Both their loose & pressed eyeshadows are amazing. I used to wear the loose one in Celestial & it was so pretty. I've not yet forgiven them for discontinuing the 5 in 1 eye primer though (it came in different colours & had spf) & I think they are now also discontinuing the Invisible bronze bronzer, which is my favourite. Really great brand. Emma x

Then RUclips came along and I strayed, trying many, many other foundations. Thanks for this video and the reminder to use my BM. Take Care!
oooh, I am definately going to try the Copper eyeshadow palette! That green shade is calling my name! My favorite products from Bare Minerals are, the BarePro foundation, Bare pro concealer (MUST) the bounce and blur blushes and their Skin Longevity serum. I am really curious about trying the powder foundation for my neck to match the BarePro foundation I use on my face!
I hated makeup until my late 20s and I discovered Bare Minerals on QVC, that was in the Leslie Blodgett days. I am 47, and I have heard more than once over 40, the original foundation does not work on the skin. I still wear it 90% of the time with no problems. My skin still leans toward oily though, so maybe that helps.
I also like the stick, but the lightest shade "opal," is a little too dark for me, I wish they had something comparable to "fair" in the original foundation. The stick does have preservatives and is not a true mineral foundation like the original.
The peripheral products: Mineral Veil, I prefer the original. Eyeshadow, I still love their loose eye shadows, but they are basically only available online now. I hope they make a come back because it seems minimal looks are getting more popular again. Lipstick, I used to love the Gen Nude liquid lip in the color XYZ, they still have the line, but discontinued that color, it was he perfect nude for me, but Bo$$ is close. I do not wear blush or bronze from any brand. If I were going to wear them, I would choose Bare Minerals or Beauty Bakerie.
Going back to bare minerals after your reviews and the Ulta 21 days of beauty sale. Forgot how beautiful their products are on the skin. I’ve struggled with liquid foundations and I’m excited to go back to a trusted powder formula! Thank you for sharing ✨💕
I love their original foundation, but it makes my face itch like crazy!!
I haven't used Bare Minerals in a while but their loose Original Mineral foundation was a repurchase. I cant recall but have you tried the Lash Domination mascara. I remember loving it. The wand was interesting because it worked best if you turned the wand as you apply the mascara. It gave nice volume and length.
I like their Lashtopia mascara as well. I got a travel size that came with a Bounce & Blur blush in a free Birthday gift.
