Yeah, I've heard a fair number of folks who forgot about the other ones (maybe just repressed memories from dealing with the Dragons of Nightmare too much. lol) so I thought it'd be a good idea to try and point out all the repeatable loot sources available before Dragonflight launches. ^^
Correct, you'd need to have done the Legion order hall or at least opened it to use the gates. There are numerous tricks to getting around faster but I didn't want to put too many extraneous things in since it was already getting to be longer of a video than I wanted, I try to keep under 12 minutes as best as possible since the long videos get boring/less people watch them. ^^; That and it's a super specific pointer, despite being very useful, which is why I included the Karazhan portal mention in Oribos even though you can get there with the M+ portal or the Kara ring or a Stonard mage port for getting closer to Kazzak.
Level 268 can be gained by grinding out battlegrounds. Helps fill in those low pieces you can't get upgraded. Buy them with honor and upgrade with more honor.
Definitely a good one as well, these are a bit more RNG but you can get pretty stacked over the course of a few weeks if you spend like 30 minutes a day doing all 4 of the old-school world bosses + the weekly Shadowlands Fated ones. My Druid only has like 2 pieces from M+ but he's already 273 just off the world bosses, double legendaries, and one crafted 262 piece. ^^
Thank you, Giasekando, I’m glad the video took off as well as it did. I was kinda worried it wouldn’t show up or be that pertinent but I think these are the easiest way for people to gear up a character without having to know virtually anything about Shadowlands raids or dungeons, which can be a bit daunting to get into this late in an expansion. ^^

I'm going to try to, the new professions coming with Dragonflight are honestly quite complex so it'd have to be a much more broad explanation, and maybe the professions I'll personally be working on I will be able to go into further detail. By the looks of it, I'll be going with Engineering and potentially Leatherworking on my main, with a couple alts on the side to be my gatherers.

Wowhead.com is also an amazing source of information where a lot of guides and general info about the game can be found. In-game, however, Blizzard has historically been pretty bad about explaining things to players, hence why there are so many folks that make guides/videos to try and help newer people learn more. ^^; Admittedly I have played since nearly the beginning, in like mid 2005, so I keep up on virtually every patch note/post Blizzard puts out on things. Having been a huge WoW nerd for forever is a big part, but also having a degree in game design doesn't hurt either in regards to wanting to learn/teach as much as possible about the game as I can to others.
Yeah the Korrak's Revenge stuff is still 164, I don't know if they'll even fix it at this point or not. I had an entire section about it in the original version of this video but they just don't care/don't want that many loot sources competing with pre patch even stuff I guess, I don't know. =/
I apologize for my ignorance, but I was looking at the loot tables for these respective old world boss and I can't see any itmlvl272 gear. Can you please explain more? On a side note, I have watched your videos for quite some time and I just wanted to say thank you - you are a boon to the rogue community its and have made it way easier for me as a returning wotlk player to be somewhat competitive
Yeah it's a bit weird but Wowhead doesn't update the item level drops from these world bosses in their database, so if you try to look them up you'll see way lower item level stuff. I guarantee you that the Anniversary bosses all drop 272 gear, as my druid that I barely ever play is already 274 between these bosses, making a couple legendary armor pieces, and the Shadowlands world bosses which all give 285 gear until the end of the expac. And thank you, Michael, I do appreciate the kind words. ^^ I'll have more rogue stuff up before launch, I wanted to do build guides for pre-patch but with all the bugs and weird issues between conduits/legendaries/covenant abilities that still aren't fixed, I just didn't think it was worth it. I will be putting together a leveling talent build before DF launch though, since that is a bit more of an objective-based video rather than what is simming/performing highest for damage.
@@fabledbandito5322 Yeah, some days are better than others when it comes to luck for loot drops, unfortunately. I usually run the world bosses on 3 characters each day and some times I get maybe 1 piece across 12 kills, but other days I've gotten 5 pieces.
Yes, I used it just this afternoon. The 3 portals should be to the right of the flight master on the 2nd floor of Oribos. The portal in the middle is the one to Karazhan, which is right near Kazzak's spawn.
I dunno man i killed all of the bosses several times (across the days the event has been running so far), they never dropped any gear. Whats up with that?
Just bad RNG, unfortunately, Exidrial. My druid has gotten probably 5 or 6 pieces (including some duplicates/same armor slot) pieces off of the anniversary bosses, plus a few from the Shadowlands Fated bosses too. I can usually go through a full world tour of the 4 bosses in about half an hour, which is pretty short for 4 chances at 272 loot and minimal effort (other than the dragons of nightmare. Those suck so bad but I want the sword off them for transmog still. xD)
Yeah some days I get 0 items on multiple characters, but yesterday 3 of the 4 world bosses dropped loot for my druid. Really hit or miss but they don't take very long to kill, maybe 20-30 minutes each day once you know how to get between all 4 of the bosses quickly.
The timewarped badges can from a number of sources, however the only gear you can currently buy with them is very low level. It’s 164 if you go to special Alterac Valley gear vendors in hillsbrad foothills, and 200 if you go to the timeless isle in Pandaria since it is also the timewalking weekly event right now. There are some quests in the Caverns of Time (the place you go to kill Doomwalker) and one of the weekly quests is actually to kill doomwalker and the other anniversary bosses, however the gear is just so low level o didn’t feel it was worth mentioning. You can use those badges for buying other stuff like mounts and pets and toys at the timeless isle vendor but for gearing a character it’s not useful. Any gear rewards you really want right now will just drop directly from the world bosses I go over in the video.
I guess the world quests in shadowlands you can see them but if you haven’t completed the zone main story you cant phase in? I can’t see the boss even when I join a LFG group
Hm, I'm not sure that should change anything, Steven. I've leveled/boosted multiple characters without doing the SL story and was able to go right to him. You might have accidently queued for a group that had warmode enabled, which phases the players to a world pvp mode of the same area? If you're hitting level 60 for the first time in WoW on that account, then you do have to complete the main SL story line which takes you through all 4 zones, otherwise world quests don't show up at all if I remember correctly.

If you're horde you'll need to find Zurvan: www.wowhead.com/npc=141584/zurvan (He's in Dazar'alor, down near the port area. He's next to the old azerite armor guy) If you're Alliance, you'll need to find Tezran: www.wowhead.com/npc=142063/tezran (He's in Boralus, in the Tradewinds market). If you're like me, you might have a bunch of war resources left over from BFA that you can use for the rolls, and you can send those resources to alts. There should be an NPC near the ship you used during the BfA war campaign that lets you buy war faction related things, and one of them is a bind on account box to send your War Resources between alts.
Yeah I’ll be doing a separate video on the pre patch event but in terms of gear it is pretty rough. The Uldaman dungeon is 100% worth though since I found it very easy on the PTR and you have a guaranteed 278 weapon reward when you pick up the quest to go to Uldaman, which is pretty huge for a new character or undergeared alt. The 252 gear is quite a dissapointment though other than giving you some new transmog and maybe letting you fill in a couple pieces you might miss from bad luck on the world bosses, but you can kill them sooo many times before DF launch that it is pretty feasible to have a lot of their gear if not all of it.

If you are a druid and have the dream walk spell you can just take the portals to where the dragons spawn instead of fying there.

You can get a port to the Blasted Lands by a mage (the Alliance ones are right as you enter the tower.

Korrak vendor still bugged i guess meant to give 272 gear for timewarped badges and honor medals hope they fix next week when new class is live

100% blind luck, I'm afraid. I've had days where I get 1 piece of loot across 3 characters, and others where I get 4 or 5 pieces. =/

I believe you can get loot from them below level 60, though the item level scaling is really poor until you hit current max-level.
