For me, Izanamis purpose is more on filtering traitless enemies on mixed stages since she has area attack across the field. Darktanyan has way better offensive dmg but has quite little reach compared to izanami. Plus she has a conjure ability as a bonus and she has that GYA-

One thing that isn't mentioned in the video but I'd like to point out is that since she's a legend rare and getting a specific uber in fest is very low chance, you have about TRIPLE chance of getting her compared to a specific uber like Dark't or Dasli. Her addition alone boosts your chance of getting a strong anti-traitless. I'm sure a lot of you have seen countless people get Izanagi really easily compared to other fests and that is going to happen again with Izanami. With Izanagi being a top 10 uber/legend unit and izanami being one of the best anti-traitless, the fest banners are way better to roll on now than 2 years ago pre-Phonos. Ponos cooked once again with the fest units this year.
I managed to pull Izanagi, despite never getting any of the Epic fest exclusives. At least I have Asukali.
There are 104 ubers available to roll in Uberfest and Epicfest. The uber drop rate for those two banners is 9%. Here's the math:
Specific uber = drop rate ÷ number of ubers in the pool
= 9 ÷ 104
= ~0.09% to get a specific uber in a fest
Also, reddit right now has a lot of "I got Izanagi, guys" kind of posts.

- She have overlap range and that's only a 1 width range and that's if the enemy stand at exactly 400 range. I wonder what her TF would be.

due to the way movement speed works, it is VERY unlikely that she'll stop to attack while an enemy is in that 400-401 range overlap tho
Considering her multi-hits have nearly no overlap. It would be fun if she get knockback ability to potentially make all of her multi-hits hit the same target

nah its not comparable. Phonos' attks overlap which is the main power of his kit. This unit is just an anti traitless naala but without weaken

This unit is really cool but is a pretty heavy specialist. Definitely gonna be useful on mixed stages though, especially with that summon, easily the best of the ones we currently have imo
If we exclude the chibi form of FEST units, yeah she is the first non-wave-immune FEST units
I'm glad we didn't get Kasli 2.0, but at the same time, I'm sad that Izanami is really bad as a generalist. (I understand why though, good DPS and insane damage would obliterate any white enemy)

Already got izanagi so I’m gonna get izanami as well to complete the duo, really funny how a single target legend rare is better than the area attack legend rare
She fits well on mixed stages that has a lot of traitless enemies like henry or some duches and such since she can remove or heavily dmg them giving your traited generalists an easier time. And she has a huge GYA-
its like Musashi. Single targets, high atk rate. still does the job

Now that I think about it...she is the actual 'Dark Phonoa'...
Her range is more than enough to bully the nastiest traitless backliners like a Camelle or a Master A in UL. These two are painful to kill that even D'arktanyan and Shadow Gao sometimes struggle to hit them.

Aren't first 2 hits overlap? Considering enemy stay still as Izanami starts attack animation. Or is range math some sort of odd in bc?
I won't rely on that because of speed clipping. It's like asking to fight Camelle using Li'l Nyandam just because the latter outranges the former by 1 range.

On a stage with a a mix of traits and doesn't have a lot of traitless i would say izanami is better but if its a traitless focused stage the dark'tanyan would be better so it depends on the stage but izanami still serves her purpose

Welp I ain’t getting her any time soon.
She’s lame, I would’ve much preferred it if they made izanagi the “damage dealer” and izanami the ultimate CC unit (Weaken, freeze, hell even surges/mini surges to spread the CC rather then savage blows)
But overall we get an anti traitless killer which.. isn’t bad but we already have many other options in the epicfest banner and stuff like hitman etc. and she’s barely usable as a generalist.
Izanami is a Solid A+ Tier, izanagi is far better, but if you have no other options for traitless killers then she’s great at her job, especially because she’s a legend rare she won’t overlap any other spots. You’re guarenteed to get her if your seed gives a legend slot.

1:22 but her multi-hit...does...overlap once at ranges 400-401, which is very significant since her standing range *_is 400,_* meaning you get rewarded for meatshielding properly and keeping the enemy at Izanami's standing range of 400. Meaning everything mentioned on her DPS in this video is actually doubled than what was shown
Hey, have ever tried to use Li'l Nyandam against Camelle. He outranges Camelle by 1 range. Go try it and come back again.
if the meatshields fill the gap of Camelle's backswing then the Camelle will not move whatsoever and make it possible for Li'l Nyandam to outrange him for the entire fight if no hard pushing support enemies arrive, yes. @@PandaAsInTheCuteAnimal SoL chapter 10 first stage "Hot Bath Rock". There is a lone Camelle from the get go. Try using Li'l Nyandam on it. Just try it first. No theory crafting. You will understand the main reason why I didn't acknowledge Izanami's overlapping range.
I'm not wasting time, energy, and Cat Energy on that, so instead of being vague do you mind explaining? because my 4 years of BC experience of understanding this game all lead me to believe that if you force an enemy to not move via enough meatshielding/tanking then if Izanami approaches said enemy and neither Izanami nor the enemy get mispositioned, then she *_will_* hit the enemy twice due to her standing range, even if the overlapping multi-hits were only at exactly 400 range instead of 400-401.@@SilumanTomcatReborn
@@PandaAsInTheCuteAnimal fine. It's speed clipping. Unit and enemy in general moves 'too fast' to be able precisely secure area in 1-2 range. Despite outranges Camelle by 1 range, Li'l Nyandam almost never stands on safe area vs Camelle because of speed clipping. Another common case is Chill Cat (200 range) vs Scissoroo (199 range). You can check this more by watching LucasTheFourth video about Unit Speed
For the same reason, Izanami's 400~4001 overlap range is never practical. It could happen, but it's not reliable

Kinda. The full gameplay can be played offline. But you still need to connect to the internet every 1-2 days to update the game events

Best legend rare is Izanagi from UBERFEST.
Izanagi or Nanaho
Gaia or izanagi. I would go izanagi just because theres so many other units that can deal a lot a damage and effectively replace gaia. If you’re seeding you’ll get units that are comparable to gaia but theres no unit thats like izanagi.
Gaia has a lot more cons than pros and is more frustrating to protect than izanagi who has better bulk, insane dps tho single attack, shorter cd and a failsafe conjure ability that also deals insane dmg to traited enemies. Theres also lumina to just shutdown every and all alien stages

Against traitless? Yes, she completely outclasses D'arktanyan and Shadow Gao now. With Savage Blows, each of her hits can deal 178.5k damage with the third hit reaching up to 850 range. That's more than enough to obliterate Camelle, who is that one traitless D'arkt and Shao somewhat struggles to hit.
As a generalist? No, she has low dps: ~2.7k per hit at level 30 and that factors in her Savage Blows.

I'm gonna admit, really don't like the one summon limit that comes with being a conjure unit. The conjured unit doesn't seem worth it compared to just being able to stack a unit. Especially for the fest legends, they aren't exactly Dasli tier super meta breakers, they're already pretty well balanced units that fit in their roles. A one summon limit just seems arbitrary and limiting for no real reason.
But this limitation gives PONOS enough excuse to create bonker units. All Conjurer units, except fucking Socrates, have higher quality than the usual.
@@SilumanTomcatReborn I don't know about that. So long as units like Dasli (my beloved) and Phonos (My dude) exist, it would take a genuinely Nyan shattering op unit for me to consider A single limit conjure preferable to just being able to spawn multiple of them.
