Louie Lasky - Teasin' Brown Blues (1935)

One of five solo recordings by Louie Lasky. Two more of his songs can be found on YT. Two further recordings have never been issued. Lasky also recorded with Big Bill Broonzy and Washboard Sam.

Lasky is almost certainly the guitarist on Anna Lee Chisholm's 1924 recording "Cool Kind Daddy Blues". She identifies her accompanyist as 'Mr. Lasky' and the styles match. Chisholm's recording was made before the use of microphones, placing Lasky among the very earliest blues guitarists to record.
