Love the dual screen format.
The only thing that stops this Handheld is a lack of a Touchscreen. Let's hope Powkiddy listens to my Email. 😉
hmmm I would configure the screens a little differently, I would make the top screen bigger almost till it fills the sides, then the bottom screen below it filling what's left of the space, I would only make them even for games like Sonic Rush where you cross screens often.
If this had stacked triggers, hall effect sticks, a touchscreen, and the processing power to play PS2 and 3DS titles reliably, this would be the perfect retro emulator for me, as my favorite games are generally JRPGs so SNES, PS, PS2, DS, and 3DS are my favorite retro console libraries.
Did you order an RG Cube?
No touchscreen is a massive deal breaker for me

the trimui smart pro with 5" screen can put the two screens in horizontal position with almost al screen filled !!! Unfortunely there is still a little black bar in the top and under because the screen is 16-9 !
Are you using the default configuration? For some reason a lot of games for me dip into the 80s in terms of speed.
Good luck drawing that magic seal in Dawn of Sorrow with that joystick.
There's a patch that auto-draws those magic seals when needed, so is totally playable 😉

Try it in full screen. You need to go in retroarch setting

Seriously, how did they overlook a touchscreen. That's a deal breaker for a system that has touch screen controls in their games.
I would say that analog controls for Zelda is actually an improvement to the original. You could hardly see the screen past your stylus moving Link before.

Can someone answer: if I were to choose playing vertically on this handheld would I be able to do it? I plan on playing Castlevania and the magic seal drawing part really is worrying me a lot.
There's a rom out there that is set up for situations like this and does those automatically

The RG-ARC D, RG353P, and RG353M are good Single Screen DS Emulation Handhelds.
If they made a handheld such as this one but with an 8 inch vertical touchscreen display. That would be perfect for DS emulation. They just need to add on an additional 4 inches to that current display sticking out vertically while keeping the triggers and controls at the same dimensions and location. The triggers would then be about half way up the console near the central part of the console.
So basically a Nintendo Switch? Lol Nintendo won't don't, but maybe after the Switch's life is over, it will be modded into great DS machine.
What emulator is that?
Its cheaper to get used nds console preferably the dsi xl and pair it with an r4 card. Cheaper and fluid with touch screen

Two games for the DS I recommend are Away and Monster Tales for the DS.

sadly you need touchscreen for better compatibility, try playing puzzle league or soul bubbles... impossible.
