@@princessjess2915 Since they agreed that the sample may have been contaminated (and I assume here that that sample was the main evidence of the rape), couldn't they just argue that very fact alone is enough to exclude the rape kit from evidence? If there is a foundation for doubt about that evidence, how can it be used to convict someone? And as such, shouldn't they let the alleged rapist go for lack of evidence?
@@princessjess2915 thanks! these shows (and this one especially) make me doubt my decision of going to med school. I like to argue and I love the very idea of our courtrooms. But then, I'm not sure i'd be able to deal with so much paperwork and bureaucratic crap.
