@@SaltyrodfishingThanks, I subscribed already and liked a few videos. Great channel. Do you think they will sit at an okay angle in the 30 degree holders?
Two things to help you keep connected. Dont stop the boat like that when you get a hit. Keep it moving a bit. Second I don't like the nomad hooks, i change them out for twin hooks with much bigger barbs. Hook up ratio dramatically increased.
@@Evan721sxm i have one rigged with doubles , will give him a try , i'm not totally happy with they swim with or without doubles , seem to tangle a lot with my other lines , they seem to drift side to side - any thoughts ?
@@Saltyrodfishing I’m buying a house nearby in Rincon right off Sandy Beach and I love to fish so I saw your videos and I subscribed! Great channel i look forward to learning from you.
Great catch and incredible that you can hit that depth so close to shore. Beautiful area and I bet that was tasty!

how fast do you troll the dtx?
somewhere between 8 and 10 knots.
What gaffs are you using? Thanks!
I have a Promar carbon fiber its short like 3ft and a 6 foot Fibilink im still learning to use because of the hook angle.

Professional (and many non professionals) saltwater anglers NEVER use reels with level wind system.
That’s a very very fast troll speed….
Just fast enough to catch em!

good job landing it by yourself.
Bout 20 mph too fast on the troll
Ha. Only doing 9. Perception isn't reality!
