Do you remember the old Gex games? The password system was nutz. When In was little I was playing with my dad and out of frusttration I punched in random stuff for the password and got a secret level. Both of our jaws hit the floor that day :D Good memories
I love the fiction of this run. this man is running around enforcing a mandatory dinosaur bedtime, chucking grenades left and right as the park's Only Security Detail
6:53 They put a collapsing platform just before the level's exit? That's downright evil, like something you'd see in one of those brutal Super Mario World hacks.
From how he cut the footage it seemed to me that that collapsing ground was the actual level exit, with him dropping down into the volcano level from above directly after falling down and all.
Oh man, I remember this! We didn't own it, but the dentist had it in the waiting room, on a machine that switched through games after a set period of time, so we were always trying to go as fast as possible to see how far we could get.
This game i loved as a kid. I didnt have it but i rented it often. I remember when a lost world game came out for the Genesis it was the one game I remember may dad ever playing with me. These games brought me joy thanks for highlighting them.
This made me nostalgic af :) I also remember playing the PS1 version of The Lost World with my brother with the 3d graphics, blew my mind as a kid to see things from the dinosaurs' perspectives
I completely get what Lemon says about going back to a game that gave you so much trouble and demolish it in minutes. Back when little me started playing videogames by far one of my favourites was battlefront II on the PS2. I wasnt able to win a single battle without my dad at first and, because neither of us understood english we never really figured out space battles, but I loved it and sank thousands of hours on it, the only game I've played more than that is Halo 3. I went back to it years later when I was 13~14 years old and finally figured out what the heck I was supposed to do in space battles, not only that, I could beat the AI effortlessly, I had gotten better when I was still a kid, but now I just felt sad for the AI that kept trying its best while I annihilated it. Nowadays, whenever I dont have anything better to do nor anything else I want to play, I boot up my old PS2 and play some galactic conquest.
All of the raptors in the volcano is from the book version of Jurassic park. The raptors made a nest in the Volcano and would listen for boats coming to the island, then go run and hide on the boats to get to the mainland
I find that when I revisit games I used to play as a kid, they fall into one of tow categories. Those that became substantially easier because I have grown more brain cells to use in the time since my youth, and those that became much harder because younger me apparently had spider like reflexes and and the perseverance of a a zen master and I have lost both of those traits as I aged.
They need to license more than just park Sims these days. I’d love to see a survival game like Grounded or Subnautica, on one of the Jurassic World islands.
9:14 Close, but it's a good bit dumber and more convoluted in the movie. Nice seeing you play this game, I remember AVGN covering it. I always thought it was cool that you could play as the raptor. It's like in Doom if you could do a B playthrough as a rocket skeleton chasing the Doom Slayer, or play Resident Evil 2 as Mr. X.
the t rex sprites are hilarious to me for some reason, it always looks like they are going to tell a joke or something, looks goofy, but impressive for the time
For me the biggest trips down memory lane were "Gunstar Heroes" and "Contra: Hard Corps". I loved those games so much. Then for PS1 it had to be Twisted Metal and Parasite Eve.
Oh man, it's _THIS_ Jurassic Park game? Wow, I remember playing this one a lot when I was younger (having Grant's “AAAHhhh-” hurt/death voice clip permanently lodged in my head from how often it would play is proof enough of that), though I genuinely could never get passed the sewer level, so the only way I ever saw what the levels after it looked like was when my brother would play it on his own time. Cool to actually see this thing again for the first time in years.
this was the first game i ever pre-ordered. i saw the first jp in theaters 13 times, including on an imax screen (it was just the regular print blown up, but still, it blew my goddamn mind). this game was hard as balls when as i was 10. come to think of it, it's still hard as fucking balls now that i'm 38. the raptor campaign was far more forgiving (and fun), but playing as grant was pure masochism. love how the game included scenes from the book that weren't in the movie (jurassic park was the first real novel i read as a kid. i was in third grade. then i started immediately reading stephen king...).
I thought this would be the other jurassic Park game on the Snes, that game was awesome. Idk somehow I got blown away with the first person sections and the opening saying welcome to jurassic Park. Game was fun but I always seem to get it confused with this one
I know I watched this video when you first released it, but here I am watching it again for some reason. I never did figure out how to beat the game. Well, I managed to beat the raptor's part as Grant due to in game cheats. The model would be Grant but any time you took damage you'd flash back as the raptor for a frame or two. I also had fun with the password system. Get a password, then do stuff like changing zeros to O and ones to I, or vice versa and boom, new password the game accepted. It didn't always work, but I found one that took you to Grant's final level with max everything.
Playing these sorts of games growing up didn't teach me patience, it taught me rage. And that I suck at games. I had a Jurassic Park game on PC that I never actually finished, had some really frustrating sections in it, but there was a section with raptors near the end (I think it was near the end) but the raptors there were actually hilarious once the jump scare factor wore off. They just sort of jumped at the camera (1st person section) with their claws spread like they wanted a hug. Oh, and dinosaurs hiding in crates/on boats and sneaking off the island happened in the book, if you've not read it. As if you're going to read this comment on a 2 year old video.
Oh my god this game! This was one of my favourite games as a kid, I played the shit out of it!!! As soon as that title OST hit I lost it. IT FUCKIN' LET YOU PLAY AS A RAPTOR!! HOW COOL IS THAT!? I'll watch the video now I just had to gush a bit.
You can say this game is a ... throwback. Fun fact this was the first Game where I found the developer's cheat menu on my own no help. Any level. Could fly. Was awesome.
Never beat this game with Grant, though, aside from a horrible jump in the sewer levels that could game over me, I was able to get through with the raptor fairly easily. The T-Rex scared the hell out of me and always made me panic and screw up getting around it as a kid.
Ever played second game (Rampage edition?) as a kid. As a adult tried to play this one, but after the better framerate and controls and jumps in the second game this one just feels unplayable
Eyy, that raptor ending checks out with Crichton's book :D (spoilers) One of reasons why Grant wanted to come back to the main building, was to communicate with JP's supply ship raptors were on. To explain, before the T-Rex attacked on the main road, kids saw little raptors playing at the back of said ship. So with Grant's demise, the ship wasn't informed about it's deadly stowaway's, and maybe that dumb plot from dominion happened before it was even conceived xD
The game for me that took hours as a kid was Pokémon White. I recently picked it back up and it took me under three hours. I didn’t beat it for five years
Ha, I just found out that if you edit a comment that has a heart from the video uploader on it it removes it. I was just correcting a mistake, but I can see why RUclips would do that.
Really enjoy your videos. You know what would be kind of fun? Take a build on Dark Souls 3 and add a rule, the rule? Is it possible to complete a complete run with fat rolling :)
Remember the 90s? You don't?
What, are you...oh wait, that would make you 22.
*cries in old man*
you cant call us 1999 kids out like that 😭
I know how you feel
Being a '99 kid. Where did the time go?!
I'm right there with ya Lemon.
I had this game, and I am really amazed see you playing it 🤯
Do you remember the old Gex games? The password system was nutz. When In was little I was playing with my dad and out of frusttration I punched in random stuff for the password and got a secret level. Both of our jaws hit the floor that day :D Good memories
This is like a luau at Mel Blanc's house
These quotes blow harder than Katrina.
Finding the secret level in Gex with your dad is like playing golf at Jack Mickelson's ⛳️
@@CaptainGulasch the timsestamp is for the collapsing platform in the lava level, i dont believe that dropping into lava gets you into the next level
Holy hell this was the last thing I could have possibly imagined but I fucking love it
Oh man, I remember this! We didn't own it, but the dentist had it in the waiting room, on a machine that switched through games after a set period of time, so we were always trying to go as fast as possible to see how far we could get.

Lost world ps1 is still phenomenal
As someone who literally does not know what this game is, you've convinced me to pick it up and try it out.
So far enjoying it. Thanks Lemon!
I loved this game so much as a kid. I don’t even know how long it took us all to figure out that last fight though. Dozens of hours and play through
I loved this Game so much as a kid, thanks for bringing back some fond memories
Game: Everything hurts Grant.
Grant: oooh! o-o-o-oooh!
Me: Yeap, that's the game I remember.
Also, Cough *Trespasser* Cough.
I haven't played this game in years so nice to see a piece of my childhood
That Sega intro was the most metal thing I've ever seen
honestly this is my fav youtube channel atm, i cant miss a video
Ohhhhhhhh, the memories, they are coming back, oh God.
Leaving you a like not only for the excellent video, but also for the nostalgia.
I remember my brother renting this when we were young, I have never seen past the boat bit until this video.
just found your channel yesterday and I love the content man! glad to see someone else playing games as backwards or dumb as I do
So much nostalgia! I loved playing as the raptor in this!
Loved this game as a kid. The Visitor's Center music is a banger.
Looking forward to this one!
I called up the Sega helplinez back in the day. 50p per minute to get a 1274 digit level password.
I preferred the SNES version of Jurassic Park.
Played that game SO many times. I also loved the elevator sections. xD
The T-Rex saying “SEGAAA” is brilliant
5:03. Clever girl.
Great to see this piece of nostalgia from my childhood. Seeing it in the wrong aspect ratio was painful but still welcome content!
Looks fun getting to play as the Rapture too. Probably felt good to spill some strawberry jam over everyone for revenge.
I completely get what Lemon says about going back to a game that gave you so much trouble and demolish it in minutes.

Woah. That intro music was so nostalgic it hurt. Haven't heard it in almost 30 years!
I never made it past the first level of this game.
Moments like the Rocket Launcher bit are what tell me Lemon had fun making this video.
Nice. Those raptors are too numerous and too smart. Very entertaining. Thank you.
All of the raptors in the volcano is from the book version of Jurassic park. The raptors made a nest in the Volcano and would listen for boats coming to the island, then go run and hide on the boats to get to the mainland
I find that when I revisit games I used to play as a kid, they fall into one of tow categories. I came across you via your dark souls videos, gotta say I’m not disappointed. Love your videos and hope you keep up the good work
love the backlog vids keep doing them!
THIS GAME! I played this all the time as a kid. The play as dino was my favorite part, even though the final fight was completely unfair.
Ahh yes, my favorite “where the hell do I go?” game
this was actually super awesome. i hope you do more challenge runs in this era of games again.
This channel is the future of entertaiment. Love it.
They need to license more than just park Sims these days. I’d love to see a survival game like Grounded or Subnautica, on one of the Jurassic World islands.
Today,I was watching some dark souls playthrough, and one of your videos popped up. I appreciate youtube for letting me know about your channel.❤❤
Aw hell yeah, someone remembers this game? I never got past level 3 as either character, but loved it to bits still.
This game was legit fuel for the Super vs Sega back in the playground days.
Oh god. This game. Back in the days I played through until I got stuck in the T Rex skeleton vs raptors level. Never managed to complete it
the t rex sprites are hilarious to me for some reason, it always looks like they are going to tell a joke or something, looks goofy, but impressive for the time
I appreciate the unlocking of old nostalgic memories.
For me the biggest trips down memory lane were "Gunstar Heroes" and "Contra: Hard Corps". I loved those games so much.
Then for PS1 it had to be Twisted Metal and Parasite Eve.
Fun fact - those dithered lights would have appeared as transparancy on a CRT tv. Game looks great.
Damn that T-Rex at the start actualy looks spooky :0
Man this takes me back to Jurassic Park: Trespasser. Crazy af first person shooter with heavy puzzle/exploration elements
Oh man, it's _THIS_ Jurassic Park game? Wow, I remember playing this one a lot when I was younger (having Grant's “AAAHhhh-” hurt/death voice clip permanently lodged in my head from how often it would play is proof enough of that), though I genuinely could never get passed the sewer level, so the only way I ever saw what the levels after it looked like was when my brother would play it on his own time. you play so many games I don't expect, its quite refreshing.
this was the first game i ever pre-ordered. i saw the first jp in theaters 13 times, including on an imax screen (it was just the regular print blown up, but still, it blew my goddamn mind). this game was hard as balls when as i was 10. come to think of it, it's still hard as fucking balls now that i'm 38. the raptor campaign was far more forgiving (and fun), but playing as grant was pure masochism. love how the game included scenes from the book that weren't in the movie (jurassic park was the first real novel i read as a kid. i was in third grade. then i started immediately reading stephen king...).
Love that i found your channel omg, i wanna see a run of the jurassic park for the super Nintendo version. I remember it so well.
I thought this would be the other jurassic Park game on the Snes, that game was awesome. Idk somehow I got blown away with the first person sections and the opening saying welcome to jurassic Park. Game was fun but I always seem to get it confused with this one

Oh, and dinosaurs hiding in crates/on boats and sneaking off the island happened in the book, if you've not read it. As if you're going to read this comment on a 2 year old video.
Awesome! More retro challenge! Now Mario 2 Lost Level Blindfolded
1:58 lol they put the extra detail of the dart, too bad you didn't use any
Oh my god this game!
Now you have opened up the floodgates to "Can you beat X with only grenades?"
The Raptor on the crate at the end and a couple levels from this are actually from the book instead of the movie!
Man I had this game on the SNES. It was top down and scared me so bad I never finished it.
Never expected to randomly come across a video about this game. I'm surprised anyone remembers it.
I'm surprised to realise my memories of this game are crystal clear... like the game in my head and what it really was are 1:1!
Never beat this game with Grant, though, aside from a horrible jump in the sewer levels that could game over me, I was able to get through with the raptor fairly easily.
The T-Rex scared the hell out of me and always made me panic and screw up getting around it as a kid.
Maybe, you could think in a lost world run? 🤩 I do not think in a chalange... But wold be nostalgic as hell 😍
I remember playing this at a relatives' place as a kid. My mind was blown that you could play the Raptor haha.
Im only 24 but i got the hold of this relic. Such a blast from the past.
Ever played second game (Rampage edition?) as a kid. As a adult tried to play this one, but after the better framerate and controls and jumps in the second game this one just feels unplayable
Yes, yes, and more yes. I haven't even seem this video, but i will be showing this to all my friends.
Good upload, it was a Blast to watch.
Ohh I remember this game! I loved it so much but our controllers broke and never got replaced
Babe, wake up! The Backlogs just posted a run!
Eyy, that raptor ending checks out with Crichton's book :D (spoilers) One of reasons why Grant wanted to come back to the main building, was to communicate with JP's supply ship raptors were on. Ah yes
Grenades are just modern day fire bombs!
if you want another "grenade only" idea you could try symphony of the night.
The game for me that took hours as a kid was Pokémon White. I recently picked it back up and it took me under three hours. I didn’t beat it for five years
I loved this game. I miss playing it.
OH MY GOD I used to play this game when I was a kid and had no idea what I was doing oh man good times
I had this game as a kid and couldn't make it past the first level I can't believe you beat it with just grenades lol
Was the volcano level based on the book? The raptors were using the volcano as a nest before they figured out how to get off the island.
I remember renting this game back when I was a kid; I did not make it past level 3.
Remember playing this game when I was a kid
Beating games with modern firebombs is TIGHT!
Ah the nostalgia hit. Great stuff. I remember when I beat this game as a kid. Spectacular moment
Edit: and the velociraptor mode was fun too
Yet another Jurassic Park game that's seemingly actually based on the book rather than the movie. Raft segment, gas grenades, big Dilophosaurus...
Ha, I just found out that if you edit a comment that has a heart from the video uploader on it it removes it. I was just correcting a mistake, but I can see why RUclips would do that.
Memory lane indeed.
Oof, the memories.
Really enjoy your videos. You know what would be kind of fun? Take a build on Dark Souls 3 and add a rule, the rule? Is it possible to complete a complete run with fat rolling :)
Thank you lemon for making me feel very old
What an unusual game to challenge run, I'll bite.
Doctor said I should have tea with lemon... something feels off
Great video, still have my SNES that I play now and again. Really just cant beat these games.
Oh wow it's been so long since I've seen this Game!
Oh man I used to religiously play this as a kid
I played this sooo much as a kid. I still have the game yet no system to play it on lol
Man I never got past the third level. Still played this game a lot!
Im 23, And I played this game when I was 6!
This game was hard as hell man
