Hi, we will be visiting Yangon in 16 to 22 April 2014 and was thinking of taking the night train from Yangon to Bagan. How reliable is the rail system in Myanmar? I meant timing and schedule. Can you kindly advise what is the best ways to travel given our tight schedule? Appreciate you taking time to answer my questions. Many thanks ... grace
I would not take the train...it used to be good back in the golden days early and mid 80s...but people are taking buses (more comfortable than train but 12 hour ride) and airplane now. If you are going to be there for a short time I would use the airplane and minimize the transit time. it only take about
India shouldn't boast of its attractive sites like Taj Mahal. There are more valuable and attractive sites in Bagan (Myanmar)..... that excel Taj. A great heritage of humanity.
