- Fujimi Panorama is Japan's biggest bike park. With a ton of vertical and a bunch of trails to choose from, Yuka and I had a great time mountain biking there. We even met some locals to show us the way!

Hi I am a lotus guy! When I had a Fujimi riding yesterday, some foreign guys said that I watched your car on youtube. and they let me know your account. Your vids are awsome! Hopefully riding together somewhere in the world!
You speak english!! Oh, I so wish I talked to you on that day! I often didn't try to speak to people in Japan because I can't speak Japanese!
I love your car and bike setup, really cool!
If you have a chance riding in Japan next , feel free to let me know! It is also fun to have camping at Fujimi parking lot. I load a bike, gears and small camping tools in my car. Have good rides!
I love seeing people be enthusiastic about MTB in other countries. I also love your videos because you're not pretentious/elitist even though you're a damn good rider. Your low key, humble attitude and respectful demeanor keep me coming back.
Thanks glpf5! I try to keep it chill. I'm a decent rider, but nothing compared to the pros!
BCpov I would say if you aren't pro level, you are amazingly close to it. I'm a motorcycle rider, and predominantly street...though I have ridden in trails on adv/supermoto/dual sport bikes only a hand full of times. I did however get into motorcycles from being a bicycle rider since the age of seven, but it sucks to not have ever in my life ridden mountain bike trails. It looks like SOOO much fun, and I have no idea why I've never done it before. I have been recently inspired by watching videos of you and BKXC to give it a try at least...even though I am a complete and utter noob. I know how to ride a bicycle, but only in the road...and in a city setting. I am in my late 30s, and while I do know how to ride a bike...what I knew pales in comparison to the things you MTB youtubers can do. I have no knowledge of being able to push a bicycle to it's maximum potential, so it's amazing for me to see the things you guys do through your show. You might not see this, but you have inspired me even as noobish as I am. Thank you
Holy moly dude those trails in Japan are killer...sweet video dude love it =)
Thanks for watching man! I love those trails over there! The builder just messaged me and said they have some new stuff in the works! I'd love to go back sometime!
Always fun to watch you ripping the trails. 😃👌🏽
Ezekiel Malachi WOW, so awesome
Thanks for watching Ezekiel! I had a lot of fun riding there!
i last went to japan when i first started riding 22 years ago and have always wanted to go back and ride.
I LOVE JAPAN!
I LOVE MTB.
And watching this video where were mentioned both of my favorite things was very interesting for me! I watched this video with great pleasure.
thx a lot
What an amazing bike park! And your riding is so good too. Really inspiring! Cheers man :)
Thanks Lewis! Thanks for watching!
Sugoi nee! So few people there though! I would imagine bikeparks would be more popular in japan considering how many people live there but maybe it's on the rise? Thanks to content creators like you.
I hope it's on the rise in Japan! It's a small but vibrant community over there!
Must have missed liking and commenting on this video earlier. Still one of my favourite series on RUclips Eric!
I've been missing Japan actually! I'd love to go back!
That park looks incredibly fun. Nice Video!
Thanks EMB, it was a fun day and it was great to meet some locals!
'He's the real deal' that's awesome !
lol, I had no idea he said that until Yuka translated it for me. Nice of him to say!
Just stumbled across your channel, great MTB videos dude! I was in Hakuba over christmas for boarding. Subbed!
Awesome! Hakuba is such a cool town. I'd love to check it out in the winter!
Holy Cow! That was fast. 😲
Wide open trails are easy to go fast on!
Love these Japan videos, you have some serious skills!
Thanks Mark! I hope to keep improving!
OMG, super nice trail. Can't wait until July to go there yeeaayy
Awesome! Do you live in Japan, or are you just visiting?
I am going to visit Japan on July from Indonesia with Santa Cruz Indonesia
Eric "the real deal" Testroete hahah...great vid.
LOL! I had no idea what he said at the time! Then Yuka translated it. That was nice of him to say! haha!
I really enjoyed the video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching wasabi wei!
Love it that you picked up so many japanese words and expressions! :D
Haha, I should know way more! Yuka would love if I was better!
😆 it's a tough language to learn! So good that MTB is international ;-)
I like the Bike Friendship...!
Me too! Riding with friends is half the fun!
that's some exotic soil! ^_^ Thx for sharing with us ^_^
If your gimbal is a FeiyuTech one, I heard you can program it (with the app) to ajust the motors to the centrifugal force in berms, so the cam is not facing outwards the track in tight turns ;-)
I'm actually using an evo in this video. I've always had issues with that, but I think I've figured it out now :)
Cool 👍 I wouldn't mind if there was no gimbal at all ;-) ...I know, I'm one of the last ones out there preferring the good old chesty ;-)
Love your vids anyway! :D
i really loved it .
i feel like riding in these place.
You should try for sure :)
i will try my best
I love this whole Japan series! So much flow! Does anyone ride techy/rocky stuff out there?
There are a few downhill tracks that were pretty techy at wing hills. Unfortunately it rained that day so I wasn't able to film much. I got shown a secret trail in the south that was quite technical, I'll definitely post that later on.
Someday, I also wish to visit japan and do mountain biking. It love to ride cycle.
You got arm pump because you didn't wash your hands after going to the washroom. This has been scientifically proven, probably in Japan. Nice vid as always!
Lol, i was wondering if someone was going to comment on that!
My girlfriend and I noticed you are getting a lot more comfortable on screen lately...... My gf is from Japan and we have really enjoyed this series. Great job! Trails are what they are, but the experience looks amazing. A lot more trail networks than we thought.
I still have like 8-9 riding areas to post.. and there were some that I skipped! Fair amount of riding over there!
Nice video, i can relate about the bike not fitting, i have a 29er and it is a pain to travel with lol
haha, long bike is too long! I like it though :)
I went to the bike park yesterday it was my second time going there The condition wasn’t that good but it was a lot of fun!
Looks like fun, maybe not quite as much as fun I had opening season (finaly).
haha, snow finally melted? We're starting to get into the swing of things as well here!
Indeed. This season is going to be so epick, I have a lot of ideas where to ride. Just got back from a place where local riders created few lines on a nice, quite flat hill and it was awesome! I didn't knew I could fly that far and that high!
Great video! What camera did you use, and if it’s a GoPro, what video settings? Lack of wind noise is pretty impressive, was an external mic used for this? Thanks.
I'm just using the gopro hero 4 black and the mic that is in it
I use Jordan Boostmasters settings: ruclips.net/video/BsU26cuCe7I/видео.html
Cheers, happy riding
That bike park's black trails are our Enduro/DH blue trails here in Ontario. Should bring those guys out to British Columbia 👍
Yup, japan is definitely a bit more chill when it comes to technical trails for sure.
I get it though. Their philosophy in Japan is no skiding, which creates brake bumps, erosion, which can make a blue trail a black trail over time. On local xc trails and certain Enduro trails here, we discourage people biking when it's muddy cause that wreaks certain trails
your self control was amazing, based on your past I thought for sure you would be ripping the tape off those trees :)
ha! I'll do better next time ;)
I rode Fujimi 15 years ago back then they only had A, B and C courses so there wasn’t much to pick from.
How is it compared to Trestle Winter Park Colorado? I think you've been to Trestle?
What kind of camera are you using to capture your video sir? :)
You seem to be getting insane speeds down these trails. Would you say a normal rider can finish this park in a day?
Oh for sure. This video doesn't have all the laps we did but it does show almost all the trails except for the green one. Looking at strava we did 10 laps that day.
Agreed. Until last year the trails were named just A, B, C and D, and four laps would cover the whole park. Last year they split them up into much smaller parts with the numbers, but in a morning you can ride every trail once if you want.
This year they say there are expanding so you'll need three days !!!!!! I can't wait!
Thats cool! I have to go back then!
I like Fijimi panorama.
I watched a video when you said your real axle was broken etc... So evil sent you the blue bike. Did you buy It, still have it or rent it?
This video is so exciting that I decide to start downhill ! thanks!
p.s.
If you reply me, call me “mr.panda”
Thats Great! Have fun Mr. Panda!
Are u taking this year BC bike race ?
Nope, but I will be racing some enduros!
Are you?
What gimbal you use?
Hey Enduro Force, I use an EVO ss
BCpov ok, thanks ;D
what helmet are you using here?
Bell super half lid. Normally i'd have a full face, but they're kinda hard to travel with!
Can you just drop by and rent a full suspension bike for the day?
yeah well that looks exciting but its still just biking on the ground, as instead of in-between high rise buildings
nice bro
Thanks Cristobal!
I just constantly hear the front tire leaking.
ha, ya? I didn't notice.
Chemic trail's in Japan.
1:19 - 1:23
You need to learn more Japanese. And I need to learn more also. haha :D
Haha! my Japanese is terrible! I know like 3 words. Luckily most Japanese know more than 3 words of english!
looks like a waste of elevations. looks like a fireroad all the way down lol
Bike Check PLEASE
aaaaaahhhhh! I really need to do this don't I...
girst
Nice!
I'm very surprised that all the young people in your videos cannot speak english. Is that not so common in Japanese to know English?
Most Japanese know a bit, but it's very difficult for them to learn as English has many different sounds that are not used in Japanese. Additionally, the grammar between the 2 languages is very different.
You didn't wash your hands. 😤
Very keen eyes!
Nice ! Thank You for the inspiration ! Fujimi Panorama Park has just announced new trails for the 2018 season, and they even state 3 days will be needed to ride them all... So, be back soon ?
Reeeaaaaally? I guess I have to go back at some point! Maybe someone in Japan can sponsor me next time ;)
I hope to see you soon there with your lovely wife ! Here is the Announcement on their FB page: [We have some exciting news this coming year.
Fujimi Panorama MTB Park will be building brand new trails suited for all skill levels!
Trails with completely new alignments will be designed by Yuta Urashima, a trail-builder with experience in Australia and New Zealand.
His work has been involved in Blue Derby (Australia), Christchurch Adventure Park, and Crankworx Rotorua 2017 (New Zealand).
Our concept is to provide world-class trails, both in quality and size, where you'll need more than three days to explore the whole park.
Stay tuned…;)]
Trails difficulty ratings seem to vary from one place to another, but how would You rate the black trails - such as No.13 at Fujimi Panorama ? Do they feel like average diamond black trails You ride in general ?
I'd say they are easier black trails.. but still black. Definitely nothing even close to double black there though!
Thanks a lot for your input ! I rode Fujiten today for the first time this season. It was great ! Come back soon!
