Hippo charges 140 euro for 200gb for min 6 month. At that price you're always better swiching to local sims. France has unlimited data sim for 20 euros a month, Spain has 120GB for 30 euros. No residency needed.
That's great finding a WiFi giving you so much data without paying rip off prices. I remember in 2010 I paid £25 a month for a measly 5G. I never would have thought that you would ever get so much data now, for around the same price.
So according to their tariff, 200GB a month, that is 140E/month if you sign you sign for 6 month or 200E/month if you sign for 1 month. 50GB is 75E/month and 140E/month respectively. I am flabbergasted at the cost of data in Europe compared with UK. With Voxi (vodaphone) I pay £20 for 45GB/month with endless youtube, netflix, twitter, Instagram, TikTok. Not cheap to be a RUclips producer. I gave up TV in 2007, so no TV licence or subscription, RUclips is great entertainment thanks to channels like Those Weirdos. Cheers Dom, Missy, Rosie and all.
thanks for the info. I am particularly interested in the connection to an antenna on the roof. Do I understand that you can connect it to amplify the signal? I am testing another system at the moment and it is not really great for inside. thanks again
Hi, if you're taking it traveling, they do an rv version, so you can use it any time you stop. Or if only using at one point/adress in Europe, ship to your house and add the address for where you'll be using it 🏡💚
@@TheWildlandersOffGrid It was more the censorship aspect, I did the van build last year and thought about RUclips videos. Your definitely an inspiration, if only people could see the constraints in modern day times ❤️

Can you please be a bit more specific about how to get one of these spanish sims, thanks John
Sadly always capped and throttled unlimited is not very accurate 🙄
Hey man, this was a very very useful video…I accidentally ran into your channel, very useful, thanks !
Cheers Mark, glad it was useful, happy travels 😁
This is exactly what I need for my upcoming trip, thank you for the info, atb, Shaun
Pleasure shaun and happy travels

And it's unthrottled which is rare these days ❤️👌

Pleasure Noddy, not cheap but great speeds and unthrottled, but yep Yt production can be costly when mobile
Thanks for sharing , I’ll need one in the next few months 😎
Great for versatility if travelling to multiple countries and uncapped and no speed throttle
Thank you Dom. much appreciated.
All the best. Cheers. 👍🐾😎
Cheers Rob always a pleasure 👌
I’m so glad that you got your data sorted out!
Me too! ❤️
Thank you so much, always very informative. Wish you well with your new adventure!
Thanks Franco 👌

Hi yes it has micro connectors to connect to a booster or external dome
Awesome video thanks Dom .
Thanks and a pleasure 👌❤️
Dom, that should read £350 per GB not £3.50 or to be more precise £358.40 per GB
Sorry don't understand that
In 1:05 minute the correct example is £0.35 per mb, then is £3.50 per 10 mb. Or aprox. £350 per Gb. Many thanks for your video.
Is MB! No mb
This looks perfect! Thanks for this! Great video!
Pleasure not cheap but works very well 👌
Fantastic information thanks Dom
Pleasure Steve 👌❤️

I live in the USA and want to travel to Europe so I order it to my house and take it along ?

Extremely expensive, only if you're rich... but if you're rich.... your super expensive data plan you already got, will work World Wide...
Actually a very good price for full speed uncapped data
I'm just looking at their site. For unlimited data the price is 193 EUR per month. That's not good.
Not cheap but uncapped, no throttling and always with the strongest provider
Hi Dom, a serious question 😁 would you do the RUclips if you didn't need to? ❤️
We would as we've helped and inspired so many ❤️
Tbh financially it's not exciting!

Depends what you want to say really, censorship is sadly rife and on the increase 😔
@@TheWildlandersOffGrid I'd definitely have gotten a ban, I've warned enough people about the jabs. Unfortunately it's mostly fell on deaf ears.
Yeah feel you, we've mentioned we're unjibbed but leave that sort of stuff off the channel
Cool

Interesting thnx

Over priced! Waste of time.
It's actually not bad comparatively for uncapped unthrottled data on the fastest network available
@@TheWildlandersOffGrid No worries Guys, I would go with Starlink that's what I have ordered for my off grid place in France.
