Cyclops Docking is a great mod, but have a really bad bug, that sometimes, when you are not docked, you leave your cyclops and are teleported to your base, this happened to me when I was on Lava Zone

This is my favorite mod in Subnautica, I always went into a creative mode world, and went to the void searching for hours upon hours for any trace of life (except the ghost leviathan) Amazing mod! I need to see more of this. (love your vids btw)
Mods like these makes me wish I had an actual gaming PC to play Subnautica on. I would love to see one of those "100 Days Minecraft Hardcore" videos, except modded Subnautica. That would be soo cool! Also, great job on the video! The little edits made me laugh :)

It would be so cool if the gargantuan leviathan is actually what makes the safe shallows shallow. Like, the ship blows up and it wakes up and trashes any bases in the safe shallows or nearby. Then it just slowly crawls around the map instead of being this slick and fast thing. It would wander between the zones, only the head and frills on the head being super active for hunting.

I managed to go undernearth the Void floor with a mod that allows you to terraform when you make bases. You essentially download the Terraform mod, making a single corridor with a giant tunnel going down all the way to the floor, then you make another corridor connected to the tunnel, which for some reason allows you to build, and walla, you can go under the Void if the mod settings are correct!
The title gave me a idea. At the bottom of the void, there was the alien superior surveillance site, The precursors had invisible cameras at every known base. All viewed at the S.S.S.
Bruh..... This is just amazing! Wait is the gargantuan bigger? If that get into the game I will never come back to biomes that are close to the void😰. By the way the video and the game play are super good!
If there is a subnautica 3, a cool plot would be that you get stuck at the bottom of the void and you need to get back to the surface/to a point where people can rescue you. The fauna would be like deep sea-type fish. The gargantuan leviathan is clear so it would be perfect for deep sea.

I have recently been playing a modded game and been loving a certain shader pack called something like “gothic and dark shaders” (paraphrased) but you can find it by searching gothic in the nexus. It darkens the game but not enough to make it too dark to see, if you want a more atmospheric game of subnautica I guarantee you won’t see a leviathan until it’s too late.
Warning if you use the cyclops docking hatch, detach the cyclops, go some ways away, and then leave and rejoin still in your cyclops, you will teleport into your base in the same place you entered the hatch in your base, and you look up, and there is no cyclops there, happened to me while in the lost river
off topic but i have been thinking about a border between the void chelicerates and the ghost leviathans, i don't think the ghosts stretches its territory far to sector zero, going about 4km away from the map center would make the ghost leviathans retreat, it's pretty much empty ocean at that point. Pretty sure this is where the other big bois live.
one mod i reccomend is the freelook mod, it dosent break immersion at all as its a thing you can do in a real vehicle like looking at wing mirrors and stuff.

I'm gonna brainstorm this up rq. First off, a Cyclops moonpool would need an ASTRONOMICAL amount of space. You aren't placing this in the Safe Shallows or Kelp Forest, that's for sure. Building recipe: 7 titanium ingots, 1 plasteel ingot, 1 advanced wiring kit, 1 lubricant, 2 lead, 1 power cell Design: it would be similar to real life Submarine dock, with a rectangular shape and being accessible from the one end and below, with the entire right side being where the Cyclops docks and about half of the room being submerged. A platform would be in the top left corner with roughly the same space as a multipurpose room but in a square shape, and 6 "panels" to connect other modules and place upgrade consoles, windows and reinforcements. There is a ladder leading down to where the hatch is (would've been real nice if the hatch was on the top, that way it could instead be an extending bridge) The moon pool would have 8 anchors, one connected to each corner and the other 4 being in the middle, extending up to 100 meters beneath it. I don't know just how much this is gonna do on your base's structural integrity but it's definitely at least triple that of the ordinary moon pool. EDIT: just some things I forgot to mention 1: the advanced wiring kit and power cell are in the recipe because there is a pre-installed fabricator that allows you to create Cyclops upgrades an even the Cyclops itself (and the mobile vehicle bay wouldn't be able to create it anymore) 2: the dimensions are 70 meters long, 30 meters wide and 45 meters tall, only 15 meters are above water. You'd also need a certain amount of leeway from the docking areas (80 horizontal, 50 vertical) in order to place it. 3: there wouldn't be actual docking animation, just the Cyclops' a.i saying it's docked 4: there is a second moon pool that you can dock a Seamoth or Prawn in, just for convenience.
Man this mods updates much more than the original game.

Yeah probably :) I'd imagine it's quite far to sector 0 from the crater and I don't think there were enough ghosts left to really fil that area.
