Her saying "It's not within me" to people that tell her she should date... that spoke to me! I know EXACTLY how she feelt/feels. I got out of an 8 year relationship a few years ago and I'm STILL single... I have absolutely no desire to date anymore.. As she put it? It's not within me!
You can tell she loves hard and she loves deeply and it's hard to let go and move on... Even when you know that the chapter is closed. We all take different time frames to heal. It's better to be single and "happy enough", than in an unsatisfactory relationship for fear of being alone. She sounds like a beautiful human being and it's wonderful she has embraced her ex's fiancee (and future step-parent to her children) in this manner. She really seems determined to make this blended family work and that is the healthiest mindset and approach one can have. But no doubt about it, it must be HARD. No matter how wonderful the other parties are. And she is so right. Don't take rejection personally! They don't even know you! Be grateful that they bowed out early and didn't waste your time and your emotional and physical energy. I truly wish her all the best for the future.
She struck a chord with me there.... That's exactly how I feel, 10 years after my ex and I still don't want a relationship, unless Drew comes calling that is.....🤣🙏🏻
I admire her for this. It's my goal to never tie myself down for the rest of my life to someone. Fall in love fall out its all a part of life. People try and resist it in their fever dreams of forever. I was one of those. I'll cherish the relationship for the rest of my life but also move on and hopefully amicably.
Yikes if I can't imagine using a dating app as a well known person. I'd be worried someone might just go on the date to film or exploit you. I'm not a big fan of using apps but it's hard to meet single people as you get older. I give her major props for using it.
I have a hard time believing she REALLY used a dating app...that's a level of public exposure that most celebrities and PR teams would avoid like all hell, but if it's true, it's really funny to imagine coming across her profile. I'm sure most guys just figured it was a phony profile and moved right along.
Why is it that sucessful women intimidate men I would think men would want some one who is successful but it seems quite the contrary Drew's the best 🎥⭐👑💛✌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
So Drew needs a date? I’m thinking of doing a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" Frank n Furter type mad scientist invention and creating Drew the perfect romantic match monster by genetically splicing the comedy of Christopher Walken’s deadpan delivery in the SNL “Cowbell” sketch with Robin Williams' quality of material in his “Golf” sketch. Or, you know, sending Drew a playful snail mail letter, whichever's quicker.

The first thing I said to my wife when we started dating was, "I'd rather be in no relationship than a bad one." That was 32 years ago.
I have know idea why people slam her. She has been in the limelight since she was a kid. Pretty sure that is not easy. I like her.
I had no idea how wise and down to Earth Drew is. So wise.
The dating market is an absolute disaster.
Especially with covid
I'm single over 10 years. Didnt want to risk bringing some idiot into my child's life.
I've been happily married for 32 years. I can only imagine the horrors of dating apps.
i cant imagine the horrors of being married 32 years.
They’re terrible
Good for you! 😔
You were lucky. I feel like dating in the 80s, 90s, and maybe early 2000s were much simpler. Way before the onslaught of the digital dating age.

She’s makes a good point - I need to be less coy on dating apps

You don't want to date a guy who uses social media. It's not manly, it's for insecure narcissists.
Fabrizio from the Strokes!
