Always a great atmosphere when Bill Bailey hosts.
He is a legend, so quick witted in such a humble manor. I bet he hasn't even used the teleprompter and just ad-libed the lot

Bill Bailey is an absolute treasure! Everyone on this episode is great, and Ian wins the dancing with his Highland fling! On a side note, it looks like Trump is using a darker shade of spackle on his face now

@frontenac5083 have a Snickers bar sweetie. Some of us expats rely on ViVaHD to access such programs, and we take the time to comment and say thanks to feed the old algorithm. I suppose I could use a family member's contact details in England to get access to BBC programs, but as our country buys them in - a few weeks/years late, it's a waste of time for a topical news program. Anyway, cheer up, life can't be that bad.😊

Misery Merton didn't seem to think so - he's so incomplete he tries to be the funniest and rather than celebrate a better talent becomes surly - even worse if a woman is upstaging him .. gifted but brittle :/

That's a funny name, although it doesn't really work for the joke, which was people with names that suggest inappropriate behaviors. Her name is more of a noun than a verb. (And before someone points out that bone is a noun, it's not in this context.)

The XL version used to come a day after, but I noticed with these new episode that they are delaying them over a day. Did they change their schedule for these longer versions?
I fail to see how a plastic stopper, whatever its shape is environmentally friendly. At least cork is a natural substance, and doesn't turn into microplastics.
Also how is the classic popping sound damaging to the environment? Its not exactly gunshot loud.

27:10 "MDSE ST" is "Merchandise Subtotal". Since in the US we have to do tax separate they add up all the prices first into a subtotal then add the tax(es) on it.
Now of course if there are things on the receipt taxed differently (produce, prepared food, liquor) there need to be more than one subtotal and the appropriate tax rates applied to each. It does look silly, though, to have a subtotal for only one item, but nobody said America made any sense.
Then you have to remortgage your house for the tip because they can't pay the staff a proper wage
