I wonder if they have realized yet that the sand goes down first followed by the plastic and tarps last? I've seen a lot of DIY installers do it the way these people did who don't realize that the tarps only reason for being there is to stop weeds and grass from growing underneath the pool with the main reason for it being there is to stop heavy rains from eroding and washing the sand out from under the pool. Putting the sand on top is straight asking for erosion to happen. I 100% guarantee if you keep an eye on this channel (if they haven't done it already) they're going to have a follow up video later on pointing out their mistake.

It's a 12' pool. Throw the tarp down and fill it. Don't overthink it folks... I just put up my 12x24 ft pool yesterday (my third one over 10 years). and again I jus threw a tarp down on my somewhat level ground in my backyard. It comes out just about as level and good as all these people digging up feet of dirt and leveling blocks out... I did put the foam pads from harbor freight last time underneath and that provided a nice soft floor but wasn't cheap.

Need to dig your pavers into the ground. You’re putting way too much stress on your liner that way.

Im wondering how long it took them to realize the plastic and tarps go on top of the sand not the sand on top like they did.

@@Brad.W yeah that makes no sense either

@@justbeth82 I only know it's a big No-No because I have a neighbor year before last who unfortunately did exactly like these folks did when they installed their 16 x 32 Intex pool. They discovered real quick that it was a bad idea when their kids got into on a daily basis splashing the water out the sides that's when they discovered all the water from the splashing goes straight underneath and washes all the sand out from under it causing it to be very unleveled in numerous spots just after a month of daily use..
