Hello just check your video about the water fountain , does this help with the PH of the water ? I check other videos and said that adding a water fountain to your pool help keep the water aerate helping keep the PH levels. How is your set up is doing. I just purchased one from amazon. Thank you for you time and information
Oh I am certain it does without a doubt. Although we never have an issue with PH levels if we don't run it. Our pump is fairly powerful for pool size. We seem to have really good aeration. We do run the water fountain often though.
I don't see why not as long as you have converting adapters if needed as the mounting bracket is adjustable. Pump flow rate required is 1,200 - 3,200 gph
No we have not. Are you missing a rubber gasket? Check the parts and see if anything is missing. If not you may have defective threads, I'm really not sure. Use Vaseline also to make the tightening process easier
desde que tengo mi intex recomiendan no usar la bomba si alguien se baña,se usa esa hermosa fuente sin gente en el interior también?? Así no se la puede disfrutar.
I have one of those but my three way only works the waterfall sideways can you tell me why? The only difference is the waterfall is on the right side. It comes straight from the waterfall to the side on the three way. Then the one stright down goes to my filter pump. Nothing happens when the knob is straight down.
The valve for the waterfall is sold only on Intex. The pump and hoses are shown here: amzn.to/3Y3Holl and valve we have in the set up is here amzn.to/3OkjWgg
If you are talking about the "T" Valve then it is included with the waterfall and does not have a part number in the manual exclusively identified for that part. Let me know if you are talking about something else.
I have never seen anything like this for inflatable spas and in fact I googled it in a few different ways and I don't see anything showing up. Sorry. I guess you will have to get a pool to enjoy a waterfall like this one! 😋
@@moetij I am not sure what waterfall you have we don't have any brand called flowclear. Our waterfall came with the valve you see in the beginning of the video. I hope that is what you are talking about.
I noticed you have the little black cap on the return valve, i've seen videos where they have it on and some off, the intex video has it off, so do you take it off and on? i notice better flow with it off🤷🏻♀️
It's the aerator cap. We have always left it on. I would assume you could use it if your pump wasn't as strong as other pumps creating more flow but, in our case, we just never have needed it.
Quedaría excelente que se creara una versión para acuarios del mismo formato, pero con capacidad de poder filtrar el agua a través de esponjas en la plataforma y dejar siempre el sistema de luces, ¡quedaría fabuloso!!.
It has a lot of high pressure it's not circulating as well as the discharge does because it is above water, but it is still filtered water. We plan to use it in the evening for ambience and we run our pump in the early a.m. for 8 hrs for filtration.
I ordered mine from Amazon and it stopped working after 2 weeks. The flow changes when the filter needs to be cleaned but now the lights no longer work.
@@RaeDillard Wow - that is terrible. Thanks for letting me know. I will know to look out for those issues. You know there are a lot of folks out there (including Intex Pool owners) that are very handy and love to fix things. I would post it for sale Intex LED Waterfall parts or repair on eBay. In your description explain what the issue was. I bet someone who thinks they could fix it would buy it. Perhaps $40-50?
Well that is a thought, perhaps that is why we have barely been able to get in it yet despite high temperatures. Our water temp is not yet above 80. Thanks for the though provoking comment, We don't put it on all the time but good to think about.
I just recently put my new 22' x 52" Intex pool in my backyard. I want to install an automatic skimmer in the wall, and continue using the 2 suction ports underneath the water? This valve seems to be exactly what I need to achieve that. Does Intex sell it separately? I have a 12 inch pump, but plan to upgrade to the 16 inch pump shortly.
We have never seen that valve being sold seperately. As far as we know it only comes with the waterfall but you are not the first person who is interested in it for sure. We were talking about that one day and said Intex sure is missing out a lot of sales by not having that valve available. It's called a bypass plunger valve. It's nowherre in sight. If you find it let me know. There is another valve kit that is available that you may be able to configure something out of with the plans that you have. amzn.to/3ry9xRk
Hydro power! All water. Now I will tell you after three months our first one stopped working for some reason but we called Intex and they sent us a brand new one.
Right now I can only find this one which comes with the pump and the ladder and a maintenance kit... Pools are popular always! Intex goes fast. amzn.to/3D2v8Id I have seen all kinds of packages. Also look for 20ft I think I found those by themselves.
If you have metal rails around the summer waves pool in order for the 2 turn screw/clamps to tighten and a way to hook up the 1.5" hose I can't see why not, however they are hard to find right now especially at a decent price. This is a more than usual popular pool season due to the virus. Everything is sold out and/or overpriced.
Thank you. The lights came from Amazon. I kind of had introduced them in this video here ruclips.net/video/LC9NWRyjd-M/видео.html which had a screen shot of them on Amazon.
Thanks for liking it. I purchased mine off eBay and I know I have seen them sold other places but they have been sold out for about a month now and the price has been really hiked up. I would suggest waiting until pool supplies go down in cost over the winter and purchase one for next year unless you don't mind paying alot more.
That is a good question. We use our just occasionally and our salt levels are doing fine but if someone used it all the time, perhaps that would be an issue.
Our Intex has smaller fittings/hoses. I think inch and a quarter. Bought a sand pump and its inch and a half. I dunno what I need to buy to make it work..lol
Hi Angela, we have the same setup as you do. Our pool also came with an inch and 1/4 hoses but in the beginning we did not have to buy anything everything comes with the pump and the pool in order to connect it as needed. take a look at our sand filter video so you can take a look at our hoses closer as to how we have it hooked up. I'm confident that you have these parts because we did not have to purchase anything
I apologize for any delay. The lights we purchased in the past were no longer available on the original order page so I had to do some research for you. Here are the same lights just sold by a different merchant on Amazon. amzn.to/3Op0fS0 They are super weather resistant and they can stay outside for a lonnnnnng time. The only downside to them is the clear protective outside will have a slightly yellow tinge after 2 summers even if you bring them in during the winter, however at night you can't even tell they look and work the same! We have 6 six strings total in different places. This year our lights are multi colored around the pool. Trying to do something a little different.
My bestway filter pump has a warning “to never turn on the pump with people in the pool due to electrical hazard.” So, how can we still get the splasher or water fall if we don’t turn on the pump as per the manufacturer’s instructions?
Your pump would/should be grounded by a GFCI outlet. Our GFCI outlet was installed by a Professional Electrician on the outside of our home and it connects directly to/through a bedroom outlet
It was. We removed it because too much pine straw was getting stuck all in it as well as the neighborhood cats were pooping in it. We now have rocks The Rocks are not touching the Pole they come close but not touching. you can see this in some of our later videos and also were going to be putting out a video by the end of this week.
@@SinisterYT rocks or mulch it doesn't come that close but I would recommend to make sure your pool is at least 1/3 full of water before you place either or the material could go under the cover. They can still be several inches away all the way around and still look close to the liner
I am sorry I think I missed your question a couple weeks ago. You probably already know the price by now. The waterfall price varies especially during the Covid times Wow it was up there. It ranges from time to time from $79 to $125 we were almost in the middle when we purchased ours. We use it all the time still. Mainly just to have the effect while we were in our pool just listening to it but also watching it is always so relaxing and chill. You don't have to have the lights working at night to fully appreciate it the day or night. We love ours.
great video but can you provide a link for the handle that points up down no-no…. lol … i cannot find it anywhere and i don’t have name for it. please. i installed my waterfall but i want to keep inlet A and just switch back and forth if needed. if that make sense. the waterfall didn’t come with this attachment and i haven’t figured out how to close A so water doesn’t spill out.
yes it's for sale on the Intex website for $9.99 - So glad you found it. It's a popular question. We have had two waterfalls and they both come with it so I am not sure why they aren't including them anymore.
If you look at our skimmer video nothing has changed with regards to how that skimmer is hooked up to the pump as far as the left side of the pool where the water goes into the pool. The waterfall came with a short hose and a valve and that valve allows you to run the hose directly from the valve to the waterfall and from the valve to the pump everything operates normally when you want to turn the waterfall on.... you can do it from inside the pool or the outside of the poles simply by turning the valves handle. since the time we installed the skimmer nothing has changed with the hose setup or configuration the hoses that hook up to the two outlets on the right side of our pool are the original hoses that came with our pool last July they have not moved I hope I've answered some of your questions
Hi Carl, No we didn't install the deck ourselves. It was done by a local contractor. It is a 8 x 12 and was $1650 materials plus labor. Looking back we probably could have been fine with a 6 × 6 We plan to stain it soon. They said to wait at least a month. Thanks for the compliment on the pool.
But of course you could get an 8 x 10 for 1230 or a 6 x6 for 950. Even a 4 x 4 would work. We did overdo it because we only use a few feet of the entire deck surface but once we stain it we plan to add a few extra amenities. I guess if you are considering one decide on size and get some estimates. From what I heard we were really lucky with the price for the size.
Yes, we have used our waterfall as the only Inlet into the pool and the great thing is is at anytime you want to you just turn the handle and your back to the actual pool's inlet. So yes it's versatile as an on and off inlet feature or you can use it all the time.
Awesome video of the unbox and install. I have a Bestway pool and have installed the Intex sand filter, did the adapter to connect to pool. I do not have option of having that air intake valve going to pool, which I really want cause it has better flow. If I install this waterfall, and have the water from pump go to waterfall, is that ok? I am thinking this would give me better flow to move the water around vs what I have now. Thanks.
I understand what you are thinking. It is a huge difference seeing the water flow out of this thing, vs. seeing it just shoot out of the air intake valve. It's a good possibility it could definetly help move your water around vs. what you have now. The only potential problem is right now these waterfalls are so inflated in price because of supply and demand and the fact that it's the season for them. The cheapeast I am seeing is $149 on Amazon. It would be up to you or plan that for next season and purchase this waterfall in the winter when the prices drop.
@@MoverandShaker Thank you for the reply, and the tip on waiting until winter time for price to go down, I agree, right now they are very expensive cause of supply and demand, on Intex website they are listed for $50, so no way it is worth 3 times the price right now.
@@myquicklist1 Yes, it is like that for everything out there, pools, pumps, ladders, and other toys. It is when the pool companies and dealers make all of their money! If you lived near me, I would let you borrow it to see if it would work for you but I doubt we would be that lucky.
In case you are interested in puchasing this item. It may be in stock if not check back soon.

No we have not. Are you missing a rubber gasket? Check the parts and see if anything is missing. If not you may have defective threads, I'm really not sure. Use Vaseline also to make the tightening process easier
Is there something like this I could put on the side of an apartment sized bathtub please?
Probably but you will have to consult a kitchen and bath expert.
@@MoverandShaker Thank you. 😊

Best way to watch this video is with the sound turned down
Possibly
I have one of those but my three way only works the waterfall sideways can you tell me why? The only difference is the waterfall is on the right side. It comes straight from the waterfall to the side on the three way. Then the one stright down goes to my filter pump. Nothing happens when the knob is straight down.
Are you just talking about the position of the handle on the valve?
@@MoverandShaker Yes
I need to get the valve you using i can find it in Amazon..do you know the name of the espefic valve or fitting??
Intex does not make this part for sale it came with the waterfall.
What valves hoses and pump is this?
The valve for the waterfall is sold only on Intex. The pump and hoses are shown here: amzn.to/3Y3Holl and valve we have in the set up is here amzn.to/3OkjWgg
Old video but what is the part name for the adapter to the return jet
If you are talking about the "T" Valve then it is included with the waterfall and does not have a part number in the manual exclusively identified for that part. Let me know if you are talking about something else.
Do they have anything like this for the inflatable spas?
I have never seen anything like this for inflatable spas and in fact I googled it in a few different ways and I don't see anything showing up. Sorry. I guess you will have to get a pool to enjoy a waterfall like this one! 😋
@@MoverandShaker I guess. Lol. I couldn’t find anything either.
By any chance does that bypass valve have a part number?
12569. I only found it on their official website intexcorp.
Do you have the link for that bypass switch you installed?
If you're taking about the valve on the waterfall it comes with the waterfall.
Looks like I got the flowclear waterfall. Exact same thing, but did not come withthe valve.
@@moetij I am not sure what waterfall you have we don't have any brand called flowclear. Our waterfall came with the valve you see in the beginning of the video. I hope that is what you are talking about.
How do u switch light collor?
The waterfall automatically changes the light color on its own
I noticed you have the little black cap on the return valve, i've seen videos where they have it on and some off, the intex video has it off, so do you take it off and on? i notice better flow with it off🤷🏻♀️
It's the aerator cap. We have always left it on. I would assume you could use it if your pump wasn't as strong as other pumps creating more flow but, in our case, we just never have needed it.
Its required batteries? Becouse same from bestway need 3x aa bateries
No batteries it's powered by the water.
Is that rubber mulch around the pool edge? No issues with it puncturing the pool?
It was....no longer there with the exception of a piece leftover here and there. Never using it again lots of landscaping problems.
@@MoverandShaker So what are you using now?
Nice addition, but you can't run both at the same time? I know you will lose a little flo, but would like it to continue to circulate
It has a lot of high pressure it's not circulating as well as the discharge does because it is above water, but it is still filtered water. We plan to use it in the evening for ambience and we run our pump in the early a.m. for 8 hrs for filtration.
@@MoverandShaker Thanks i figured so.
Where did you get it at ? I been trying to get one but they are sold out everywhere 😭😭
Great beat!! :)
Thank you!
I have to admit, these intex pools have some nice and easy diy stuff. I would put this but this would make the water of my pool too cold.

Awesome! How are the LED lights powered?
Hydro power! All water. Now I will tell you after three months our first one stopped working for some reason but we called Intex and they sent us a brand new one.

Where did you get the plunger?
It comes with the plunger valve.
What model Intex pool you got? I can’t find one like this anywhere.
Right now I can only find this one which comes with the pump and the ladder and a maintenance kit... Pools are popular always! Intex goes fast. amzn.to/3D2v8Id I have seen all kinds of packages. Also look for 20ft I think I found those by themselves.
how strong is your pump
3000 gph
I did everything but I still don’t have a water flow😢
You have a valve turned off?
All this item does is lower the heat in your water , yes it cools the water down so if you like your pool water cold buy this item !!
Actually the item does more than cool the water on a hot summer day. It is very soothing and fun to be under.
AWESOM
Thanks 🤗
Wow great pool sir. What pump are you using to run the waterfall?
3000 GPH by Intex. The best Filtration and worth every penny. amzn.to/3uJQPr7 and you can see that video here ruclips.net/video/mvGjE1jsdPI/видео.html
@@MoverandShaker Great help thanks. 😀
I wonder would it work with the summer waves pool 🤔
If you have metal rails around the summer waves pool in order for the 2 turn screw/clamps to tighten and a way to hook up the 1.5" hose I can't see why not, however they are hard to find right now especially at a decent price. This is a more than usual popular pool season due to the virus. Everything is sold out and/or overpriced.
Great!
Very nice set up, where did you get the lights around the outside of the pool? Can you do a video on those please?
Thank you. The lights came from Amazon. I kind of had introduced them in this video here
ruclips.net/video/LC9NWRyjd-M/видео.html which had a screen shot of them on Amazon.
@@MoverandShaker Thank you very much for taking the time to respond! I really appreciate it a lot!! Thank you!
Very nice where we will get the same.
Thanks for liking it. I purchased mine off eBay and I know I have seen them sold other places but they have been sold out for about a month now and the price has been really hiked up. I would suggest waiting until pool supplies go down in cost over the winter and purchase one for next year unless you don't mind paying alot more.
Will this accelerate the evaporation of the chlorine in your water ? If so that is not a good idea
What lights are around the outside of your pool? I would like to get some
I apologize for any delay. The lights we purchased in the past were no longer available on the original order page so I had to do some research for you. Here are the same lights just sold by a different merchant on Amazon. amzn.to/3Op0fS0
They are super weather resistant and they can stay outside for a lonnnnnng time. The only downside to them is the clear protective outside will have a slightly yellow tinge after 2 summers even if you bring them in during the winter, however at night you can't even tell they look and work the same! We have 6 six strings total in different places. This year our lights are multi colored around the pool. Trying to do something a little different.
Whats the part# for the T you used to use the waterfall
It doesn't have an assigned part #because that t was only made for the waterfall
Is that rubber mulch around the pool?
It was. We removed it because too much pine straw was getting stuck all in it as well as the neighborhood cats were pooping in it. We now have rocks The Rocks are not touching the Pole they come close but not touching. you can see this in some of our later videos and also were going to be putting out a video by the end of this week.
@@MoverandShaker But is it pretty safe for the pool liner? I just bought some
@@SinisterYT rocks or mulch it doesn't come that close but I would recommend to make sure your pool is at least 1/3 full of water before you place either or the material could go under the cover. They can still be several inches away all the way around and still look close to the liner
@@MoverandShaker Yes but when you have the mulch that close to the pool like in your video did it ever puncture the liner?
can you run the waterfall and skimer at same time
I am sorry this question missed us. The answer to your question is yes of course...two different areas one an inlet and one an oulet.
Very educational videos!! Did that adapter came with the waterfall?
Thank you and yes it did. We tried to find the adapter online but apparently they only make it for the waterfall as far as I can tell.
Thank you.
Does it allow for adjustable control of the lighting?
no... it doesn't. 😌
What is the name of that valve you use for this? Do you happen to have a PN?
Bypass Valve 12569
I need the valve they used anyone know the name of it
What model and size of pool is this?
This is an 18' x 52" ULTRA XTR
How. Much is the waterfall
We love ours.
great video but can you provide a link for the handle that points up down no-no…. lol … i cannot find it anywhere and i don’t have name for it. please. i installed my waterfall but i want to keep inlet A and just switch back and forth if needed. if that make sense. the waterfall didn’t come with this attachment and i haven’t figured out how to close A so water doesn’t spill out.
bypass valve!!!!! found it lol
yes it's for sale on the Intex website for $9.99 - So glad you found it. It's a popular question. We have had two waterfalls and they both come with it so I am not sure why they aren't including them anymore.
Como puedo conseguir piezas de la fuente?

Bueno idea!
So do you have the skinner hooked up to the other hose, and the waterfall running also? If so what type of pump are you running I like the set up.
Als du den Anschluss abgeschraubt hast um den Adapter anzubringen war noch die Dichtung am Poolanschluss dran...
Tut mir leid, ich weiß nicht, was du meinst? oder was du sagen willst.
Nice looking pool. Did you guys installed the deck yourself?
Hi Carl, No we didn't install the deck ourselves. It was done by a local contractor. It is a 8 x 12 and was $1650 materials plus labor. Looking back we probably could have been fine with a 6 × 6 We plan to stain it soon. They said to wait at least a month. Thanks for the compliment on the pool.
Mover and Shaker is it possible to have a cheaper deck?
But of course you could get an 8 x 10 for 1230 or a 6 x6 for 950. Even a 4 x 4 would work. We did overdo it because we only use a few feet of the entire deck surface but once we stain it we plan to add a few extra amenities. I guess if you are considering one decide on size and get some estimates. From what I heard we were really lucky with the price for the size.

Intex deluxe maintenance kit and the Intex handheld portable vacuum
Can I use this waterfall as my only inlet in the pool ?
Yes, we have used our waterfall as the only Inlet into the pool and the great thing is is at anytime you want to you just turn the handle and your back to the actual pool's inlet. So yes it's versatile as an on and off inlet feature or you can use it all the time.
What model pool you have? Thank's
18' x 52" ultra xtr
@@MoverandShaker Very nice of you for offering that, I will plan on getting it when prices drop and try next year hopefully.
