I love how you just eat like regular foods, you're not overly concerned with calories, fat, etc etc. Super refreshing in this world of crazy fad diets and restrictive eating.
in a nutshell, unsaturated fat=healthy fat while saturated fat=unhealthy fat :) coconut oil has higher contents of saturated fat than butter, which can lead to complications such as heart diseases :D I am not discrediting the other health benefits of coconut oil...but just like EVERYTHING, best kept in moderation
This video was not only filmed with style, but with good information and healthy eating. Simple, delicious, and totally scalable for families too! I hadn't watched this video till after I ate breakfast and it's funny how I made an almost identical breakfast to the one you showed except I had raspberries too! Thanks for the video!
This felt so good to watch. Smart, beautiful and funny. Nice food, made with traditional ingredients. Usually when a model is so, down to earth and still heavenly, it does mess up a little bit my heart.
omg is this actually how you eat? thank you so much for this it made me feel so much better about food, because so many videos like these are so small and all healthy and it makes me feel so insecure aha! but this is still so healthy, its just more realistic and less tiny than lots of other what i eat in a days xxxxx
Love this video! I have 12 chickens and you definitely know how fresh, happy, chickens eggs taste! I cannot and will not every buy eggs again. If anyone can have at least 1 -2 chickens , seriously they are the best pets. I started off with 6 and the family just grew :) you eventually get over the smell, chicken poop and realise they are friendly and yeah they give you the best eggs! I am defiantly going to try toasting my bread that way too! Love butter :)
Is this Max's apartment? Sanne filmed her "what I eat in a day" video in this exact kitchen and the editing is nearly identical to her video as well, so I'm assuming he's the one filming & editing these similar videos? lol gorgeous kitchen though!! And i'll definitely have to try the minced onion in my scrambled eggs next time!
Omg I'm Italian and I can't watch her doing "Bolognese" it really hurts 😭 The only thing is that you wait water to boil before you cook pasta and that's great
Hey Jess!! All in all it's a very nice video! Just some tips for you: 1. Breakfast: for super velvety scrambled eggs go on low heat, it will have a creamy, cheesy texture even without cheese (try not to buy the pre grated stuff, it has a lot of bad things for you, that happen to ruin the taste). Dont be afraid to add chives to the scramble!!😁 2. Lunch: very nice and light lunch!! Little tip for the salmon, leave the sprig of rosemary underneath the butter , that way it will infuse a lot better and make it even more aromatic! You could also add some spice to the salmon, like chili flakes or chipotle chili powder for a smokier flavor and LEMON, the lemon will make it a thousand times better, trust me. As a Brazilian I can say, that you shouldn't be afraid to season your rice!! Even onions and garlic go super well in the rice. I love green asparagus, the best part about them is the crunch. No need to steam/boil the for a long time. 3.Dinner: For the tomato sauce you are using too much tomato paste!! You should try to brown your tomato paste before you put in the crushed tomatoes for a deeper flavor, one or one and a half tablespoons should suffice. For a more traditional dish try sweating the onions in olive oil and not butter, this is not so important. You said you use italian sausages instead of chorizo normally, so it's ok. Actually there isn't any pork in the bolognese, but I'm not going to nitpick. Once again: freshly grated is superior to pre grated stuff. 4. All in all you use great produce, so happy to see people planting their own herbs!! If you can afford fresh quality produce, unlike me a poor engineering student living in Germany 😭, you should definitely spend that extra dime! Very proud of you, you gained a new subscriber today.😊
That doesn’t mean she keeps it down or compensate in some other way for eating it 😕 models usually don’t have the healthiest habits in order to maintain their bodies.
A human can't be so insanely beautiful. Jessica you' re the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. You're not just beautiful and natural outside, you' re also fascinating, you know how to put spells on people with your eyes :)
I'm Italian and I can say you this: Bolognese pasta does not exits, it's called Ragù. It'smade with "soffritto" which is a mix of carrots, celery and a little bit of onions, tomato sauce, mixed minced meat, salt, pepper, basil and wine.
This just proves that thinness is really just down to genetics. I've been active all my life and eaten very similarly to her and I am just not as skinny. Some people are blessed.
i can absolutely guarantee she didn't eat all this food and wouldn't normally eat all three of those meals on the same day. these were filmed all in a row and she only took a bite or two of each. i'm sure she does like/eat those things irl but it's balanced out with lower calorie meals/exercise.
It's true 'thinness' is mostly down to genetics but you can still look good even if you have bad genetics. I can tell you for sure just by looking at this girl's face when it's zoomed in that she's a skinny-fat body type but she still looks good because she watches her calories, eats healthy and probably works out.
She at between 1600-1800 on this day which is nothing anyway. This was clearly a cherry picked video where she was being 'naughty' with the butter. Even if she did eat like this everyday she should still be skinny. You 100% do not eat like this everyday as the average person may eat 1 takeaway a week whereas she wouldn't which explains why you're not as skinny as her. She eats 0 snacks you may eat 1 snack a day. There's no way you eat 1600 cals a day unless you track your calories which I don't think you do. It's hard to accidentally eat that little she clearly restricts there is no way you eat as little as her everyday
Have you ever taken cooking classes? Your cooking techniques are so impressive! The way you quickly julienned your herbs and the way you twirled your pasta into little nests for plating? Top notch! ❤️🤗🍅🌱
Love love love this video. Beautifully put together! The fresh cherries and whipped cream are super special, and you made my favorite breakfast of all time. The bolognese was beautiful as well, not traditional bolognese though, but delicious all the same. Those noodles looked super fresh and good. Well done!
High protein, decent fat, herbs, fibre, fish... almost a ballerina diet. All the ones I knew ate similarly. Fresh, as organic as possible, full of flavor to satisfy the pallet, hydration, and stay away from sweets and sugar in general. All of that looks simple, clean, and the fats make your body, brain, and mind happy. Good on ya girl!!
People act like it's so strange that she stays fit eating this way but it honestly reminds me a bit of how the French view food. My cousins are European and all very slim and fit. They exercise regularly but eat bread, pasta and butter; very similarly to these kinds of meals. It's about balance, moderation, following your hunger cues and staying active.
Question: Would you normally just have one of these "comfort" meals a day or every few days? Meaning, you don't eat like this every meal, right? #butter. ❤❤❤
Just a heads up that the "humane" stamp literally supports no true ethical standard. From my recollection, all that entails is that chickens have the personal space equivalent of a standard piece of paper. Not trying to be preachy, but if you're concerned with animal welfare, buying mass produced animal products from a grocery store is not the way to go. It's impossible to treat animals well when they're being commodified on that large a scale.
"buying mass produced animal products from a grocery store is not the way to go" Tats not even remotely true. Maybe in big cities like NYC. But in most parts of the country there are local suppliers in grocery stores along with the big name inhumane suppliers. Ie: Im from Soflo and certain publix chains have deals with local farmers for their meat produce.
"Certified humane" doesn't actually guarentee that they've been given a decent life. It can just mean crammed in a barn with thousands of other chickens and not technically "in a cage" individually.
There are no humane eggs Jessica these beautiful chickens did not choose to be cramped up in a really tight place to produce eggs for people. Humane only means no cages but they are cramped in little spaces
There's been such a big push for "humane" but there is actually very little regulations on how the animals are kept and treated/killed for companies who use that label.
Yes I was coming to say this. And then even the most "humane" eggs still contribute to millions of chickens dying. This is because they breed egg laying chickens, the male chickens are not useful for this obviously so they are killed on mass. Usually through a grinder as per RSPCA assured guidelines in the UK and standard practice in the USA.
....you do know chickens, if left in the wild, would still lay eggs.. even without a rooster, unfertilized. Chickens are not "forced" to lay. I'm against the use of hormones/bad living conditions and all that. But you guys... I have a small batch of super happy free range Hens. And I'm thankful for the eggs they lay. It is always in the best interest of a good farmer to keep Hens happy and stress free, they will not lay as many eggs if in they are in poor stressful conditions.
Hi jessica :) I'm italian and I love cooking, break the basil with your hands, instead of cutting it with a knife. Once the basil is cut, it oxidizes very quickly (and takes on a decidedly bitter taste) and loses most of its essential oils. Breaking it instead we can add to our recipe a greater amount of essential oils, which are then those that give the flavor of basil to our dishes. Classic Italian tomato sauce is made with fresh smashed tomatoes, with inside olive oil, onion or garlic if you like and the whole basil leaf and no other grass. What you cooked is not a Bolognese, outside of Italy our dishes are cooked in a very absurd way.. We love simple and healthy things, especially in the kitchen. Bye!
I can see that you have put a lot of work in this video. Its very professional. But i think i prefer more goofy ones because they are much funnier and just more entertaining to watch.💕
I put milk in my scrambled eggs, it makes them fluffier! Never thought of putting the dried onion in them. I will try it! Great video Jess! PS. I loved the old style background music! Reminded me of the music my grandmother liked 😊
i am a big fan of a happy and carefree jess and her wisdom.....its just that her vibes is not as bright as before.. but still i wish you all the best and success..
I was just watching Sanne’s vlog of Saint Tropez with you and I was like 🍊 should really upload a video right now. So I guess you can say I’m a happy 🍊 it’s what I am right now
Honestly, you may as well just cook the salmon in brown butter if you're using butter in your method. You develop an incredible crust and will be far tastier (especially if paired with a sage, white wine and caper pan sauce). Great video though!
This is like a tv show on the food network it's so professionally filmed
I love how you just eat like regular foods, you're not overly concerned with calories, fat, etc etc. Super refreshing in this world of crazy fad diets and restrictive eating.
I love that you are actually using butter! I get tired of seeing everyone using coconut oil for everything. Yummy!
PREACH!
that's true! we learned that in med school :)
These are some contradictions, when it comes to coconut oil. Can you say what you know from med school about this?
in a nutshell, unsaturated fat=healthy fat while saturated fat=unhealthy fat :) coconut oil has higher contents of saturated fat than butter, which can lead to complications such as heart diseases :D I am not discrediting the other health benefits of coconut oil...but just like EVERYTHING, best kept in moderation
I somehow doubt Jessica is eating this stuff. It just doesn't add up you know
This video was not only filmed with style, but with good information and healthy eating. Simple, delicious, and totally scalable for families too! I hadn't watched this video till after I ate breakfast and it's funny how I made an almost identical breakfast to the one you showed except I had raspberries too! Thanks for the video!
I like it that you are not a typical or clichè type of model.
what does that even mean?
She knows how to cook
raymond She puts butter in every meal.
She ate mozzarella straight from the bag cause snack time 💁
Mindy Andres preach girl! She’s authentic and we love it!
Refreshing to see a vlogger and a model *shock* who can actually cook with real food and still be healthy!
Love this video x
If eating like this will make me look like you then I'm in lol
Cora LovesGlam cora omg i love you
easier said than done 😂
It’s also genetics!
I can assure you she doesn't eat like this on most days lol
if i ate that much id be a stick. granted im 5'9 and weightlift every day
Your comfort food is what my healthiest meals look like
Hhhh I feel you
OMG, Is this Sanne's kitchen or Max kitchen? I've seen this kitchen in Sanne Vloet's videos!!!!!
Cordelia lee pretty sure Jess lives in the same complex as Max’s which could explain why the kitchen looks like his (or Sanne’s)
Cordelia lee maybe is nooes kitchen... maybe they just use it as studio for filming... hmmmm...
Lola Who she said its her plants. maybe they’re flatmates?
She said its her garden
Cordelia lee yes,me too
I also put milk or water in my eggs!! And it keeps them moist, even when they're cooked through.
Wow, a model that's not vegan?? What has the world become??
Saliha Khan alot of models (me included) are not vegan ;)
There is hope
@@AishaSiegrist look at me i'm a model i have to tell everyone so they can imagine how beautiful i am
kaddaaaaaaaaaaaaa okay?😂
She's eating like everyone is suppose to eat, fats , protein and veggies also she drinks electrolytes and doesn't consume much carbs
This video is sooo beautiful. 21 minutes of pure calm. Lots of love xx
ouuuu yassss that kerry gold butter i’m proud i’m proud
Irish butter is the best butter there is :)
Have you tried their cheese? It's damn good
This felt so good to watch.
Smart, beautiful and funny.
Nice food, made with traditional ingredients.
Usually when a model is so, down to earth and still heavenly, it does mess up a little bit my heart.

Simply scrumptious... Your camera guy and edit was fabulous as well. Bon appetit!
this video is so beautiful
H
this is so much aesthetically pleasing

Your cooking videos are so comforting. I honestly could binge watch them if there were enough of them.
Me after I eat one fruit:
*ohmgod I lost 10 kg*
I fell in love with her when she ate some of the cheese while cooking eggs. So relatable and real.
Omg I'm Italian and I can't watch her doing "Bolognese" it really hurts 😭
The only thing is that you wait water to boil before you cook pasta and that's great
The idea that boiled rice is pilaf is also novel to say the least!
Hey Jess!! All in all it's a very nice video! Just some tips for you:

*literally the most gorgeous person alive*
I am gonna come back to this when its time to go to go to bed and im not tired. Such a calming experience.
The whole editing and the vibe of the video remind me of sanne’s
this is the best ''what I eat in a day'' video on the internet, this is authentic and I lovethe montage
It’s honestly so refreshing to watch a video of someone making normal food
Amaravady Pech Normal? What makes a food normal?
That doesn’t mean she keeps it down or compensate in some other way for eating it 😕 models usually don’t have the healthiest habits in order to maintain their bodies.
FINALLY! A "what i eat in a day" video from a model who's not promoting starvation and eating disorders, love this!!
Pretty please!! We need a weekly food show!!! Gardening and healthy eating .. IG fan since long time, special inside and out..
5:15 I think i'm in luv… that look. And it's nice to see a model actually nourishing herself with some quality butter.
Take a shot everytime Jess says "stick it/on/this"
Riah Donato Right when I read your comment I heard it in the video and now I can't stop hearing it.
And ‘this guy’. She uses that to describe clothing, make up, ingredients, any object that isn’t a person lol
"A little bit of butter"
Keeping the food aside, she is SO gorgeous like ohmygod literally the most beautiful woman i have ever seen SO PRETTY😍

The production quality of this video... who filmed this for you? It looks like a legit cooking show
Sharon Velez Max did
The aesthetic of this video was so nice and calming plz make more like this
Do you work out? If you do girl please do a video on it, you’re so fit!
Valeria Castaneda I’d love that
She has tons on workouts! Just search the channel :) there's one filmed on NYC roof top!
Margaret Hemenway I’m def checking it out then. Thx
Margaret Hemenway so sad she deleted that one :( hopefully there'll be a new one soon!
Oh wow! I had no idea :( Yeah I used to go back to those for working out
this is such a good video, i cant even describe. jazz? not lofi jazz? thank youuu. this makes me want to treat myself right :,)
How much of the aspargus you cut off hurt my heart 😅
It’s the first video of you that I’m watching, and I absolutely loved it!

She doesn't eat like this on a daily basis. Ffs. She probably just eats this once or twice a month, and not all three meals in the same day.
She ate around 1600calorin and probably works out. If you live the same lifestyle its pretty much imposdible to be fat
It's true 'thinness' is mostly down to genetics but you can still look good even if you have bad genetics. I can tell you for sure just by looking at this girl's face when it's zoomed in that she's a skinny-fat body type but she still looks good because she watches her calories, eats healthy and probably works out.

I love the fact that she doesn’t do any extreme dieting or a vomit diet!! ❤️❤️❤️
So glad to see you and your place looks amazing! Did you move from NY to LA?
Have you ever taken cooking classes? Your cooking techniques are so impressive! The way you quickly julienned your herbs and the way you twirled your pasta into little nests for plating? Top notch! ❤️🤗🍅🌱
Love the video! Why did you stop being a vegetarian ? just curiousss
The video is more relatable than the other 'what-I-eat-in-a-day-as-a-model' video! Thumbs up...
That’s a lot of butter
Alyssa Comfort food bro 😍
That's a lot of fat, the diets of the models are usually low carb.
mermaid there is a very small amount of carbs in butter or olive oil so that’s the Right diet
yep yep yep. high fat diets keep you fuller longer so less snacking on junk.
@Phil Conway wrong . Carbs spike your insulin, fats doesn't.
Love love love this video. Beautifully put together! The fresh cherries and whipped cream are super special, and you made my favorite breakfast of all time. The bolognese was beautiful as well, not traditional bolognese though, but delicious all the same. Those noodles looked super fresh and good. Well done!
YAY JESSS CLEMS THANKS FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO.
Good on ya girl!!
you’re so amazing. You promote a healthy balanced diet while all these other models promote a starvation diet. Love youuuu 💓
Omg these meals look so good. But I am curiois aboutyour workout routine. Can you do a video about it?
I love this video, nice clean editing, simple, soothing, calm music and jess u r so mesmerizing
Question: Would you normally just have one of these "comfort" meals a day or every few days? Meaning, you don't eat like this every meal, right? #butter. ❤❤❤
your videos are so chill and relaxing im in love
You should do vlogs in New York! I feel like that would be interesting to watch :)
Her voice is soooooo calming
The production and editing of this video is great! It upsets me how Americans pronounce herbs though haha
vneo42 haha I know! I don’t understand the ‘erbs’! 😆
Lol me neither. And baize-ull. I’m English and I say baz-al.
dldl same, from Australia and we say herbs and basil 😆
i say or-e-garn-no too not oray-gen-o. (aussie here) haha
I married an Aussie and I’ve switched to pronouncing the h in herb 😆
Everything about you and this video is perfect! I’m getting such classy, sultry vibes 💕

yea and it's not humane if the chickens are being forced to produce eggs anyways. Like just eat your eggs without guilt if you're at it lol or don't.

I've just found your channel, Omg, all that you made is just the kind of food I love, so I'm definitely subscribing! Nicely presented too! 😄
This. was. So. Slow.
Annoyingly slow
Honestly...jfc
I actually sped it up
lol facts, very well made and cute but I had to put it in 1.25x speed and it was still v slow for me
Luckily no bad thumbs
Thank you for offering such a healthy, balanced day of eating!
take a shot every time Jess says “stick” 😂😂
Loveee the fact that you cook with your hands!
im a male and i love this vid. thank you for teaching me how to cook lol
I've been waiting for your bolognese recipe for so long!! It's my favourite dish!

"Stick it!" - a book by Jess Clements
Sar_Gar I know right😂👏🏼
I put milk in my scrambled eggs, it makes them fluffier! Never thought of putting the dried onion in them. I will try it! Great video Jess!
PS. I loved the old style background music! Reminded me of the music my grandmother liked 😊
anyone else notice that all 3 meals were filmed one after another? :/ her breakfast was at 3:30pm..
10 lol who cares
It’s a what I eat in a day so that’s ok. She filmed when she could I figure!
give her a break lol do you think that real cooking shows are filmed at the time of eating?
Recognized that background music right away. That's what puts me to sleep every night! :)
that looks like sanne's kitchen lol... wait is it?
I thought the same!
Yess, it's the same! What?
Same...
Huh huh..was thinking the same..🤓
I LOVEEEEE growing herbs, they're so easy and useful!!!
I’m vegan but this was so relaxing that I sat through the whole thing... the music was perfect lol try a vegan one😻
Literally my favourite video of yours ever 💖
Was really expecting smoothies and a lot of fruit
i think it’s therapeutic to see people this beautiful
Looks like sanne kitchen...
I'm right?😶😶😶
i am a big fan of a happy and carefree jess and her wisdom.....its just that her vibes is not as bright as before.. but still i wish you all the best and success..
how come you aren’t vegetarian anymore?
I’m so relaxed after watching this✨ loved it!
I was just watching Sanne’s vlog of Saint Tropez with you and I was like 🍊 should really upload a video right now. So I guess you can say I’m a happy 🍊 it’s what I am right now
Love this ❤ Good vibes, plain and simple for your audience with a kick of duration 😅 20 minutes of my free time well spent
I love your jumpsuit!!!! Where is it from??
tilda mellinger it’s tagged on her instagram from storets xx
Finally a model who eats healthy, balanced and enough food! 👏👏👏
Where is your jumpsuit from?
You have such a calming voice, filming, and video style, I loved it💖
I really liked te video and the food! 🤤❤️
