I hate people that treat exit only lanes as means to get past a traffic jam in the thru lanes. Talk about entitlement and illegal in most states and I assume in New York as well. Where I live very few drivers will let a person that does that in which is why most people won't do that crap. AND I have lived in New York City and never let anyone in that did that.
