Hello everyone! We just wanted to add more info about the "voice" we captured. Firstly, we are mudlarks and are not interested in fooling anyone. I (Alex) only noticed the odd "voice" when I came to edit the video. It is nothing like my or mums voices and it caught me off guard the second I heard it! Mum and I replayed it over and over and over as we couldn't believe how much it sounded like casual speech. Our mic is attached to the top of the camera and has a "dead cat" muff to protect it from wind noise as it was a little breezy. We can't remember hearing anyone speaking on the day, however, and we have never experienced the mic/camera playing up in this way before either. The clip is not trimmed down, the "voice" appears the second I pressed record on the camera. Before mum even started to talk. There was a lot of noise from the train overhead, the river waves and the breeze; but the "voice" sounds as if it was close to the camera, not background noise. We are sure there is a rational explanation but It would be wonderful to think this is a spirit/ghost or even an echo from the past speaking to us! It is about as close as you could get to history and those that came before us. Gail & Alex x
Northern Mudlarks strange things happen when you least expect it! The voice was probably someone who wanted to hunt with you, obviously non threatening. I’d take it as another treasure! You’ve got to love Scottish history!! And all the sea glass! Wow!! ❤️❤️❤️

It is involuntary and passes fairly quickly. Thankfully! I agree a prayer for the soul is appropriate and I will add one for him as well!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience ! 70 men died building the bridge, that is a high price to pay for a bridge. The voice is very clear and evidence of something paranormal. Its called electronic voice phenomena where people into the paranormal record quite a number of voices from children, men and women. Your collection of finds are lovely and I look forward to seeing some jewellery that you both make. Thank you both. 👍
The photograph and the pieces of worn brushes are great, they give a bit of a glimpse into the past of the amazing men whom made the bridge possible. I believe you about the voices, I heard them too! Check the sound on 30:00 to 30:10, you can hear a man's voice with a clear strong accent. He says, "something, something, ay!" Thanks for creating and sharing this content.💖
The voice was very clear and very strange. I thought someone must have been with you. Large gangs of workers used to paint the bridge. I wonder if they drank from glass bottles then just dropped them. That might explain the quantity of glass and the stopple boppers. Excellent views of the rail bridge. For my money the finest example of railway architecture in Britain, and possibly the world.

Great video ladies! Lovely finds!! What a score on the lovely beach glass! Reminds me of beach combing with my beautiful mum! Makes me miss her so much more!! Your mans voice was certainly creepy & I instantly heard it even before the video stopped to refer to it!! A mystery indeed!! I look forward to your next hunt! 💕🇦🇺
I really love your videos, it makes me feel only half as strange spending hours beachcombing in every weather. I regret not having made enough time for us, thinking there would still be time. So never let anything get between you both, having a mum as a friend is something very special!
The music goes eerily with the video, especially with the mans voice saying "that sort of thing" very clear Beautiful finds, loving the sea glass As always very interesting to watch Keep going ladies
@@NorthernMudlarks the music in your videos is very atmospheric..plus the camera work is very well done..like a professional video...it really gives the viewer the sense & vibe of the locations...🇬🇧😎
Well spoken and calming voices. Very knowledgeable about many finds. I’m sure many who can’t get out and about to explore for themselves adore your videos. You end each other’s sentences like my dad and I. Keep up the great work
I thought it sounded like, "that was so sweet" and I'm pretty level headed myself. We had re played the video because I was distracted with other things the first time we watched, but when you guys talked about it, I was intrigued and had my husband replay it. I wasn't prepared when I heard it, and it caught me off guard, and I had to go back and play it again. I originally thought it was a guy even after you mentioned there were no people around.. Peculiar.... But great video none the less 👍
Thank you for taking us along with you on this beach combing trip! It was fun watching you find all of those gloriously beautiful pieces of glass. It's cold and snowing here and I'm all snug and warm inside my studio while you're braving the elements to show us all this fun stuff!! Thank you again!
Thanks for the latest video ladies! I believe in ghosts. These beliefs occur in response to life experiences. I once lived in a house with a poltergeist. Things would get thrown around the room in the middle of the night that would cause me to get woken up. I would still be in bed surrounded by carnage. Curtains would also be opened, and lights turned on/off. We have to keep an open mind about the supernatural. Science cannot always explain everything we encounter in our lives.
I had a cousin who drowned before I was born, either the month before I was born, or the year before. My dad, who's 90 years old now, says that when I was a little, little girl, about a year & a half old; I wasn't even talking yet; but one day I had gotten a strange look on my face along with a smile and said, clear as crystal, "Clarissa", which was my cousin's name. Dad thinks that I must've seen her spirit. He himself has had strange things happening in his house which he can't explain.
I was listening to this with headphones on, doing some art, and I wondered who you had with you today because I heard a mans voice. Then I looked up and read your captions and thought wow, I hope it IS a ghost voice!!!!
Gorgeous glass bits, every colour of the rainbow. Now that would be a lovely idea for a project. A rainbow made of coloured beach glass. Maybe in the form of a wall hanging. That would be a beautiful sun catcher.
This is the exact spot that got my boy and I into larking/beach combing. It was only a pit stop on the way home from the Highlands but it brings back some wonderful memories of his amazement at finding treasure! The little model train in the cafe opposite was the icing on the cake that day. Thanks for taking me back xx
I went back and listened on my earphones. I heard “ that’s so sweet”. Guess he enjoys your videos too!! Weird though!! The music went well with your mudlarking adventure as well!!
My heart just aches to be able to join you on a lark like this. I hunt for glass along Lake Ontario in New York State. It's good, but - oh my gosh!! - nothing like this trip of yours!! I am so jealous! Blue is the rare, sought-after color. Never in my life have I found red! Thank you for inviting us along.
Being one of your old time subs, I heard that same voice once more and very subtile, when you held up that heart-shaped rock saying in an almost sad, regretful whisper "a heart"! I very much believe that some souls come back to where they died and I am a medical professional!
@@Sunflower-mm2qd oh it's definitely there definitely heard " it's a heart" in fact I think it says it twice... I didn't think it sounded like the first voice although it's difficult to say because it was a whisper. I'm going to watch it through again from the start and see if there's anymore . 😊
From my iPad speaker it sounded like the voice said “That’s so sweet”. Funny thing, that. It’s a lovely location and the sea glass you collected is sublime! Thank you for always sharing lovely shots of the scenery and a bit of the local history of whatever area you are in. :)
Seattle here, mudlarked along the shores of the sound fourty plus years ago. Your glass hunting brought me back and was so relaxing. Bravo gals! Mucho Gracias.
As a lover of Antique Roadshow, I was so delighted to find this downhome version! The sea glass found under the Forth Bridge was probably tossed in there as drink bottles taken up top by the workers, making those shards so much more precious! I've seen heirloom jewelry on Antique Roadshow that did not delight as much.
So familiar the South Queensferry beaches. I’ve taken my grandchildren on many “adventures” on these spots. The beach at the road bridge has lots of metal reinforced glass. My grandson always seemed to be lucky and found some glass bottle stoppers and last Autumn found a slippy new £10 note! I loved your red glass....very elusive.
Electronic Voice Phenomena - An EVP. That is the rational explanation. Someone from the past was mudlarking along with you. Congratulations on that capture. "Dead" doesn't always mean "gone."
That 100% was a voice from beyond. I was watching and as soon as he spoke, every hair on my body shot straight up and I shivered from head to toe. I am very empathetic and have had lots of contact with those long dead. And that was a man's voice. That's incredible.
Wow, that was spooky! I love y’all’s channel! I’m glad I discovered it. I could hear you talk all day long. Y’all have such sweet voices! You need to do audio books hahaha
My thoughts exactly just two very nice people enjoying their passion for finding things and sharing them with us thank you as always for a lovely video and that was definitely a voice x
Alex's voice reminds me a bit of this Eurovision Song Contest winner, was it Dana?, who sang 'All kinds of everything'. Do you happen to sing as well Alex?
Love your videos! The sea glass is beautiful! And the bottle stoppers and paint brush are very interesting, but not as interesting as the voice that spoke from the past! You are privileged to have heard him speak. Keep up the good work! Love you ladies.
If you ask “ paranormal voice “ to listen to that voice “ they may be able to look into it for you . They may tell you if it’s paranormal or not and reliable . They would be very interested , Jayne Mortimer has done lots of investigating and well respected in the paranormal field . Find her on face book and her utube channel . EVP’s are her speciality x
What a nice bridge. Very pretty design. They don't make them like that anymore. Thanks for taking us along. I love the pink, lavender, yellow glass bits. Rare Well Blues are my all time Fav.
I learned from a collector of old glass that some glass that has manganese in it will remain colourless unless it is exposed to uv radiation by the sun for a long time producing manganese oxide turning it to a purple like colour
I think lead in glass makes lead crystal . I know from stained glass that gold is added to make red glass and that is why it is more expensive than other colours . Pink glass is also a little more expensive to buy than other coloured glass sheets ..... as a footnote I dont wish to sound like a clever clogs I just want to be informative . I really love your vlogs and your mother daughter collaboration it is really special . My own daughter passed away in October 2018 of a horrible neurodegenerative condition .... your vlogs send me on a diversionary path of a treasure hunting I have always enjoyed
Oooooh.😳 unless your voice got much lower, definitely a male voice. I heard "that's so sweet" amazing colors. My favorite color is that creamy , blue milk glass. Thanks for another great mudlark.17k and counting....im so excited for you ladies. Looking forward to the next one.🎉🎊🎉🎉
Lovely video ladies! The striped glass art is kiln fired glass. The stripes in it that look like foil is dichroic glass it’s a little pricey! A 2” square piece costs around $7.00us dollars! Loved all your glass and the paint brushes were very interesting! Maybe one of them belonged to the man on the video!!🤷♀️
I’ve heard a few EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recently that have changed my mind from one of a sceptic to, well there has to be something in it. I’ve also heard some refer to it as the “stone tape theory”, that somehow the rock stores sounds and visuals from the past, maybe one day scientists will confirm this is possible. Quite spooky and very intriguing.
Yes definitely heard the voice. I have had some weird things happen to me in houses before where I thought I had heard someone and there was no one there. I also work in this building and their use to be a house on it before they tore it down. Well I would come in early on a saturday or sunday morning to work in my office and once in a while a would get a smell of perfume and then later on I would hear like old music playing. I told some people I worked with about this and they told me that an very old woman that had the house they torn down, died in the house. So now anytime and smell the perfume or hear the music I say good morning to her. LOL True story. Anyways, love the video and the sea glass. I too love collecting rocks. I would love to send you guys some stones we have here in Michigan I think you would like, but would need your address to send them to you. Alex please check with your mom first before doing this. I don't what her mad that you gave out your address. Well you guys take care and stay warm. Your friend Steve Bonds in Bay City Michigan USA
having fun finding videos of yours which i missed - can't believe it's been over 4 years since i started watching your channel. lovely sea glass - would love to see what u make w/it. thanx!
Congratulations on 18,100 subscribers! 🎉🥳🥳🎉That is soo awesome. You two deserve it and more.🤗 I really enjoy watching you and your mom doing something you both love together. It make me happy but at the same time a little bit sad. It remains me of the time my mom and I spent together. She passed suddenly a few years ago. 😔🇩🇰 That was a man's voice. That is an impressive EVP. It sounds like "That's so sweet" I listen to it 7-8 times. It was really clear. He must have been standing right around you. Is that a first for you guys?
Another great video! Tons of worn glass -- wow. Also loved the intro music -- guessing that it was local? But it sounded like Bluegrass music from the US (which of course sprang from Scottish and Irish immigrants). As to the voice? Obviously there was no third person there. You are not using a "tape" style recorder where sounds can bleed across the tape from other spots on the tape. You use a Canon M-50, right? It has WiFi and Bluetooth but none of that should be able to inject audio into your recording. It does not have cellular so there is no way that it could pick up a cell phone call. Sometimes there can be cross interference between radio/cellular signals and other electronics, but rarely would it come through as a clear voice. I love watching "ghost hunting" shows, but I really believe very little of it -- I think that there are just lots of odd electrical things going on that their devices pick up and we do not understand yet. So for me I would have to chalk it up to that. Now if you hear a voice that addresses either if you two directly, by name, that would definitely be creepy! But thank you for sharing what is at this time inexplicable!!!!
6:30 CREEPY! sounded like a man's voice saying "That's so sick"!...? I am an amateur Rockhound and enjoy seeing the types of agates, crystals and really just rock's in general you gal's come across great vid!
EARTH ANGEL ♥️. MY GOSH, that sea 🌊 glass and those rocks are beautiful!!!😍 I would have an antique 🍲 bowl filled with glass & rocks in every room if we had those kinds of rocks ,and that kind of sea glass around here!! 😍One bowl would be antique glass, one old & wooden, one antique pottery & one in old silver!! May even a complimentary candle in the center!👍💕👍👍. You’re soooo fortunate!
Brian Ferris Pudding stones are conglomerates that may be found around the world, but aren’t common. The pudding stones we find in Michigan were brought by the glaciers from a particular rock face in Canada. I’ve found puddings stones that needed a tractor to move them. We brought my departed Dads favorite to Washington state when we moved here along with a number of littler ones. Funny what someone may think if they dig them up hundreds of years from now.
Glaciers once covered Scotland and much of England, as well as my area (Northern Washington State, USA). Seeing the great variety of stones on the beach in this video shows me that. Glaciers pick up stones as they creep across the landscape, stones of all sorts since the geological makeup of the land they move over varies. As they melt, they drop them. to the joy of today's rockhounds. On our Puget Sound beaches, once buried by glaciers, I find basalt, obsidian, granite of various colors, agate, jasper of various colors, jadite, petrified wood, sandstone, quartz, striped stones and pudding stones. The glaciers left most of them behind.

8:26 That's the sort of rock we look for when we hope to find some flecks of gold 16:19 Those are carbon rods from the core of a battery, as in an old car battery.(Look for information on Zinc-Carbon batteries) 28:38 That green glass, if it glows under UV light (blacklight), it has a tiny amount of Uranium in it, and is slightly radioactive.
You are both lovely gentle people and I'm sure other gentle spirits appreciate your appreciation. I wanted to say this a while ago because I saw the elements "having fun" with you as you have fun with them. It's very special and normal.
lovely sea glass! so jellies, I wish we had sea glass like that to find where I am its going to make me search more on our foreshores in Canada a bit more. The music goes eerily with the video, especially with the mans voice saying "that sort of thing" very clear
Beautiful finds, loving the sea glass
As always very interesting to watch
Keep going ladies
Thank you very much! It took me ages to find the right music to fit that part 😊
@@NorthernMudlarks the music in your videos is very atmospheric..plus the camera work is very well done..like a professional video...it really gives the viewer the sense & vibe of the locations...🇬🇧😎
Dear @@Cheval288
I totally agree!
Best regards luck and health.
I love watching your videos if I'm bored or on a low being depressed.. you both always make me happier doing your mudlarking
I love the way you do like a scenery thing its so aesthetic ❤❤😍😍😍 lots of love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Thank you for taking us along with you on this beach combing trip! It was fun watching you find all of those gloriously beautiful pieces of glass. It's cold and snowing here and I'm all snug and warm inside my studio while you're braving the elements to show us all this fun stuff!! Thank you again!
That bridge is amazing !! The beaches are sparkling with sea glass so pretty with all the different smaller stones.
I like your comment... “Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are open.” Lord Dewar
Lovely glass! I did hear the man's voice once I put my earphones in, it was very obvious. I also got chills!
OMG I had just mentioned my ancestors being from the Firth of Fourth, thank you so much for going there because I am in Northern California! Yeah!
I heard the voice too. Two worlds collided!!!
That was a fantastic video Alex and Gail!! How I wish I could have been there with you to collect sea glass and all your other treasures!! Awesome!!
17:16 I think is where you can here a whisper “that’s so sweet” ...really deep male voice different from the first.
Is that what you’re talking about?
My heart just aches to be able to join you on a lark like this. I hunt for glass along Lake Ontario in New York State. It's good, but - oh my gosh!! - nothing like this trip of yours!! I am so jealous! Blue is the rare, sought-after color. Never in my life have I found red! Thank you for inviting us along.
I think he says "That's so sweet"
That's what I heard, too. I heard it before they mentioned it. I thought some creeper was hovering and trying to include himself! Sorry, Mr. Ghostie!
I agree
I heard the same.
Adox Artist that’s what I heard also
I heard it as 'that's so sveet' like he has an accent. So melancholic yet clearly a bit happy to have a curious bit of company.
Sounds like “that is so sweet” 😱👻👻
Being one of your old time subs, I heard that same voice once more and very subtile, when you held up that heart-shaped rock saying in an almost sad, regretful whisper "a heart"!
I very much believe that some souls come back to where they died and I am a medical professional!
I heard that too....thanks for letting the 2 ladies as well as me know (I thought I was going overboard)!
I heard that too
@@user-qi8su4mo3l thank you....I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but after listening several times I thought I should mention it!
@@Sunflower-mm2qd oh it's definitely there definitely heard " it's a heart" in fact I think it says it twice... I didn't think it sounded like the first voice although it's difficult to say because it was a whisper. I'm going to watch it through again from the start and see if there's anymore . 😊
Sunflower good for you having an open scientific mind
Finding that pendant is a sign for your future in making lots of sea glass jewelry and becoming successful at it. Always watch out for signs!
That's a fine collection of Sea Glass job well done the Ghost 24 hour a day just to make your day more interesting!!!; )
Great finds!!! The mans voice catch was awesome! Us ghost hunters pray for that sort of thing and you caught it unexpectedly!!!
Another great vid, I love it when you guys have a new
Video really get excited to see what goodies you find and
Make!! Keep them coming 👍😍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it xx
Oh gawd I wish I could get up early like that to go on adventures!!!!
Looks like you and your mom enjoy doing this together! It makes me happy just to watch you two and see all the beautiful glass you find.
I did hear the voice and it sounded like a man was with you. But I thought he said “That’s okay.” That is so weird! Another great episode!❤️
Ty for your videos. I am disabled so I cannot do what you do but I find such joy in your videos and treasures.
Loved all the beautiful views would love to go their one day;The way you displayed the sea glass was just beautiful.
Another wonderful video. Thank you for taking me along on your adventures.
That 100% was a voice from beyond. I was watching and as soon as he spoke, every hair on my body shot straight up and I shivered from head to toe. I am very empathetic and have had lots of contact with those long dead. And that was a man's voice. That's incredible.
Great ghostly video and some beautiful finds ...thank you ladys for another video...
Yes you are right! I get mixed up between pink glass and purple glass. I think pink glass contains lead and purple contains manganese. 😊
6:30 I was listening to you while doing a puzzle. I thought, “I didn’t know a man was with them!” It makes my hair stand up.
Nicholas Duckney awesome I know crystals store ‘things’
Love all the sea glass. You were able to find some great colours! The bridge is awesome! And a ghostly resident!!
Your friend Steve Bonds in Bay City Michigan USA
having fun finding videos of yours which i missed - can't believe it's been over 4 years since i started watching your channel. lovely sea glass - would love to see what u make w/it. thanx!
I have seen some videos about spirit voices. That sounds to me like a spirit was speaking. So rare to catch that.
Karen Massie Very rare indeed. People invest in all kinds of recording devices and seldom get a voice that clear
Very cool video. Nice catch with the paranormal voice. The pendant you found is made of Dichroic glass, nice find. Great work ladies.
That was a man's voice. That is an impressive EVP. It sounds like "That's so sweet" I listen to it 7-8 times. It was really clear. He must have been standing right around you. Is that a first for you guys?
Thank you so much! So sorry for your loss xx We have never heard anything like that voice on our recordings before xx
The stone with the cobweb pattern would be my find of the day. Loved it.
Wow! I heard the voice before you had said something 😳
That is super cool and rather very interesting!!!!!!
6:30 CREEPY! sounded like a man's voice saying "That's so sick"!...? I am an amateur Rockhound and enjoy seeing the types of agates, crystals and really just rock's in general you gal's come across great vid!
For me, looking for treasures like this is so much fun!
That’s a little spooky. My suggestion for your next you tube channel “ the northern mudlark paranormal investigators”.
T nguyen LOL
I loved seeing all of your glass bits in order of color and with background light on ❤️ So pretty! Oh, and Gail’s boots are really cool 👍
I Heard "that's so sweet " as well, as many others :)
8:54 is pudding stone it can only be formed under a moving glacier and the glacier melts away those pudding stones are left over.
@@kbwoodcock Thank you for sharing loved ones even in Heaven keep a close eye on things in the earthly plane.

I enjoyed that ladies, interesting to watch and enjoyable. Have yous done any videos of yous actually making anything with the pieces yous find?
Great to see mum and daughter outdoors spending a bit of quality time together doing something both of yous are passionate about.
How sweet is your voice Alex, i could listen to you counting to 100,000 and still enjoy it.
Maybe instead of being creepy, it was just a mud larked from the past enjoying a day on the beach and relishing in your enthusiasm and positive energy! :) love your videos, thanks for sharing!
8:26 That's the sort of rock we look for when we hope to find some flecks of gold
16:19 Those are carbon rods from the core of a battery, as in an old car battery.(Look for information on Zinc-Carbon batteries)
28:38 That green glass, if it glows under UV light (blacklight), it has a tiny amount of Uranium in it, and is slightly radioactive.
Ah! I recently found something that looked just like those bits and couldn’t figure out what it was. Makes sense that it is a core from a battery.
As for mans voice, I think you caught a good Class A EVP.. that voice was definitely a mans voice. I do think it was a paranormal experience you captured. it sounds like he said...that sort of thing. I think Ghost man was larking along with you there. You will have to go there again and see if he comes back. when you are there next time just ask is anyone here with us and let your camera record for a bit. that's creepy but exciting! great videos as always! luv your channel content.
You had a lot of very special finds on this day including the very clear class A EVP electric voice phenomena..This was very clear and not the wind or rubbing coat.He would have had to be right next to the camera to have ..Nothing to be scared of,it’s not unusual, it’s just that you were recording at that time you caught it.Spirit are around us all the while, including those we love who like to visit to see how you all are.I am a medium I hear them all the while so I am used to it lol..You just happened to be in the right place at the right time..I love walking the shores or fields and so enjoy the happy positive energy you both give off..It makes my day every time I visit ..Love n Light 🥰

Right after mum says it's got a hole in it...
I agree, I'm in NY
I heard that too yes.
Superb views of the forth bridge, never seen it up that close before! Lovely collection of glass pieces, they look great when you back lit them, could be a good area for proper bottle digging or even magnet fishing.

Agreed, I thought it was Gail, it just sounded wierd because she was off to the side and it was windy. Alex is holding two bottle rims too.
Mum’s hat is fab. Sounded like a man’s voice. Alex you are so enthusiastic about your finds! Thanks for sharing your day with us ladies.
I heard "that's so sweet" like he was watching & commenting on what you're doing. Odd that we seem to be observed by spirits but I've had it happen to me too. He sounded like a kind soul.
I listened against & heard "that sorta thing" just like you typed. So I don't know now lol!
