Extremely helpful mate, one other thing that will cause an IE error, an improperly placed drainage hose, make sure you have the air gap, or incoming water will just drain out from the drum, stop, then IE error.
We Had An IE error , we changed water pump, we checked the hoses at tap and machine. Turned out that the water inlet above the soap dispenser was completely blocked with hard water caking. We unscrewed and soaked in vinegar and got rid of all the scale and the machine runs like new. All the taps and hoses were completely clear on first inspection
We just had a horrible move and then last night finally tried doing some laundry and got this error message. Suffice it to say a broken washer after all we were dealing with would have been the final straw but thanks to this video (our movers jammed the drain line almost 3 feet down) we were able to quickly fix the problem and get the machine working. Thanks for sharing this video.
For my IE error code, I had to remove the pressure switch hose and clean it out. I ran hot water through it and blew through the hose. The larger hose it connected to also needed to be drained out and cleaned out.
This should be the last step for an IE or 1E error. 1. Check to make sure the draining hose isn't too far down the wall- this creates a siphoning pressure, which drains as your washer fills.. it should be barely inserted into the wall. 2. Check inlet plastic filter for debris/blocking- make sure the water has smooth sailing into the washer 3. Check the Valve on the wall- purchase a meter to check to make sure the water coming out from the HOT VALVE and COLD VALVE is okay and does not need to be replaced. This requires a bucket & turning off the valve for hot & turning off valve for cold, then inserting the meter each and turning valve back on to test. 4. The inlet valve he replaced in the video is the last step for this error. Usually the problem. But 90% of the time it's step one-Pressure Hose.
