"Cthulu, but it's also a dumpster fire " sounds simultaneously like a winning play in Cards Against Humanity, and a PERFECT metaphor for 2020.

I don't know why, but George reminds me of Jerry from Tales From the Gas Station.

Dr. Creepen you make my night. Love listening to your stories. Thank you
This story literally gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Dumpster Fire", that's for sure. I mean really, what a crazy tale that was! I do hope there will be a part 2, or at least another story involving the Priest and his knowledge of what actually transpired.

Very very good story!!
Awesome possum!!!!Dr.C is here!!!👍

Awesome. Believe it or not.... One day I was driving thru a shopping center in the town I moved to after university.
The center has several business with one at the middle of the entrance a burger joint that had bn in business since the 1960s. The day was HOT and I had my car windows down, as I drive past the dumpster at the back of the resturant which wld make it near the middle of parking lot I got an awful whiff frm the trash. I know what trash smells like in summer and that was not trash.
Police were called and they found a man's body in dumpster!!!! This town has around 35,000 ppl so this was a surprise. The killer was found within a week.
On a side note I traveled around the United States & lived on the coast of Washington state after highschool.
I was out walking old logging roads with friends and some 15miles in we came across a strange scene of rope around a tree and womens clothes neatly laid all around with empty wallets and purses along w beer bottles. Then it wasnt 5 min after we found the site of whatever we heard a car coming dwn the gravel road and all of us hid in some bushes.
The car slowed dwn near the site and slowly went by. I had seen that car before, an old beater w a big trunk in town in a Safeway parking lot which was closed at the time watching people cme & go frm the Swansons Grocery store. The car had followed me one night and I lost him by going thru some oneway streets the wrong way.....this made me wonder WTH......
I carried a 30 ought 6 rifle while out bk then bc of animals that deep into woods.
When my friends and I got bk hme I called anthr family friend on the police force and told them what we had found......
Well they came out did a look and told me their had bn several missing girls in the past few months and the clothes we had found were what they were wearing!! I gave them the info on the car and the men's description the best I cld hv seen and I didnt hear anymo from that bc I went into the U.S Navy not long after.

Sometimes people throw away their whole lives. It's actually kind of creepy when you figure out the reasons. I used to live in a really neat apartment that was above some stores. In the basement was one off those store front type super strict pentecostal evangelical hispanic churches. It was the kind where the women wore head cover and long skirts. When someone would convert to that particular church, you would find items that the church deemed sinful.in the dumpster. Pop music CDa by the case, DVDs, women's pants, sexy clothes, home decor that depicted sinful? images. I would hit that dumpster after we would hear them speaking in tongues because there would always be a haul of goodies of people's lives. It was strange in a way to see people just discarding their identity among the trash from the stores.
That's fuckin crazy
Ever since discovering Jerma, I always subconsciously imagine every character that the story goes out of the way to highlight is from Boston as him
Love having a good story to relax to
Definitely need more!
What a great way to spend the hour before I take out the trash . This will make the trip to the otherwise stinky dumpster a little more creepy, thanks for the escape, doc.
Damn that was good. Even the firefighters going out so easily Haha
Doc your Boston accent isn’t half bad, but the things being said have me in stitches! 😂😂
So upon completion of listening, that was definitely one of the most hilarious thought provoking tales I’ve yet to encounter! Basically a living giant dumpster, which houses an enormous squid like creature, and can move at speeds equal to a high speed sports car, all the while on fire, and a possible priest involved(maybe), and all I really want to know is did the officer still make his date? Because that’s one helluva story to have dinner and drinks over!!! Really unique, well done as any “out there” stories are. And the Dr gave it life! What more can you ask for? Ahh! A part 2! Where the priest is ultimately revealed as a world ending super villain bent in destroying small towns because he has a Napoleonic complex. Well, an A+ here! Loved it!
You know it's gonna be good when Dr Creepen says thought it was written by Stephen King! Now if only I had a damn drink 😒
Diving into this Dumpster, with my favorite drink. Cheers Dr. 🥂
maybe old Stephen king, he's been off his damn rocker for almost a decade, and i say this as someone who has read almost all his books and was a big fan.
now all that aside this is a beautifully well crafted story that makes use of all the right elements without using a single worthless cheap shot i.e cringe lines like hyper realistic or spamming you with gore details. none of that whoever wrote this knows buildup and how to be vague enough to let your mind fill in the blanks 10/10 excellent words and story design, honestly didnt even feel like an hour and a half. felt more like 45min, very much a story that sucks you in whoever wrote this really should consider making a living off his high quality writing.
p.s yes i'm aware there was gore details. but they where not spammed, they where used as an introduction to the horror not spammed for "shock factor"
Hi! I'm the author. I'm really glad you liked the story. And "yes" I would love to make a living off of writing. If you have any connections, or suggestions on a route one would take to accomplish that I would be all ears.;)
I have to disagree on the knowing how to do buildup, since before all hell broke loose the author kept kneecapping any tension buildup by slamming on the brakes every time a new character is introduced to give us a description and long backstory full of unimportant details.
When someone runs up to the main character Saying someone has gone missing and they think something weird might have happened to him, then don't stall to tell me how often he gets tickets or wins at poker, or that the salon owner is a gossip who's husband bought the business for her, or that the deputy used to play football in high school and sleeps with a lot of women. None of these things have anything to do with the story and all it does is kill any sense of urgency the story has.
Once the story got going it was great, but damn did it drag it's feet before it got there.
@@greenwitchinc.1682 Great story. Wish you much success and hope to read or hear much more from you. Very good tale indeed.
@@risingson7773 thanks man! I have a lot of different projects in the works right now. I'm happy to say that it's the opposite of writer's block. @@greenwitchinc.1682 It's honestly like other industries; comes down to who you know for the quickest way in, talent because that's hard to ignore, and luck.
I write as well, but not on this level yet. From what I've found out is find a publisher online or nearby (maybe travel a ways to one with some repute) and hound them lol! Somewhat kidding, but I'm sure you know how that process goes from there.
There is the self-publishing route which is cheaper, but requires a bit more self-promotion and the like and you have complete control of what you do. Maybe someone will pick you up after it gets out there.
What you're doing now is great for exposure, having it read on RUclips. On Reddit you have the Nosleep community and I'd bet you'd find someone that has been published and could point you a good direction for the genre you're in.
The Chilling Tales for Dark Knights channel is another place to have this read and see what they could help you with.
If it's going to be back on here and elsewhere, I'll definitely be tuning in. You've a gift for sure if pulling works off like this.

So you write as well? Do you have anything online yet? I don't know if the pros ever stop doubting their own abilities. But I imagine that it is a thing that plagues most artists for their entire lives.
There's definitely people out there who have better advice than anything I could offer up... I think the best suggestion I can give for the creative process is to try and enjoy whatever it is you're making. I think if you can get lost in your work. And genuinely get excited over what you're doing. Then you've crossed a big hurtle that holds a lot of people back.:)
@@greenwitchinc.1682 Some ego is fine as long as it manifests as confidence lol! Anymore and it's hard to keep one's head propped up without hot air XD
Definitely see how many would be interested, as I know they pick more than they get offers to read. At the same time, I agree with Dr. Creepen in relating this to an author's work. You can kinda tell what's meant to be posted to some scary story groups, while this has novel elements. I guess the real test then is how much more is in the noggin'.
I do have one completed short story I forgot to put up somewhere lol! I think I was going to put it up on a writing forum for critique just to get more thoughts on it. I have poems and character bios, as I draw alongside, but not much else. I'm working on a novel with five chapters, but they are old and need revision.
Yes. Because there are successes and failures, there is a continual process of doubt and improvement. It can keep one humble and centered, while some only put their work out when 100% about it. Think of Daniel Day Lewis. Every single movie he has done is perfect because he is very selective and put all into his roles.
Writers don't always have that opportunity unless they have the finances to take their time, so some have "spare" works while they work on the main piece.
I agree, I've had those spells and it sucks when it passes. I'm not sure if you have background in writing as in schooling, or you just naturally are good at it, but keep writing. You're excellent with character dialogue, pacing and use of humor. I can admire that as those are things I work on still.
@@blumiu2426 I have a little bit of background in schooling. I was an English major once. But never graduated lol!
And yeah writers block sucks. Fortunately I have not had much of a problem with that. But I would definitely attribute most of my writing to the nightmares that I have. Which I really do enjoy most of the time, and usually use them as a basis for stories. Also I think the sweet, sweet ganja definitely helps out as well.;)
I've been meaning to dig into this one, finally got the chance!
Omg, best story I've heard in forever! Definitely want a sequel!!
Howdy! I'm glad you liked the story. This is actually part of a short story horror collection I'm working on. It's called "The Duxbury Chronicles". While there is not a direct sequel in the works per se. I do have a couple other stories that take place in the same town. If you want to check one out, I do have another one posted on Doctor Creepen's Reddit page. Here's the link. Mr. Dr. Creeprn sir can u narrate a story how you did tunnels. I love your vids
Anybody get what he was getting at at the end with the priest? That part confused me but I loved this story!
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm THEORIZING that the story was implying that the Priest knew what really happened. Especially near the last few sentences when they mentioned how he did all kinds of work for people...
It's almost implying the Priest was behind the whole thing.
@@abluntuser940 yes and when he said you don't know what may have come outta the bog; also when he is described as having a big, toothy grin and when Bob thought he saw a smile of satisfaction, the pink cake is a very good clue as well😎
The priest was a conjurerer and summoned the king of marine spirits....
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo you can’t end it like this, my poor family think I’ve gone made as I yell at the top of my voice NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
What an adventure, LOVED IT !!!!
Mad not made ( damn spellcheck)

The Father reminded me of a resident evil merchant who always has the right stuff at the right times with no explanation
What you buying
Awesome, unique story. Really enjoy the ones that aren’t cut and paste stories with slight modifications.
agreed. Unique stories that don't require every character be a stupid deer-in-the-headlights is nice.
@@nookleer Thanks! I'm glad you dug the story. The good Doctor has been narrating another one of my stories as well. If you'd like to check it out, the first two parts are already up on his channel. Here's the link to PT 1.:) ruclips.net/video/R30Mz946eO0/видео.html
@@greenwitchinc.1682 oh neat! the author! I'm aleays shocked when the author responds.
Hey, can I ask? Will this creature and the priest appear in another story? I gathered that the priest was also supernatural and it's a shame to never know what's up.
@@nookleer Yes sir! The creature and Father John will both be reappearing. This is actually part of short story collection I've been working on called "The Duxbury Chronicles".
