Cory Funderburg is a musical GENIUS! To be able to take what most consider hard rock (and also one of my all time favorite bands) and turn it into this masterpiece played by a high school band is absolutely incredible. These kids clearly have so much talent! I’m so proud to say this is my home town! Keep rocking it band of Gold! I’m forever proud of each one of you!
I think it’s genius! To take a completely different genre of music and play it by an incredible marching band shows extreme creativity and talent. But they even took it one step further and it’s absolute perfection! I’ve always been a Metallica fan, but this just goes above and beyond. I can recognize each song, but it’s not boring “ karaoke” style. Outstanding job, Band of Gold!,
