Using parts arena i was able to establish the correct fault and locate the correct part even when there was two to choose from depending on the FD code.

put the nut on loose put the fan back in position and half tighten the nut to pull the plate down so you can swing it round. Trying to push the plate down and twist it into place by hand is a pain. Use the nut to pull the plate down, swing it round then tighten the nut fully.

I add some silicone grease to help it swing across too, it either goes in first time or its stubborn as fk...
